Douglas Prendergast began his career as a wedding officiant after overseeing the ceremonies of his friends and coworkers. After seeing how much genuine joy and humor he could help bring to a couple’s special day, Doug began working professionally in 2012. He can solemnize and and sign marriage licenses in all 50 states to ensure that your special day has no limitations. He only books one event per day in order to give you his utmost attention and focus during your time at the altar. Whether you’re having an elopement or grand celebration, J. Douglas Prendergast will work closely with you to create your dream ceremony. With his experience in both religious, non-denominational or civil (non-religious) weddings, Doug can design your special day to feature any rituals or personalized vows you prefer. You will also have the option of pre-marital counseling as a chance for you to mentally and spiritually prepare for your new life in marriage. For pre-qualified couples, an hour of compatibility consulting is included in the base price.
