Jax and Megan were a perfect team to make me and my bridal party look and feel amazing on my wedding day! They made it so easy and traveled to our venue to get ready, and made everyone feel amazing, even our little flower girls! I can be super picky when it comes to hair and makeup, and I got so lucky with Jax! I highly recommend for your wedding.

Planning a destination wedding can be stressful. Jax responded to emails in a timely manner and was very thorough. She is extremely personable and made me feel so comfortable. Her makeup was amazing. My eyelashes stayed on all night and for the first time ever my foundation wasn’t caked on. My entire bridal party looked amazing and we loved the way we looked. I highly recommend booking with Jax. She really is talented and amazing at her job.

Jax and her team came to our house to do hair and makeup for our daughter’s wedding. They were super flexible when it came to working around our schedule (which was not flexible), they arrived right on time, and were both professional and fun. They did an amazing job….listening to each person to determine exactly what look they wanted, and then miraculously creating the desired look. Thank you so much!

I cannot say enough about the talent of Jaclyn! Not only is she incredibly fun and kind but she truly has a talent for makeup. I chose her to do my wedding makeup and she absolutely exceeded expectations. The makeup stayed on all night, photographed like a dream, and felt light on my face. I decided based on photos and other reviews that I wanted J and L Makeup for my big day. I called Jackie to see if she was available on my wedding day. She immediately called me back and she also moved her schedule around with another event to make it work. Jackie, Linda and Megan did beautiful work! They are incredibly talented and I couldn’t be happier how my hair and makeup turned out on my wedding day. Everyone in my bridal party looked absolutely stunning! J and L Makeup was extremely punctual and organized with getting all of us girls done in time. They also stayed with me up until the ceremony just to make sure everything was perfect. I cannot say enough good things, I highly recommend this glam squad!

I got married in June of 2020 right in the middle of the pandemic. In May of 2020, I reached out to the woman I had hired to do my make up for my bridals and wedding. She informed me she was not doing makeup because of the pandemic. I immediately started to panic. I had my bridals set up the following week and I was getting married in about a month and didn't have anyone to do my makeup!! My mom reached out to our neighbors, who happen to be JandL makeup (we did not know at this at the time). Jaclyn and Linda were AMAZING! They stepped into action immediately! They not only did my make up (last minute) for my bridals they also happened to be available for my wedding! That is just the first part of this story. Given that my wedding got turned upside down and I ended up getting married in my mom's backyard, which was a blessing in disguise. Jaclyn and Linda opened their home to me and my bridesmaids! They had a little home studio for us to get our make up done. They even allowed us to use their home to get our hair done!! They provided drinks and wonderful entertainment. Above and beyond what I had expected or even anticipated! The professionalism and hospitality was incredible! They also agreed last minute to do makeup for my grandmother and aunt! My 88 year old grandmother looked incredible and it made her so happy! Not to mention me and my bridesmaids all looked beautiful! I highly recommend them to anyone getting married!

J and L Makeup did an amazing job on the makeup for my bridal photos and for my wedding day. A few of my ladies do not regularly wear makeup and they felt so comfortable in the makeup they had on. They listened to exactly what I wanted and asked questions as we went to make sure I was 100% satisfied. The quality of the makeup they use is amazing. My makeup looked great from begining to end, even after dinner and 3 hours of dancing. I have already recommended them to friends getting married and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a quality makeup artist.

I have never felt more confident, beautiful, and authentically myself than after Jax finished my wedding makeup. Our day was filled with last minute changes (hello, planning a wedding in 2020), but Jax was a source of constant encouragement and positivity leading up to and on our wedding day. She was endlessly patient as we navigated the challenges of a pandemic and safety concerns and, most importantly, she made our entire bridal party look and feel so gorgeous and glamorous for our wedding. Jax is a true joy to work with, and there’s no company I’d recommend more than J and L Makeup. J & L Makeup made me look absolutely amazing for both my engagement photos and my wedding day! I was worried, being close to 50, that I wouldn't be able to look fantastic but Jaclyn was wonderful! I couldn't have been happier. She was patient during the trial asking a lot of questions about what I wanted and worked with me to create the perfect look.
