Best DJ in Houston! I got married November 2024 and it was the best day of my life. The DJ, Rich, was awesome! He played the BEST music and everything I asked for. J Kelly was great when we had our consultation with him and knew exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend this company for your wedding. It was the perfect night!!

J. Kelly Productions was the BEST choice for DJ. I talked to so many and felt most comfortable with Jacob as we ironed out details. DJ Alex did such an amazing job with the music. He really felt the vibes and even though he said he hasn’t really done bollywood music before he did a great job with knowing when to switch and crank it up!! His announcements weren’t too over the top and we couldn’t be happier.

DJ Alex did an AMAZING job at our NYE wedding. He followed our music generes for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and 100% executed once the dance floor opened. Not only was the music throughout the night perfect, but Alex’s MC skills were spot on. He was so polite and efficient when getting the guest’s attention and making the person talking feel very comfortable with the microphone. We cannot say enough good things about J. Kelly Productions! So much fun! The DJ and dancing were the highlight of our night. If I had one regret it would be that our wedding went by too fast. We added an extra hour to have more dancing, and it still felt like we could’ve kept partying we were having such a great time. Guess the saying is true, time flys when you’re having fun!!!

We had a multi-cultural wedding, and were honestly a little nervous as to how the DJ would be able to incorparate music from both sides of our group. We had a conversation with the DJ before the wedding, and he was able to put our mind at ease about how he would play a good mix of everything so all our guests could enjoy the night. It was so seemless from from one type of music to the next that the family members we thought weren't going to dance to certain types of music stayed on the floor throughout the night. Our DJ heard our vision and brought it to life, and for that we are SUPER happy and grateful that we had such an amazing time at our wedding!

The DJ and dancing was a big part of our dream wedding, but we know our family is normally super reserved. Our DJ did exactly as he said he was going to and was able to read the crowd and slowly get everyone out of their seats. By the end, everyone was dancing and enjoying themsleves. Even my grandma who never gets up and dances was on the dance floor!

We saw J. Kelly Productions DJ another friends wedding and knew we had to have them for our special day. The entire planning process was so easy and stress free, and our DJ was there with any suggestions we needed when would get stuck on choosing a certain song. We loved our experience with J. Kelly Productions as our wedding DJ! The owner Jacob is experienced and knowledgeable, and we felt very confident in our choice after our initial consult. The whole team was responsive and worked with us to make everything just as we were hoping. For the day of our wedding, DJ Gus was friendly and upbeat, and he kept people out on the dance floor all night!

We had Alex as our DJ and he was awesome! He understood the vibe, played all of our requested songs, and helped keep the show on the road. He was very helpful in our prep in offering song suggestions that we needed! I highly recommend!

Our DJ, Jacob from JK Productions, really added to the experience of our daughter’s wedding. I am the father (age 64) of the bride (age early 30’s). Jacob did an amazing job keeping everyone going all night long. He started off with some great ‘80s stuff that got everyone onto the floor, all generations. He kept it going, mixing in fun new stuff and then going back to classic rock and pop. He seemed to read the room and know when to shift to new stuff so that the partying parents and our friends could take a break to catch our breath and hit the bar. But the breaks never lasted long. Before I knew it, another great song came on, and we flooded back onto the dance floor again. I don’t think the bridal party and their friends ever took a break. Our DJ really added to our enjoyment of the night. It will be a night remembered as an amazing wedding with a great party attached.

Justin was AMAZING! I truly cannot recommend him enough. From start to finish, he executed his job to perfection. He was super easy to communicate with through email and phone. Jacob was awesome to work with! We had originally booked with another company that turned out to be not so great, and we knew from our first conversation with Jacob that he was going to be the best! Jacob Kelly was PHENOMENAL. One of the most frequent compliments we get on our wedding is the DJ. The ceremony and cocktail hour was absolutely seamless. He gave me all types of suggestions for each song and it helped tremendously! He introduced everyone with a ton of energy and ensured every detail of all the dances, speeches, and cake cutting was announced properly. He made sure everyone was engaged! If I had to give my DJ a score of 1-10 it would be 1000!!! The music, the fun remixes, the energy in the room was beyond words. We didn't want your basic wedding music, so we discussed this with our DJ and he was more than excited saying he had a bunch of fun remixes and different versions of popular songs to accommodate. It was awesome to hear the fresh takes on the songs that we all grew up to, and our guests enjoyed them as well. Thank you J. Kelly Productions for bringing our vision to life.

We had super high expectations for our DJ, and let's just say they far surpassed them. They had the dance floor going all night. People that i thought for sure wouldn't dance were even out there partying with me and my husband. We had been to a lot of weddings in the past year and saw how a bad DJ could ruin the entire wedding, so we were incredibly picky. We spoke with Jacob and he was just so friendly and easy going and more than willing to accommodate our request. After our conversation we knew they were the ones. So many great memories it would take too long to list them all here, but they were absolutely perfect.

Our wedding was perfect and the DJ was such an integral part of that. From our ceremony to providing music for our cocktail hour to helping with a microphone for our family member to play a song to the dancing they were on point the whole night. We cant say enough great things. The dance floor was the highlight for sure. The way he transitioned from one song to the next. It felt like a journey through sound, and we were waiting for what he would play next. So many memories thanks to them.

Hire them! We can only hope everyone had the same experience we did. The planning process was so great with them. Jacob was our DJ, and he took the time to help us with all the questions and concerns we had the months preceding our wedding. The day of our wedding was exactly as expected. Fun, High Energy, and Professional to the T. He even helped us fit in a special request for my grandparents who had there wedding anniversary that day. From start to finish can't say enough great things. Our wedding was simply magical, and the DJ was such a big part of it. We used them for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony was flawless. Our family hearing our vows was a big deal to us and our DJ provided an extra mic so we could be heard. The dance floor was packed the whole night and got so many compliments on the music and how much fun our friends were having.

