So Justyn is simply amazing! We hired Justyn for our March 13th wedding. Not only do our photos look amazing but just simply working with her was a blessing. She took all of our photography nervousness away and made it so freakin fun. My husband, who doesn’t normally like taking pictures loved working with Justyn. This is because she is so relaxed and fun while also providing instructions on how to get the perfect shot. Her photography is also so unique, I wanted photos with a lot of depth and emotion and she delivered. We plan to call JP lord photography back every year to perform our family shoots. If you want someone who knows what their doing while being personable and fun you gotta go with Justyn, she won’t disappoint!

Justyn shot our engagement photos and our wedding. She was absolutely incredible and so much fun! She not only has a way of capturing awesome photos but also brings such genuine emotion into each photo. Justyn was fully invested in every second of each of our shoots. She goes above and beyond. The guests at our wedding commented on her dedication. She was literally sitting on the ground in the rain to make sure she got the best angle possible. She’s a perfectionist. She doesn’t settle for half ass. Her photos really tell a story. She is unique and truly one of a kind. Justyn is the total package. I wish I could give more than 5 stars... there aren’t even enough stars in the sky to accurately rate the work and worth of this woman. Justyn makes you feel beautiful, but what I love most is how strong and free she makes you feel after a shoot. Even my husband (who hates taking lots of pictures) loves and looks forward to working with her because it’s always so much fun. We highly recommend Justyn!

Justyn is amazing!! She made everything feel so natural and easy and so much fun. She creates these awesome scenes and poses and then edits them into moody works of art. She also took our preferences and suggestions into account, making them work out even better than we expected. Her style is so much cooler than the norm. I first became obsessed with Justyn and her work when she shot my friend Amanda’s wedding back in 2016, I knew right then and there that when it was my turn to tie the knot, she was who I wanted. Let’s be honest, not many people enjoy ”forced” or “posed” pictures...there is NONE of that with Justyn as your photographer or as I call her - my magician! She is magic, pure magic, in every single way. She makes you feel beautiful, sexy, badass, makes you genuinely laugh & feel at ease - you don’t even know that you are “posing” for a picture. Can I keep Justyn forever? There are a ton of talented photographers out there, but you're not going to find one as fun as Justyn. Our wedding day was an adventure, to say the least. After a last minute venue change, we ended up getting married in a river bed at Pisgah National Forest. Justyn and her second-shooter Collette booted up and hopped in the river without a second thought. As the bridal party was transported back to the reception venue, Justyn and Collette led us in a comical series of poses. They were kind enough to transport us back to the other venue, and we had a great time blasting "Truth Hurts" by Lizzo on repeat. Back at the venue, Justyn and Collette did a wonderful job wrangling the cats that were the highly inebriated members of our bridal party. They were both calm, cool, and collected. Can we talk about the photos though?! They. Are. Gorgeous. Justyn had a blog of sneak peak photos posted a week after the wedding and our full album of 10000000000 photos was ready in 3 weeks. I really don't know which ones to get printed - they all have this wonderful moody quality and you can tell that each and every photo was edited with care. We couldn't have picked a better wedding photographer, hands down. Also, let me repeat - she is SO. FUN. Hire her. You won't regret it.

Photography is SO important to me and after my extensive research I wanted to hire no one else, but Justyn. Her images speak for themselves and are true works of art, but ON TOP OF THAT she's one awesome cool chick! From our Skype conversation, I immediately felt at home with no awkwardness, and just chatted like we were friends. Photography was my biggest priority when booking wedding vendors because once the wedding day is over, all that will be left are the memories and photographs. After speaking with Justyn for the first time and checking out her work, I was sold. Her photographs didn’t look staged or posed, they are pure art, raw emotion. Justyn did our engagement shoot and it was like we were just hanging out with our new best friend. She sent me at least 10 images from our shoot that same night! I was floored. We received so many more images than we thought we would from our engagement shoot. They brought me to tears and I could not wait for her to photograph our wedding. She even sent me a wedding magazine in the mail to help me during the planning process. She was able to provide me with recommendations for other wedding vendors and I took her word on all of them. She is so thoughtful and does everything she can to make your wedding day a dream. Now wedding day. Justyn was an absolute blast and kept us laughing and smiling the entire time. As an added bonus, she was able to wrangle our rowdy wedding party. She made everyone feel so comfortable and even made my husband enjoy being in front of the camera. She sent us so many sneak peaks before we even got settled into our hotel room that night. I was floored, again! While we were on our honeymoon she already had a slide show and a blog post up with tons of images. I watched the slideshow so many times, I could not wait to get our wedding album back. I’m very impatient, but that is not a problem if you have Justyn as your photographer. Her turnaround time is insane and every image is jaw-dropping. It was only a week or so after we got back from our honeymoon and she had already sent us our entire wedding album! Again, so many images I was speechless. Every image took me back to the most perfect day ever. Justyn is a phenomenal artist. She captured all of the happiness from our special day and I am so grateful to have found her. We will be booking Justyn for all of life’s special moments. Not just for her beautiful work, but also so we can have an excuse to hang out with her again!

