J. Fiereck Photography

re our big day. I pored through site after site of reviews, blogs, and sample work every evening. Finally running across the JFiereck site, I realized that this was exactly what we had been looking for all along - and after our very first meeting with Jennifer we could tell right away that the fit was perfect! Jen met us the fall before our wedding to take engagement photos in the park where my husband proposed. My husband is notoriously statue-like in posed photos, and I’m no portrait model myself, so naturally we were both anxious about the appointment. There was absolutely no need to be! Jen knew exactly how to give gentle hints here and there without us ever feeling posed. To this day my husband and I will look at each other and request “smooches!!”, smiling at the memory of the awesome time we had with Jen taking those shots! We asked Jen to shoot our Madison Beach Hotel wedding and reception with a fellow shooter and assistant (shout out to Ashley and Kassandra!) because we wanted to be able to capture more than one perspective at any given moment. Jen and her team were prompt, and just as excited as us on our wedding day! The team captured every emotion throughout the day, seeming to move completely intuitively and in sync with my husband and I. They were able to easily wrangle our massive number of family members into taking all the photos we wanted prior to the ceremony (easing the extreme type A personality of mine). Jen even worked with us to beautifully capture a small surprise for our guests: a fire spinner! A few months before our wedding, Jen sent an email recommending a videographer should any of her clients be interested/need one. We had held off on hiring one, but jumped at the chance to work with Nathan Oldham, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Jen and Nathan worked perfectly in tandem to create amazing, thoughtful work. Thanks Nathan! We are so immensely happy with the photos we received just a short time after our wedding. We love looking back at all the moments, small or large, that Jen was able to capture for us. We will certainly cherish the memories for the rest of our lives, and are lucky to be able to do so through the talented work of JFiereck. Thank you so much Jen! Melanie & Andrew

edding pictures. She made everything so easy and helped us feel comfortable. We are so thrilled with how all of the pictures turned out. Thank you Brandi and Mike for capturing such wonderful moments on our wedding day!

o help us every step of the way. We felt like she was much more than what we expected of our photographer, her wedding knowledge and overall professionalism helped to guide us through the details of wedding planning and ensure the day went smoothly. With that said, most importantly, her photography was also amazing. She captured every special moment, kiss, laugh and everything in between. We also feel that she included all the types of photos we asked for and then surprised us with some magazine cover worthy shots I could have never imagined. Brandi assisted Jen on our big day and was a wonderful asset and very talented as well. We were grateful for the whole J. Fiereck team and intend to use and refer Jen for any future needs.

ng in my hometown, it takes a team. My then fiance and I met with Jen for the first time at her beautiful studio and immediately felt as though we'd all known each other for years. Key points about Jen and her operation is that her business is truly a labor of love. She chose to become a FT photographer and her energy and excitement is tangible. She radiates when discussing lighting, venues, new ideas, and original thoughts, which is helpful for a couple that doesn't know or quite frankly care for such things! What sold us was that Jen openly admitted in our introductory meeting that there needs to be a good chemistry between couples and their photogs. It's one of the most important days of your life and bad chemistry with a photographer comes through in photos which would leave her and you disappointed. I truly appreciated the honesty and it's a good point for you to remember while shopping photographers. But trust me and be ready, Jen becomes a friend without even trying! Additionally, she promised that there would be shots where you ask "How did she get that, I didn't even know she was there" - of course I was skeptical but trust me, it's SO.TRUE. There are quite random candids of simple moments that she saw and created portraits out of that are beautiful beyond compare. She made my husband helping me onto a limo bus look like prince charming and Cindy in the pumpkin carriage. I could gush all day about J.Fiereck, but all I can say is, you need a team of positive people on your wedding day and looking back, my husband, family and bridal party all remark about how Jen and the team were a perfect fit. Please check out J.Fiereck on Facebook and IG this engagement season and book her quickly - teams this amazing go fast! Highlights: - Tiered pricing and packages to avoid awkward negotiations - Free site visit prior to the big day to discuss priority shots and locations - Extra staff on your wedding day (you always need the extra set of hands) - Jen created a photography timeline (VERY helpful for distribution to family and bridal party so they know where to be and when) - Access to downloadable digital prints for months following the wedding, couple order discounts (think xmas gifts) and beautifully designed albums - After it's all said and done, you have a new friend that takes AMAZING photos!

