s a great personality, and got along with everyone there. He even got to know my bridesmaids by guessing their names only by knowing their occupation. I received so many compliments and comments on our photographer about how nice he is and the great personality he has. The photos came out beautiful as well! You can tell he knows what looks good, how to get the right angles, and how to make everyone pose. He brought along a second photographer, Veronica, who was amazing as well. She would take an idea that Justin had and would bring it to life in the most beautiful way! Even when it started to rain a little, we used it to our advantage! We shortly realized how easy it can be, all thanks to Justin. From start to finish, Justin was professional, organized and caring. In addition, my husband never really enjoyed the thought of taking pictures. However, my husband says now how thankful he is for Justin and how he made the picture taking fun and enjoyable and not awkward or weird. On our wedding day, Justin didn't miss a beat. We actually had our guests come up to us asking if we knew him personally and if he was part of our families. This goes to show how caring and kind he is. h we had our wedding during COVID, and booked him from 2019- I found that he over promised and under delivered. Dont get me wrong, the photos actually came out okay for the most part, But the process to get them was the worst thing EVER. I think that Justin over booked himself and my husband and I waited 7 months to get our pictures, after multiple calls, texts, emails, and visits to his office to find him. It wasn't until I sent him a picture of his office door (showing we came to pay him a visit) did he respond to me after 3 months of not hearing a single thing from him. I was so angry and it was taking a toll on me because all I kept thinking was this man ran off with our thousands of dollars spent on our wedding photograph with nothing to show for it. I had to threaten him that I found an attorney to come after him and in a matter of 2 mins he responded and then sent over our picture an hour later. Not to mention, when he first sent over the pictures it was only 116 pictures of randomness. I tried to call him to let him know this couldn't be all the pictures and he literally sent me to voicemail. I had to leave a voicemail, then he responded via text "im in a meeting-oh the files got mixed up." I was so furious with his LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, HE HAS HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION SKILLS ESPECIALLY AS A BUSINESS OWNER, AND IS GREEDY ONLY FOR HIS MONEY!!! I would strongly urge those who are looking for a photographer to look elsewhere. Working with Justin is not worth the stress and frustration. There is no way this man should be in business anymore. If you cant do the job then be humble enough to know that. I was so patient with him and understanding of what is happening, especially regarding COVID-19 but he didnt give me the same grace back and pretty much left me to worry and stress.

sured my sister that he would send other great shooters. 3 days before the wedding he sent her an email with the names of 2 shooters that Justin had never mentioned and forgot to tell her. The main shooter was horrific. Rude. Unprofessional. Scattered. Erratic. He gave no direction for poses. Each shot took way too long. When he did put us in poses, many were terrible and if they look OK it’s only because our videographer was making suggestions to tweak our poses. He didn’t do ANY pictures that the bride kept asking for. The bride and groom did a first look with an hour and 40 minutes before the ceremony. That apparently wasn’t enough time to get in all the group pictures for him. The bridal party, the bride and groom missed the entire cocktail hour (literally the reason they did the first look). During cocktail hour he stated that he “needed a break to eat” and vanished for 10 minutes. At this point none of us had eaten or drank either. That was just one comment among many other terribly unprofessional and SHOCKING comments (another of my favorites was “I’m about to get in my car and go” - just what every bride wants to hear from her vendor on her wedding day). The bride then had to ask him later on in the evening to take pictures of her and her husband because he barely got any that she wanted. He honestly should be fired and she should get her money back for how unbelievably awful they were. It was a terrible experience and I would never recommend this company to anyone unless you want to 1) wait 6+ months for your pictures, 2) want to deal with someone who is terrible at communicating or 3) want to have a shooter who was rude and incompetent on the most important day of your life.

Justin made me and my husband (who are both fairly awkward when it comes to posing for photos) very comfortable and was good at staging us to get all the perfect shots. Our engagement session with him was a year ago, he traveled to our location and spent a few hours taking pics which made us comfortable with him and get a taste of his style. He offered us a complimentary engagement photo shoot, and the most important part of the shoot was per Justin, "I want to have this shoot so that I can explain all of my terminology to you before the wedding, so we can be as efficient on the wedding day and not waste time having me try to explain how I want you to position yourselves, so you guys can get the most out of your big day!" I thought that was incredible insight and preperation that I highly appreciated. He also had a great website for pre-wedding ideas we could put as much insight as we wanted. He had a pre-wedding conversation with us for probably an hour to over all the details so we were all on the same page.
Throughout the big day, he and his assistant were so professional and just plain light and fun to be around. They both were very helpful, and his assistant even helped some of my groomsmen with dressing lol. Throughout the big day Justin was always brainstorming ideas of new and creative ways to take advantage of the ballroom space we had to make memorable photos, and he wasn't afraid to get on the floor several times to make beautiful photos.

ographer we could have ever hoped for on our wedding day--but don't. No one photographs like Justin--no one. His use of light will make your photos seem ever present yet other worldly. His intuition guides him to get the shots you definitely want, as well as the shots you didn't even know you did. His compassion and guidance help you to pose for the best photo possible, as well as help your Maid of Honor to fluff your dress and you and your groom to cut your cake, because he knows weddings. I personally have sung at a lot of weddings, and honestly, it's hard to get excited for every single couple, but it isn't for Justin. He treats your day like it's the biggest day of his life, too. By the end of it all, he felt like a friend to me and my husband--a friend who takes life changing photos. I'd say you won't regret hiring him, but by the time you read this, I doubt you'll be able to--my cousin tried to hire him for June 2019 and he's already booked for her date.

I am a photographer myself and I used to live and work in Connecticut before moving down to Houston, TX and I actually have work with Justin as well as 30-40 other photographers in that area and Justin is simply one of the best. His technical skills with lighting (especially with off camera lighting) and camera skills are excellent and he is also very good at posing the bride and groom, wedding party, group shots so he very versatile in both photojournalism and formal portraiture which are both very important in wedding photography.
Last but not least, there is a saying that you get what you pay for, but with Justin, you'll be getting a lot more than what you pay for, he's actually quite under priced because his talent is quite rare and his work can compete with anyone in the world.

rices were very reasonable. On the day of the wedding, Justin showed up early to set-up. He made all the girls feel comfortable while taking pictures, but more important he made us all laugh so much. He was so much fun to work with. His assistant Garret was also awesome as well. We felt so comfortable with the two of them and the whole bridal party had so much fun taking pictures. Justin showed me some of the pictures and I was literally blown away. I couldn't believe what I was seeing because the pictures looked unreal, breathtaking, and beautiful.
