I had a wonderful experience working with Jax and Paulina for my hair and makeup. I don’t usually wear much makeup and wanted a more natural look; Jax did an excellent job! She made sure I wouldn’t look washed out in photos, but left me feeling like I still looked like myself, which is exactly what I wanted. Paulina did such a great job on my half-up hairdo. Everything felt very secure (without giving me a headache) and the style held for the entire event. My hair and makeup both lasted beautifully from about 4pm until I went to bed that night (through an outdoor ceremony in early August at 5pm and the indoor reception with dancing out on the patio). Both ladies were very pleasant to talk with and so kind and thoughtful. I would absolutely recommend you book them for your next big event!

J and L makeup is amazing! They did hair and makeup for my wedding a few weeks ago and I was blown away by both the hairstylist and MUA. Both were truly so kind and so so talented. They consult with you about the look you are going for and check in throughout the process to ensure you are happy with the final product. The makeup held up amazing against the insane heat and sweat. The hair fell a good bit but that is mainly due to how my hair is and they did what they could to help it hold. It still looked great and made me feel beautiful the entire night. I didn’t have a trial but felt so confident they would do great and they did! If you are looking for hair and makeup services, they are your people and who will make you look hood and make sure you have a good time while doing it!

Over the years I've had the opportunity to work with numerous celebrities and be part of moments that matter. My work has appeared on the cover of Utah Bride & Groom, the cover of Sotheby's, and in People magazine. What I'm most proud of, though, is creating looks that make my clients feel confident, beautiful, and completely themselves.

Our diverse backgrounds and celebrity clientele allow us to combine experience with creativity in all of our services. We have over 50 years of experience between us. We've worked with hundreds of brides and have been featured on RHOSLC, FOX13, and PCTV. We specialize in weddings, television, print, film, events, and private lessons. We've recently added spray tanning to our beauty menu and have a team of hairstylists that work with us as well.

ew I was in the best hands. They each took the time to understand my vision, and somehow brought it to life even better than I imagined. On my wedding day, they were calm, professional, and such a grounding presence amidst what could have been a stressful time. My hair and makeup lasted flawlessly through tears, hugs, dancing, eating, and drinking. I felt radiant, comfortable, and most importantly like myself... just the most elevated, glowing version. Linda took care of our moms (extra special since Linda is Jax's mom!), and they both looked stunning. She worked with their features and preferences so thoughtfully. This team is not just insanely talented; they’re kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about making their clients feel their absolute best. me she was not doing makeup because of the pandemic. I immediately started to panic. I had my bridals set up the following week and I was getting married in about a month and didn't have anyone to do my makeup!! My mom reached out to our neighbors, who happen to be JandL makeup (we did not know at this at the time). Jaclyn and Linda were AMAZING! They stepped into action immediately! They not only did my make up (last minute) for my bridals they also happened to be available for my wedding! That is just the first part of this story. Given that my wedding got turned upside down and I ended up getting married in my mom's backyard, which was a blessing in disguise. Jaclyn and Linda opened their home to me and my bridesmaids! They had a little home studio for us to get our make up done. They even allowed us to use their home to get our hair done!! They provided drinks and wonderful entertainment. Above and beyond what I had expected or even anticipated! The professionalism and hospitality was incredible! They also agreed last minute to do makeup for my grandmother and aunt! My 88 year old grandmother looked incredible and it made her so happy! Not to mention me and my bridesmaids all looked beautiful! I highly recommend them to anyone getting married!