like she would be fun to work with as well as being able to capture all our special moments. And we wer right. She was so accommodating since we were planning from out of state. We had a skype interview and was very detailed. The day of the wedding she and her assistant were great! She guided us through everything and helped keep us on time. She went with our crazy bridal party and our ideas and it was great! We are so excited to see our pictures and we would reccommend Brandi and J.Fiereck any time!

with her right away. Jen is professional, down-to-earth and fun to work with. She made my husband and myself feel comfortable in front of the camera (which is not an easy task for either of us). At our wedding I barely even noticed she was there along with her assistants Andrea and Kassandra, which made for some really great candids. Our photos our absolutely beautiful..she captured our wedding perfectly. Can't wait to use Jen again for our future milestones. Thank you J. Fiereck Photography!

free. She was always available by phone or email beforehand to make sure everything was planned out so the day of ran smooth. She was a great resource and her photos really speak for themselves so go to the website and look! We would absolutely recommend her to any of our friends!

wedding, Jen did a site visit of our wedding venue and made an itinerary for the day. She made the day less stressful because of this! Not only were Jen and her team professional, they were friendly, easy to work with and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (difficulty to do!) We didn't even notice they were taking pictures throughout the day! We received our photos in less than 6 weeks and they were all simply amazing. She was able to beautifully capture our day, down to the tiny details that I had wanted photographed. We would highly recommend her to anyone!

thing I wanted to capture was photographed. She was professional and even allowed me to make a custom package so that I didn't go over my budget. On the day she was so comforting. I can't say enough about her and from the boys- Brandi was great too! If you need a photographer so any occasion consider Jennifer. You won't be disappointed!!!

a way of making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Her wedding packages were also very reasonably priced compared to some others in the area. I believe we received our engagement photos in a matter of days, and our wedding photos were online within just three weeks! The quality of the pictures is great - like something you would see in a bridal magazine! We are so happy that we chose Jen to capture our big day and would highly recommend her to anyone!

organized and professional. I would recommend J. Fiereck Photography to any bride!

Portraits were well positioned, we had great guidance, and looked relaxed. My husband even commented that he was not expecting to have so much fun at both our engagement session and wedding pictures. Jen was nice, friendly, enthusiastic and passionate about her work and genuinely wanted to make our day the best day possible. Jen went above and beyond what I had expected our photographer to do. I strongly recommend J. Fiereck Photography!!!!

t have been happier with J.Fiereck Photography. Both Jen and Joanne were excellent - we couldn't imagine working with anyone else to capture all the moments of our wedding. Joanne was so easy to work with and we enjoyed our time with her for both the engagement session and the wedding. Their turnaround for the photos was super fast; we received our wedding photos within one month of the wedding. We were really pleased with the photos; they came out very artistic and impressive. We could not speak more highly of their professionalism, service, and quality. We highly recommend them to anyone for wedding or other photos. You won't be disappointed! -Kelly & Greg, married 10/17/2014

alented (based on photo albums viewed). She took the time to come visit the Church and reception site which made me feel more comfortable that everything would go smoothly the day of the wedding. When the big day finally came she was one time and got right to work. She did a great job of capturing moments that were candid and not staged. The entire day went so smoothly because of the detailed itinerary that she provided. She was very creative with her pictures ideas which created some amazing photos. She captured all the special moments of the day and all those unexpected amazing moments. We received the pictures in 6 weeks which was pretty quick in my opinion. There were over 800 pictures taken that day that came out beautifully. I would definitely recommend Jen and her team to any bride getting married. They were definitely a very important part of making our wedding unforgettable.