Justyn is not just a photographer, she is an artist. Her ability to capture emotion is truly incredible. One of my friends described her work perfectly as "poetic." It can be difficult to sift through all the photographers and figure out who is actually experienced and professional, but Justyn is truly a rare gem in the wedding photography world- professional & experienced with a unique ability to make you feel comfortable and completely yourself in front of the camera. She is WELL WORTH the financial investment. Our wedding was at 4:30, which meant shooting first look and wedding party photos in super harsh sunlight. Justyn worked brilliantly with the harsh light and the rare shadows from clouds to create INCREDIBLE photos that somehow showcase the beauty of how bright our wedding day was! We will forever cherish our wedding and engagement photos!!!

Justyn was phenomenal from start to finish. Booking a photographer was our top priority for our wedding, and we looked at a ton but knew we wanted a specific aesthetic. Justyn's work blew us away. She was exactly what we wanted. And when we got to work with her for our engagement pictures, we had a blast. She made it so much fun for us to get the pictures done that we knew the wedding was going to go perfectly. Her candid approach gives her photos a very genuine touch which I think is hard to find. Holy cow, I have looked at our photos hundreds of times already and could not be happier. I honestly could not recommend Justyn enough. She's truly a unique, fun, talented woman and it was a pleasure to work with her!

All I can say is INCREDIBLE. We had a very specific vision for our wedding and engagement photography and Justyn absolutely nailed it. In an area where bright and pastel-ridden imagery rules, we wanted modern, moody and funky and Justyn made it all come true. And we had an absolute blast doing it. She was communicative, flexible, generous with ideas and feedback as we tried to clumsily communicate our vision, but she pulled everything we wanted out of it and every single person who has seen our photos cannot stop talking about how gorgeous they are. Further, what I appreciated most, was her genuine approach to working with us -- so often in the process you feel "nickle and dimed" for every part of the planning. Her pricing is fair, her approach is unique and she's an all around joy to work with. Cannot recommend her enough!

There is no one else in the world I would have wanted taking my wedding pictures. Justyn is talented beyond belief and can make you look your most beautiful self. I love each and every photo she took and I’m obsessed with looking at them. I can not recommend her enough or give her higher praise.

My friend and I made an appointment to meet Justyn (her wedding a year later), but we were both so in love with her work/blog. So glad we met in person, bc she is a charmer! We both booked her that day! Justyn was amazing! We met Justyn through a friend who recommended her. She met when/where it was good for us and went over pricing, time, and her services. We had her for our engagement photos and our wedding photos. She makes you feel super comfortable and has cute ques to help ease you into taking photos (for some who are camera shy). On the wedding day she was on time and was ready to role! She was able to get all of our pictures that we wanted (I had quite a list). After choosing our venue, Justyn was the very first vendor we booked. I cannot explain how awesome she made our entire engagement season! She is so down to earth and really listens to what the couple wants out of photos. If you are looking for photos that invoke all the feelings you had on your wedding day, Justyn is your girl! Justyn is amazing! We had Justyn shoot our engagement and our wedding photos and we could not be happier! For our engagement shoot, we wanted someone who made us feel comfortable. I can not recommend Justyn enough. We first met while my best friend was meeting with her for her wedding back in 2017. Since then, she has remained my favorite vendor that I worked with during my wedding planning and has now become a friend. Justyn is AMAZING! I cannot say enough how about how easy she was to work with and how incredible the photos turned out. We booked Justyn for an engagement shoot- we've never done a photo shoot before, so we were a little nervous. Justyn made us feel so comfortable, and it was so easy to just walk around town and laugh together. She totally got the vibe I was going for, and we even recreated some of my favorite inspiration photos. I moved to Raleigh June 2017 and had to start planning a wedding within weeks of my arrival. The first check off (next to finding a venue) was to pick a photographer. After trolling social media and reading every possible review on the knot, I finally stumbled upon Justyn Lord. Not going to lie, the first thing that stuck out to me was the last name (ironically my last name now too.) After I rummaged through her gallery I decided her pictures were EVERYTHING I wanted in my future engagement/wedding photos. Intimate and romantic while also being playful and fun. I knew instantly she was the photographer for us! Justyn did a total of THREE different shoots for my husband and I. We still spend hours drooling over how amazing each photo turned out. ;) Not only are my husband and I extremely pleased, but every family member and friend have commented on how amazing our pictures turned out. I gave my full trust to Justyn and she blew my expectations out of the park. I would choose her all over again, any day!

Justyn is awesome! My husband HATES taking pictures and she made it so fun for him that he didn’t mind it at all. She is very quick to respond to texts/emails, as wel as getting your pictures edited and back to you. We will use her for any future pictures we need taken, for sure!!

Choosing my wedding photographer was a HUGE decision for me because, while the food will be eaten and the flowers will wilt, the pictures will last forever. I am most excited to share my review of Justyn because my husband and I actually found her on The Knot and Google based off of reviews and believe me, we took a step in choosing her since she is two hours away from my home. But there’s no higher quality. Justyn far exceeded any of our expectations. She helped my husband and I feel relaxed during all four of our pre-wedding and wedding photo sessions. She always knew exactly what I wanted without much guidance and was willing to travel to meet our hearts’ needs. You absolutely won’t regret the decision to choose her!
