Izzy offered outfit advice, and she was so gentle and understanding with our wonderful, but anxious and clingy dog. We were nervous in front of the camera, but Izzy's confidence was reassuring. She was patient and even willing to walk nearly a mile up a mountain with us at dusk to get the perfect shot. The results were incredible!! On the day of the wedding, Izzy and Rebecca were our cool, calm, and collected cheerleaders! They helped run and stick to the timeline. They found beautiful settings and backgrounds. They made us laugh, and they guided and captured unforgettable moments. Seeing our wedding photos for the first time, and within 2-3 weeks of the wedding, was a moment full of joy and brought back all the happiness of the wedding day! They are stunning and will be treasured for the rest of our lives. My husband and I could not be more grateful to Izzy + Co for these priceless gifts. rough three postponements due to COVID-19 (!!!). Fast forward to finally getting to the wedding day and...it rained, but she came totally prepared with a rainy day plan and it truly made me feel so comfortable knowing that it was all going to be just fine! She reached out the day before to touch base and check on me and then when she arrived the day of the wedding, a huge sigh of relief came over me. Her sparkly self popped in and got.it.done! She is a pro at shuffling humans around to capture all the moments! When selecting a photographer, you want someone invested in the photos AND you/your partner, and that is Izzy. She had my back this entire journey and Izzy and Martin were so fun the day of the wedding. She makes you and your partner feel comfortable, connected, and really enjoy the moment together. The pictures were magical and I love going through them and reliving our big day. (You'd never really know it was a dreary, cold day!) Izzy is bright, cheerful, and extremely talented. feel completely relaxed about the whole photography process. Also, not only is she the BEST photographer she was amazing at giving suggestions about other vendors for our wedding that were ON POINT! That was something so helpful that I do not think you find in a lot of photographer's. Izzy was very transparent about the timing in regards to when you would receive photos which were on time! Not only were the photos gorgeous of me and my husbands moments but the caption shots of our friends and family throughout the night (she took captions of our rehearsal dinner and wedding). Her thoughtfulness on sending a little gift before the wedding to keep the bride calm was going above and beyond. Izzy is very thorough in the planning process and we appreciated having all of our planning docs in one easy online portal. It was a very helpful and easy way to communicate. Wedding days can often feel a little stressful as all of the final details come together, but our time with Izzy taking photos was so fun. We are naturally goofy people, and Izzy just ran with it, making us feel so comfortable and the day feel so perfect. Not only did she capture great photos of us, but she captured incredible photos of our friends and family. She delivered our album ahead of her deadline which we very much appreciated. The reveal was so fun and memorable. We loved reliving our wedding day during the reveal and we appreciated the time she dedicated to walking us through our album. It was also very nice having a drink with her at the end. We trusted her to have complete creative control on the locations and the compositions and the photos came out stunning. She took us for dinner and drinks after our engagement photo shoot to get to know each other more, and she shared some guestbook albums and wedding albums that she offers which we really enjoyed looking at and learning about. Throughout the process, she sent us surprise packages of little gifts to help us get ready for wedding day. When she was ready to share the finalized images from both our engagement shoot and wedding, she liked to have a Skype call to present them in a slideshow format with music so that she could watch our reactions. All of this was so unexpected and such a nice touch. Her talent (and her husband Martin’s talent) is just outstanding. She is so creative, and she produces absolutely beautiful, unique images. From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, we were just blown away with the quality (and quantity! - We received over 600 photos between the two shoots.) We will never have better photographs taken of ourselves that are so representative of us as a couple, and we are thankful that we found Izzy to capture these important moments in our lives. One different aspect that I was so pleased with was her photography of all of our wedding guests. This is not something that I was expecting to see, but it meant so much that her and Martin were going around and taking stunning photographs of our guests and family members. It was not only fun for my husband and I to look at these photos and see some moments that we may have missed, but many of our guests and family members plan to get them printed and framed because these are some of their favorite photos of themselves ever! Every single person from our wedding is visible in our photos, and that is so special to us so that we can cherish the memories with our people forever. Izzy was also insanely organized and skilled in planning out my wedding day timeline which led to a photography timeline of immaculate detail. She was the first vendor I booked, and she helped me lay out our wedding day as if she was a planner. She is so experienced with the wedding process and so skilled in wedding photography that is just makes the perfect combination for a successful business. I felt confident that we would not miss any key photos because of her detailed planning of the photo timeline. I also used all of her recommendations for other vendors, so she helped me set up the best wedding team in Savannah. It was nice to be able to use her as a resource in so many ways. We were also thankful for her timeliness in getting our engagement photos to us within a few weeks, and our wedding photos were delivered within one week!! She also gave us sneak peaks a couple days after the shoots to hold us over, which we just loved! Besides photography, Izzy offers beautiful, professional wedding albums, guest books filled of engagement photos, canvases, and prints. This is really convenient, and she is helping us bring our photos to life by getting them printed and making them a part of our home. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate in the beginning of our ceremony/reception… lightning, thunder and rain don’t make for the best wedding photography environments, but it is what you get in the south in June! Somehow, Izzy still managed to create stunning photographs! You would never know by looking at them, but while she was taking some of our portrait photos, her husband was literally holding an umbrella over her on the porch so the wasn’t’ standing in the rain!!!! And those photos, are probably our favorite! Pure magic! We even challenged her with a sparkler send-off, and she nailed it! We are beyond thrilled with our decision to have Izzy Hudgins be our photographer and would recommend her 100%! We can’t stop looking at our photos!!! Something else I absolutely must mention about Izzy, is the time she takes and the sweet little personal touches she does to make you feel special as her client! Izzy sent us sweet little gifts to show her appreciation that we chose her, and it really made us feel all warm and fuzzy inside! We especially love our Christmas ornament she had made for us with one of our engagement photos! It was a complete surprise and really warmed our hearts! Before the wedding, she even sent a thoughtful care package with all kinds of self-care goodies in it to help de-stress and to remind us to take care of ourselves during such a stressful time! Izzy really is the best and really connects with her clients! We will absolutely be reaching out to her again for future sessions! We love ya Izzy!!!