lso just enjoyed having these photographers as a part of our special day. We met with a few photographers before meeting with Jen, and we knew right away that she was the right fit for our vision of our wedding day. Jen was extremely organized, enthusiastic, and accommodating. She really listened to what we had to say and made us feel that our day was important to her, as well. The portfolios that she showed us were stunning, and we were impressed right away with the perfect blend of formal and candid photos. We first had the pleasure of taking part in an engagement photo session with Jen and her assistant. We highly recommend including this option in your package, since it is a great way to get to know the photographers before the wedding. We all had a great time at the session, and the photos from that day turned out beautiful. Jen is a true artist. On the day of the wedding, Jen and her two assistants were wonderful to work with and made the entire experience very relaxed, comfortable, and fun. We did a first look session before the ceremony, which was one of our favorite parts of the day. The photographers really did make this a special moment, and we are so pleased with the outcome. The shoot with family and the wedding party were a lot of fun to be a part of, and the final pictures are beautiful and everything we could have hoped for. Throughout the reception, Jen was organized and efficient. While taking photos, she was also an advocate for us and made sure that we ate, that we got all of the pictures that we wanted with family, and that everything ran smoothly without any stress. Looking back, we really did enjoy the support that all three of the photographers from J. Fiereck Photography provided throughout the day. We would highly recommend Jen Fiereck and J. Fiereck Photography without hesitation. It was a pleasure working with her, and we truly appreciated her experience, advice, and friendship throughout the wedding experience. On top of all of this, she is a wonderful artist who cares deeply about the quality of the photos. Thank you, Jen!

w Jen and she learned a lot about us a couple. When seeing the photos from the engagement shoot we were thrilled with how well they came out, and to have them as our guest book was an even better idea! We met with Jen for a brief run down of family pictures and how we wanted the day to go, and let me tell you... it went fabulous. Jen and her staff were absolute perfection, they kept the entire bridal party on time, organized and excited throughout the night, they were discretely capturing every touching and sentimental moment along with the many laughs of the night. We have recently received over 1,000 wedding photos from JFiereck and they are gorgeous! Our family raves about them daily, the creativity is flawless, and each picture is honestly worth 1,000 words. Thank you for making the best day ever, Truly the best day ever for us, thank you for being the best!

we were overwhelmed each photographers photos looked better then the next. We went on four interviews before we decided on our photographer, and let me tell you we made the best decision and could not be happier! After meeting with Jen we knew right away she was the one, not only was her work amazing but as a person she is so down to earth. She included our engagement photos in our wedding package, and even came to us for the photos. On our wedding day Jen and her team went above and beyond to get the best photos they could. Besides our planned bridal party photos we did not even notice Jen and her team while they took photos. I have hear horror stories of photographers getting in the way and making everyone pose, taking up a lot of a newly weds day. Not Jen, we had hundreds of photos that we did not even realize she was taking. Everyone who has seen our photos can not stop taking about them, I even emailed Jen tonight to tell her that my friends and family think her work should be in magazines!I was once in everyone shoes reading this review, not knowing what way to turn and I will tell you right now go with J.Fiereck and you will not be sorry. Your wedding photos are to me the most important part of planning a wedding, you will look at your photos the rest of you life to remember your special day! Thank you Jen!!!!!!

eat to work with! She is very dedicated to profession and it's clear she loves what she does! We loved that most of the time you didn't even know she was there, yet she captured beautiful pictures! It's great not to have "in your face" all the time. She has great vision and ideas for photographs. We were extremely impressed with the short time that it took to get our photos and the amazing presentation to view them! We are very happy we went with her and you will be too!

wedding day. Jennifer is responsive to e-mails and phone calls, and is very flexible (especially for out-of-town brides). Our engagement session was so much fun, and when we saw the pictures...WOW. She did such a great job that it was so hard to pick pictures. And then at the wedding, she was nothing but an amazing photographer and person. She helped get me to the venue, helped bring order to family, and was a joy to be with during the day. Jennifer and her team is fantastic and they are worth booking ASAP.

. I was very impressed by Jennifer and her team's ability to work with the different lighting and scenery. We aren't the most comfortable couple with taking photos, but Jennifer made the time very enjoyable, which translates to the beautiful photos. The engagement shoot was included in our wedding package and Jennifer used our favorite photos from the shoot to put together our guest book. Before the wedding, Jennifer was very prepared and we created a detailed itinerary of the day and photos that we wanted. On the day of the wedding, Jennifer photographed my bridesmaids and myself getting ready. She was genuinely excited and made sure to capture key moments and details. Her assistant, Brandi, photographed my husband and his groomsmen getting ready and also did a fantastic job. Jennifer's team was very professional during our ceremony and made sure to capture the important moments, as well as some great candids. At our reception at The Riverivew, the team did an incredible job capturing the happiness of all of our guests and the beautiful setting. I received my finished photos ahead of Jennifer's given timeline and they are all stunning. Jennifer and her team are all hard workers and are very talented.