I was really excited to get this vendor and work with them. But, closer to our wedding they were a little disorganized. It was difficult to contact them closer to our wedding, music was a bit choppy at some parts of the night, and they played the wrong song during the groomsmen entrance. Overall, great to work with, must have been a busy season for them.

I can’t say enough positives about how he kept the dance floor rocking all night! The uplighting, monogram, dancing on a cloud, and music was perfect. Highly recommend him!!!

We found J. Kelly through our wedding planner (shout out to Cmart Celebrations) and he was great to work with! Planning a Houston wedding from out of state during a pandemic was definitely challenging, but J. Kelly made the music part easy-peasy by being responsive to e-mails and great during phone meetings with us. He had wedding packages that also allowed flexibility in adjusting items so we got what we wanted and nothing we didn't need. We were even able to rent our photobooth through him which was one less extra vendor to worry about! We also loved the light bars that matched the music tempo instead of a conventional disco ball, it was especially a hit with the kids who were mesmerized by the changing colors. We gave him several songs that we wanted to play during different parts of the night (pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner etc.) and if a song didn't make it during that time frame, we heard it elsewhere during the night which was awesome. He was also a great Emcee and all microphones and speakers worked well from our outdoor patio ceremony to our indoor reception. We definitely recommend J. Kelly for any special events!

DJ Al from J.Kelley Productions did an amazing job at our wedding!! We got so many compliments from guests about the music and several people in our wedding party said it was the most fun they have had at a reception! DJ Al was great at incorporating our song selections and also building on that to keep the party going for the whole night. He kept everyone on the dance floor until the end! I can’t recommend J. Kelly Productions enough for DJ services!!

Our DJ was pretty great overall! He read the crowd well and was great at communicating with us before the event. We did have a handful of songs on our "play" list that he did not play, but overall I would recommend them!

J. Kelly Productions DJ'd at my brother's wedding years ago, and I knew I didn't want anyone else to emcee my special day! We were so happy to have Jacob at the mic on our wedding day, he kept the ball rolling through all of our scheduled events and the dance floor was never empty! Jacob is down to earth and keeps things casual, yet upbeat and professional at the same time. Such a nice person and great to work with!

Jacob might be the best wedding DJ I've ever encountered. He kept our dance floor absolutely PACKED all night long and the best songs ever kept playing and keeping us all right there on the floor! Needs to update the music list that he played at my wedding. The songs that were played were not exactly the top 40 like one of his forms had as an option. And less arrogance.

Jacob was great from the start and we knew we wanted him as our DJ for a few years now! My SIL had Jacob at her wedding and he was, of course, stellar so we had high hopes when booking him for our wedding and he did not disappoint! He wanted to make sure we were 100% comfortable with him and he matched everything we had hoped and dreamed for our special day. We had a few phone calls and exchanged texts with a sample playlist so he could really get a good grasp of our vibe! Our guest danced until the very last second and we are so happy we picked Jacob as our DJ for our wedding!

We had DJ Al Boogie from J. Kelly Productions! He played all our songs and seamlessly was able to identify what songs to play and when. Absolutely amazing music choices. Everyone was dancing to every song! Best. DJ. Ever!

J. Kelly is the best DJ around! We had seen him at another wedding and instantly knew we wanted him at ours. I would highly recommend him to anyone that asks. He is willing to accommodate to whatever it is you need. He went above and beyond for us at our wedding as we needed help with some last minute things. He was very helpful always on time and very quick to respond when we reached out to him. It is very obvious that he loves what he does and the people he works with.

Jacob was great! With his creativity and the most amazing NBA announcer voice, Jacob introduced our bridal party with an unforgettable grand entrance to the Chicago Bulls walk out song. He went above and beyond by adding in his own quirks and jokes to the entrance and our guests absolutely loved it - it was perfect and was just what we needed to start our reception. Jacob listened to my husband and I’s requests; he played our “must haves” and did a great job listening and incorporating our style of music. He did a fantastic job of catering to our older crowd at the beginning of the evening and then to our younger crowd towards the end. He didn’t budge on our “do not play” list (which was greatly appreciated). We definitely recommend him! Thank you, Jacob!

We had such an amazing time! Everyone at our wedding said we had the BEST reception they had ever been to. The music was always something we could dance to, and Jake was awesome at keeping the vibe fun!! We are so thankful for him and the amazing job he did. Jacob was the absolute best. My husband and I attended a friend’s wedding where he was the DJ, and he was so good, that we asked for his card in the middle of the dance floor. You know how people regret spending money on certain items for their wedding? Jacob was worth every penny and then some. To provide more context, my husband and I set our wedding date during the height of the pandemic, which meant all plans were out the window. Jacob was understanding of this (change of date, change in venue, change of time, guest count, etc.), and made himself available the whole time. He was responsive and had empathy about our situation. We ended up moving our date to later in the year and when we called Jacob to pick planning back up, he was the vendor that made us confident that we would be able to plan a fun and safe wedding event. He is so professional and experienced that I was able to put my trust in him for not only music choices, but knowing the venue, recommending a timeline for wedding day, working with other vendors, and knowing the mood of the crowd. During our event, the venue details changed due to rainy weather, and Jacob and his team were able to adapt to the quick changes. The dance floor was NEVER empty, and we were worried at first about not having a “party” crowd! All night, we heard our guests say “this DJ is awesome!” I can’t recommend him enough.
