About this vendor
Our style combines a unique, lush collection from our cutting garden, local flower farmers and the incredible markets from around the world.
Lead by third generation florist, Jody Costello, our well trained, professional team creates floral designs ranging from romantic & textural to classic & modern, it's all about you and your style!
We also really care about the environment and take steps in our studio to limit the impact of our business by composting, being a "foam free" studio and make buying American grown a priority.
We only take a limited number of events each year which allows us to give each event our full attention. We're about more than beautiful flowers, we want to create beautiful relationships with our Clients which begins with a private consultation in our studio.

Jody is the only florist ANYONE should book. She brought my vision to life PERFECTLY, especially the two large altar arrangements, which took my breath away when I saw them. Not on...
ly that, she went above and beyond for recommendations about other decor based on her experience and even pitched in to help set up a tricky pipe & drape at the venue. My wedding was truly MADE by these flowers and I cannot rave enough about Jody. Book her - it’s the best wedding choice you can make!! THANK YOU JODY!!!!
Jody from J Costello Designs is a floral genius! We loved that she used all locally sourced flowers, and her prices were incredibly reasonable and affordable. What truly amazed us ...
was her ability to perfectly understand our vision without us having to go into exhaustive detail. The bouquets and arrangements were absolutely beautiful and exactly what we had dreamed of.
Jody is seriously so talented and I can't recommend her enough. She was so fun to work with! We opted for a classic white floral wedding and she did not disappoint. She gave us the...
most beautiful and timeless centerpieces and bouquets that were just dreamy. She made sure that my vision was executed at the next level. She was so easy to communicate with and I already look forward to another opportunity where she and I can work together again. Thank you Jody for a beautiful wedding day!
Jody made our day the most beautiful with her floral designs. She was highly profession and extremely responsive to all questions and concerns and was able to meet with us to walk ...
us through our vision. She worked well with all our vendors and I can’t imagine a more perfect florist. The flowers were stunning and everything we could’ve dreamed of. Cannot recommend enough!!
Our wedding planner recommended Jody and we are so glad she did! Jody was so wonderful to work with. We were a bit aimless with our design choices and gave pretty general (and prob...
ably not very helpful!) insight into what we were looking for. Jody took what little we gave her and ran with it! We weren't super focused on floral as a priority, but looking back, the flowers really completed the vision we had for our wedding. Jody's work was stunning - it was thoughtful, sustainable, and, of course, beautiful. We had some of the flowers dried and set in resin so we can always look at Jody's work.
On a personal level, Jody is lovely to work with. It's always great to support small local businesses, and you can tell how much Jody loves what she does and cares for her clients. Can't recommend her enough!
Jody did an AMAZING job with the flowers for our mini wedding ceremony and dinner! My bouquet, the table arrangements and beautiful floral arch were perfect. Jody and her time were...
punctual for set up and clean up and communication throughout the entire process was seamless.
5/5 for flowers. The flowers were beautiful! I loved our centerpieces and everyone thought they looked great. The staff member who came to clean up also clipped bouquets for us to ...
take, and I appreciated that.
3.5-4/5 for customer service. The customer service aspect could have been better. One factor that could have been approved was timeliness and communication. Jodi was late to the venue/did not let my MOH know she had arrived, like we established she would do a few days before. She wasn’t very friendly when my MOH finally tracked her down as well. So, that was disappointing.
Other than that, I was happy with the service and how the floral arrangements looked!
Jody was the florist for our wedding and made the most incredible floral arrangements and bouquets. She brought my vision and mood board to life and I couldn't be happier with how ...
our wedding turned out. The blooms and colors were so fresh and they truly transformed a modern venue to feel romantic and dreamy.
Jody was amazing to work with! She was very open to design inspiration and made our vision come to life. Our small COVID wedding was a change in plans to an outdoor event, and we w...
ere looking for a variety of florals to blend the natural setting with our elegant design. Jody did just that! Her design for our arch was spectacular and the blend of florals she picked sparked my imagination.
She communicated well and was flexible on set up time.
She also went above and beyond, using the extra greenery and florals throughout our space. We really appreciate what Jody designed and helped us with on our day. I would 100% recommend working with her. Thanks, Jody!
We loved working with a Jody. She did a wonderful job on The flowers for the wedding. The bouquets were beautiful and the “wedding wall” was just gorgeous. Her unique touch was ver...
y free flowing and lovely. The farm tables turned out gorgeous with artistic flair for mixed spring flowers and varied votives and vases for a Bohemian look. The tall vases had cherry blossoms just budded which gave a beautiful definition to the room. There was a round rustic chandelier hanging over the two brides at the head table which had vines draping throughout which was also just another special place to catch your eye. The whole room looked just gorgeous for a “Distillery” which basically was a blank slate. The florals really made the room and the table setting was just beautiful . I would highly recommend her. She was very sweet and easy to work with throughout. On a side note this wedding was originally scheduled in Florida but due to hurricane Michael destroying everything on our island we moved the wedding back to Michigan 1/2 way through our wedding planning. Needless to say we were very emotional and stressed out but it all ended “ happily ever after” .....
Jody and her team did an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding reception at Zingerman's Cornman Farms in Dexter, MI. The quality of her work for the cost was simply incredib...
le. We aren't flower experts and we had a hard time articulating our "vision." Despite this, Jody "got" us and delivered amazing florals that exceeded every expectation that we had. The highlight was a large hanging installation above our head table that was absolutely stunning. Jody is a true artisan and professional.
Jody was amazing to work with! She did our bouquets and centerpieces for our wedding at the Henry Ford Museum in December. Jody is so kind and friendly and made sure to work with o...
ur budget. From our first meeting, I felt like Jody really understood our vision and what we wanted the space to look like. Jody even found special vases for us and added them to her collection because she felt like they fit our venue just perfectly! I cannot recommend Jody and her amazing floral talents anymore. We received endless compliments on the bouquets and centerpieces!
Jody did our ceremony and reception flowers for our January wedding and they were everything I wanted them to be and more. She took my few inspiration photos and ideas and made the...
m even better than what I had imagined. She designed three different centerpiece styles for us, two tall arrangements for our ceremony, and all of our personal flowers. Every single thing was beautiful and we received so many compliments on all of the floral décor. Without a doubt, she helped complete our reception vision.
Judy was amazing! I had an extremely busy schedule while planning my wedding and she was extremely accommodating. We were able to discuss everything over the phone, send over some ...
pinterest boards, and Jody created perfection. I worried about absolutely nothing the day of and could not have been happier.
Jody did the floral arrangements for my Colony Club (Detroit) wedding. Since I had a Summer wedding I wanted floral to be the only decoration. Jody instantly won me over with he...
r positive, happy attitude. She was so receptive to all my ideas. She not only did beautiful Floral but actually told me to scale some things back to help stay in budget. (A wedding vendor telling you to scale back & working with your budget!? Unheard of!) That showed to me she truly loves what she does, respected the budget I gave her, and she isn't in it just for the money. The entire process with her was seamless and stress free (not the case with some of my other wedding vendors). If you trust her expertise and let her do her thing you will not be disappointed!!
Absolutely love Jody and she is a pleasure to work with. She completely understood my vision and every arrangement at the wedding was beautiful and perfect. It was exactly the coll...