the day of the wedding, she and her team were on time and organized. She made everyone feel comfortable and special. She is also very quick at getting your final pictures back. I would absolutely recommend her.

pertise. The details of the event seem so overwhelming until you sit down with her! Her organizational skills are flawless - not to mention the quality of her photos are unsurpassed by any local wedding photographer. Many of my guests commented on how friendly, fun, and professional Jen and her team members were on the day of our wedding. They do not stand out or distract from the events, but still have a hold on the entire day's schedule and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that everything is executed properly. If you want a perfect wedding day and quality images to look back on, then I definitely recommend Jen and her team!

r pricing is reasonable, I have no complaints. Great experience!

o work with. When we think back on our wedding day the first thing that comes to mind are the special people like the J Fiereck Photography Team that made our day so wonderful. Jen and her team really are the best professional photographers to work with. The day we were given access to our photo gallery, we were in awe of how elegant and beautiful the photos came out. Every time I look at our photos they make me think of a pieces of art you see in museums. I can't imagine a better experience or better photos. Thank you so much guys for making our special day one we will always love treasure!

fessional - we appreciated the quick and open communication, and she was great at listening to exactly what we wanted and adding her input. She is also SO MUCH FUN! It was very important to us that we work with someone who made us feel comfortable - Joanne's easy-going attitude and awesome sense of humor helped do that. We were totally comfortable working with her, and that shows in our photos. She was the easiest vendor for us to book - immediately after leaving our first meeting with her, we both knew we wanted to work with her. The photos were delivered on time, and were displayed in an online gallery that we were able to share with our friends and family, which also has an easy-to-use app (so now I can stare at my beautiful pictures on my phone all day). We were also given the rights to our photos, which was very important to us. The photos themselves are gorgeous. We had such a tough time choosing our favorites to hang around the house and send to family members. We would whole-heartedly recommend Joanne and J. Fiereck to any couple looking to beautifully capture their big day!

ing from our engagement shoot to the wedding day. From our first meeting with her we just clicked right away. Her love and passion for photography makes me want to be a photographer! She is very flexible with negotiations for her packages, meeting times and returned all emails/calls within 24 hours. She showed up on time and was exactly where I needed her to be all night. I was so sad when it came time for her to leave! We also booked our photo booth through Jen as she does have a package for that, which includes an attendant. There were tons of props included in the photo booth and I actually ended up using a second print from it for people to make into our guest book. We recently received our pictures back and I was over the moon with Jen’s work and the pictures. I actually get choked up looking through all of the images just remembering how amazing the day was! She did not miss one single shot! Thank you SO much Jen!! We love you!!!!

we clicked, and she completely understood my vision for our wedding. One of my favorite things about working with her was the pre-wedding site visit included in the package. We were able to meet at our wedding location a few weeks before the wedding and walk around the ceremony and reception areas to plan out the best places for our first look and photos. And she was great about getting all the details on the necessary family/bridal party photos and the timing so we could get them done in a timely fashion before the ceremony. Having this all planned out ahead of time really eased my stress on the day of! It was a long 6 week wait to get the photos but well worth it in the end. They are beautiful and we have received so many compliments from friends and family. Would highly recommend J. Fiereck and specifically their associate photographer, Joanne!

and professional. We are definitely going to recommend her to our friends getting married.

ur wedding photos came out great and continue to remind me of the emotion of the day!

is that they do a site visit a few weeks before you're big day to brainstorm ideas and become familiar with your venue. They really share in your joy and capture all of the best moments without being obtrusive.

hen we were on the search for a photographer. J. Fiereck photography was our one and only stop thanks to glowing reviews on "the knot"--which was confirmed upon meeting Jen. From the initial meeting there is a level of comfort matched with professionalism that not only sets you at ease, it escalates the excitement in knowing that a masterpiece of memories are going to be captured by the hands of skilled, yet personable photographers. The "menu" of photography packages is creatively presented--you're working with the real deal. Jen is consistent with communication, planning and delivery of exceptional photos. From our engagement session to the beautiful memories captured on our wedding day, my husband and I could not be more thankful and pleased. Upon previewing our wedding photos, Jen even had the most delicious cupcakes as a snack for us, which is not only thoughtful, but right on the money with my sweet tooth! Our family and friends have not stopped talking about how wonderful Jen, Marilee and Andrea were--this is further confirmation that we hit the vendor jackpot! As my husband and I start a new chapter in our lives, we hope J. Fiereck will be there to capture more special moments. Look no further!

