Pete at Ivywood Florist made absolutely sure my Mother’s flowers were perfect and exactly what I wanted and were delivered in time for her service. He kept me informed of what the arrangement looked like with multiple photos every step of the way! Cannot recommend this florist high enough! True professionals in every aspect!
Ivywood Florist took care of our daughter’s Wedding needs. There is so much more to decorating a stage and Pete has everything and helped to suggest things. We rented two candelabra, two columns to set ferns on which added the perfect touch to the stage.
The flowers I can not even begin to tell you how beautiful. The wrist corsages were full of detail and were a perfect add to the Mother of the Bride and Groom.
The bridal bouquet was full of fresh roses, greenery and eucalyptus. Wrapped and pinned for ease of holding. The toss bouquet was a small version of the bridal bouquet and added so much fun. The Maid of Honor was a little bigger than the Bridesmaids bouquets to signify her title. They were stunning and added that extra pop of color to compliment their dresses. The Grandmothers had their own pin corsages that compliment the same flowers as the entire bridal party.
The Groom’s boutonnière was bigger than the rest of the of the other guys. The Best Man has one a little bit smaller than the Groom so he would stand out and the Groomsmen all had one a little smaller. All of them matched and complimented the bouquet as well. The Father of the bride, the Father of the Groom and the Grandfathers all had matching boutonnières.
The center piece that went on the baptismal was a challenge, to think of how to add the blue color of the bridal parties gowns to white roses with greenery. It was a mixture of the same bridal flowers with blue hydrangeas mixed in. It set the stage between the two candelabras and was the added compliment to the center of the stage.
Even down to the flower girl basket and pedals was gorgeous.
There were also 8 pew bows that he made and he had the pew holders available to follow the church requirement and mark off reserved family seating.
The service we received from Ivywood was true Customer Service. Planning, choosing and getting ideas from Pete (the owner), worked to perfection.
He delivered the flowers on time and even allowed me to pay for pick up of the items rented in order for me to get on to the reception and be the Mother of the Bride.
As I was in and out of the shop I was able to see arrangements that were made in the cooler and they were equally as gorgeous.
I highly recommend Ivywood Florist for all your floral and wedding needs.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE!! This business was HOURS late delivering flowers to my home. This man was rude, his staff was rude. I have never been more appalled at a business's customer service. I was asking him (before he went off on a tantrum ) why he would tell me that the flowers would be there that morning at 10:00am if they couldn't get them there until 1:20pm. WITHOUT EVEN A CALL!! It didn't seem right that I was paying $5.00 more for a delivery to be there at a certain time, when there was no indication that they couldn't perform that. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. The owner was just full of excuses and even cursed at me! The flowers were for my mother. The ONLY reason my mother was not there when the flowers FINALLY arrived is because I asked her to stop somewhere to buy us some time. He said it didn't even matter if they were late if my mom hadn't arrived yet. I was not out of line asking for a service that I PAID FOR to be carried out. If I could give this place negative stars, I would.

Flowers are one of my favorite things...however the florist that owned Ivywood at the time of my wedding tried to screw us into not having any flowers. Pete Jackson owns Ivywood again and I would definitely use him. But the Chris guy that was the owner when I was getting married, I would never ever use him again. He is from Elba and I tried to find him through this site, but could not.
All of my bridal party flowers and my bridal bouquet were beautiful! The cala lillies remained vibrant and fresh throughout the entire ceremony! Couldn't have been happier.