She has an eye for beauty and creativity. She and her team are amazing. They make you laugh and feel comfortable in front of the camera. We never knew they were at the reception although we have lots of pictures to prove that they were. There wasn't a camera in your face, yet they captured great shots. Amazing, amazing, amazing! I never had a problem reaching or communicating with Jen and the package pricing is fair and reasonable, but she shoots better photos than other wedding photographers, which is why we chose J. Fiereck Photography. She knows what she is doing and this makes it easy for the bride and groom as it is one less thing to worry about. And, you receive your photos within 6 weeks after your wedding. We couldn't be any happier that we chose J. Fiereck to capture such an important and beautiful day in our lives.

s will be the only thing that last forever. So brides I recommend putting as much research into your photographer as you do anything else in your wedding!! That said my husband and I did alot of research and met with at least 10 different photographers. When I left the initial meeting with Jennifer Fierick I literally had butterflies in my stomache and told my husband we had found the one!!! lol Chemistry between a couple and thier wedding photographer is very important, it's not something you can fake and this is the one person you will be spending your whole wedding day with...well besides your future spouse lol. Jennifer makes you so at ease with the camera and lets the couple be themselves not try to conform you to what pictures YOU SHOULD have. She has a quite unobtrusive demeanor bur dont let that fool you she's constantly thinking "Hey what could we do next?" She has a particular eye for intersting angles and light which lends itself to amazing pictures of you special day. I had very specific ideas of some things that I wanted and she ran with it and gave us feedback with some of her ideas. Her albums and products are second to none. They are beautiful and stunning and unique to all the other cookie cutter albums out there and yes people you want an album not just a drive with photos on them!!! She was awesome at my wedding very attentive and helpful with the bride and groom and the wedding party and she did all this without us even realizing she was even there. After the wedding she helped us out a great deal with putting together our album as well. I am a freelance artist in my nonprofessinal life so I have high expectations when it comes to visual products and design. Jennifer went above and beyond those expectations. She was open to my whacky ideas evn when it came to the engagement photo shoot....PS we are the couple on her blog the went to NYC for our engagement pictures. Like I said she is up for anything and has the talent to back it up. I would recommend Jennifer Fierick to any bride who wants her day to be remembered by beautiful artistic photography!!!!We fell in love with Jen and I am sure you will too!!!

t she was down to earth, genuine and put me totally at ease - something that was really important to me since I've always hated having my picture taken! After seeing her work online and in person there was no doubt she was the right fit for us after meeting her. We were not looking for engagement photos, but I'm so happy we went ahead and did them (included in our package) because it really got us comfortable for the big day. Our pictures came out beautiful, and also included in our package was a guest book with our photos for our wedding day. She also includes a site visit to your wedding location, which was so helpful to have a plan of where we wanted photos taken throughout the day. Just so much hands-on time really made such a difference for everything to run smooth on the big day. We had made lots of plans for outdoor photos, and of course it poured the whole morning/afternoon of our wedding day (a tornado even touched down in town) but she did a great job with the indoor photos - in fact, I like them so much, I'm glad now that we got to take them there as well. She was such a trooper, as soon as the rain started to lighten up, she loaded us all up in her SUV and we took photos down on the dock where we had planned -and she was right the photos came out beautiful with an overcast sky. As the rain started and the girls went back inside, she still stayed out with the guys to take some photos in another great location. Our photos are so beautiful, I was in awe when I saw them all, and with how quickly we received them. She literally captured everything I didn't want to forget, and so many things I didn't see. Our wedding albums also came out beautiful. Jennifer was so professional and just so easy to work with throughout the whole process, I definitely know I made the best choice, and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone else looking. We were very happy customers :)

decision at all! She is so professional and really looks out for what the couple wants for their photos. The day of she is super calm and relaxed and the best person to have around on your big day. She did such an amazing job on my photos! I would highly recommend her.

re to work with. She mad us feel at ease as if the camera wasn't even there. Jen and her crew where extremely professional and experienced. I was very impressed. They also did a great job photographing the kids, our ring bearer and flower girl. Jen was able to keeping them smiling and having fun the whole time and we got some great pictures from it! Overall our photographs turned out amazing, could not have been happier and I would highly recommend J. Fiereck Photography in the future!

were! We have been so impressed with every aspect of working with Jen and her crew. Our wedding pictures are absolutely gorgeous; I haven't stopped looking at them since we got them back! Jen is a true professional, always timely with her work, and incredibly responsive. I couldn't have imagined another photographer by our side on that day.

scheduling various appointments, and was tremendously flexible!!!! My photo album would not have gotten done if it wasn't for Jen. I would describe Jen's style as modern romantic. As she was able to capture the romance of our wedding day in a way that incorporated old charm with new technique (and tools of course). Jen is a true artist.

d I LOVE our photos and will happily cherish them forever. Jen and her team took a perfect variety of pictures. They captured every moment perfectly from the bridal party getting ready all the way to the reception. Jen has a great attention to detail. The whole team was enthusiastic and fun, which made it really easy for natural and happy pictures. Jen also took our engagement photos and compiled them into a guestbook for our wedding. It was great way to get to know and feel comfortable with Jen. She was on top of everything and kept us informed every step of the way. I would strongly recommend J. Fiereck Photography for capturing your special day!

but also kept it light and fun for us all. My pictures are so amazing! Overall really happy we decided to go with J. Fiereck. In my opinion, the photographer is the most important aspect of a wedding and after interviewing many of them and seeing her portfolio we absolutely had to go with J. Fiereck. Her prices compare to many photographers but her photos stand out as being the best. We also are very pleased with our engagement session. She has such great ideas for photo ops and really captured "love" in the photos. I highly recommend her services. You will not regret it.

and I couldn't be happier!

ding ceremony on her parent's boat anchored out on the Connecticut River at our favorite sunset spot. We had 12 guests on a 31' boat and space was limited. After emailing a couple photographers providing details of our plans, Jennifer responded quickly and was eager to find out more details of our plan. Just by one conversation over the phone, we knew instantly that Jennifer had a passion for creativity and she would be perfect for the job. Communication between Jennifer was superb. She always kept in contact and responded within 24 hours. Every step of the process leading up to the wedding day was painless and we knew exactly what to expect and when. She arrived at the boat dock on time and without any additional directions. We had the pleasure of getting to know Jennifer throughout the wedding ceremony. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperating that day and we had to wait until the rain clouds passed by, but it offered everyone a chance to socialize and have Jennifer capture some great candid moments. Everyone loved Jennifer's personality and she fit right in with the crowd. Jennifer had an extreme challenge trying to capture the moments of all the guests in such a small space, yet with her creative eye she managed to take amazing shots. When the wedding ceremony was over, we knew that Jennifer was excited to go back home to see the special moments she captured. We were shocked that within 3 weeks she had all the pictures ready for us to view. We met with Jennifer twice, once before and once after the wedding day. When we couldn't find time where our schedules aligned, she went out of her way to accommodate our schedule. We are extremely pleased with the services she provided and of course the photographs! Her passion for photography is very evident and we have no regrets hiring Jennifer Fiereck as our photographer. We recommend and commend her talent and professionalism. Thank you so much!

uring the most important moment of our life. When we looked at Jen's work samples online, we were so impressed. After meeting with her in person, we knew she was it! She was so professional and extremely down to earth. She made us feel so comfortable. Prior to the wedding, we did an engagement shoot in Wickham Park. Jen created a guest book for our wedding that included all of the pictures from the shoot. On our wedding day, Jen had two photographers with her. It was perfect considering we had a good size wedding party, so they got so many beautiful pictures of the girls and guys getting ready for the wedding. During the wedding, we never really noticed they were there- yet they captured so many great shots! A few weeks after our day, we received our online gallery. We were surprised to see almost 1,000 pictures and every single one was absolutely beautiful. From the flowers, to our shoes and wedding programs, they didn't miss a detail. We had a hard time choosing our wedding album considering we had so many to choose from. We are so thankful we chose J. Fiereck Photography to capture our wedding day! We now have so many beautiful memories to last us a lifetime. We highly recommend Jen and her team! They are the best!
