I am Jeff. Let me tell you my story.
13 years ago I was not a wedding photographer, heck, I had only ever been in a couple of weddings at that time. 13 years ago I was right where you are, planning my wedding. We were counting down the days until April 18th 2009 - the date that I would marry the love of my life, and start a journey I could never have imagined. With our wedding date rapidly approaching the stress and excitement were both continuing to build. Just like you, we had been researching, planning, organizing and prioritizing every aspect of the day. The main thing we did not want was stress and worry on our wedding day. We especially didn’t want to have to worry about how those precious moments, and memories would be documented. We just knew we wanted beautiful images that were totally and completely US. It was at that very moment that wedding photography surpassed every other item on our list of all-things-wedding.
Then we found our perfect photographer-the photographer that would be perfect for our wedding day.
I cannot remember much of what was said at our wedding, or many of the exact details from that day, but I do remember one thing - how I felt on April 18th, 2009.
It is a day that I will cherish for a lifetime.
J.Richard Photography was born out of the idea of me wanting to give you that same peace of mind. Letting you feel the relief that you are getting a photographer that is passionate about his craft and takes pride in giving you images that are Timeless, Authentic, and Emotional. Images that will allow you to feel your day all over again.

y. On the initial phone call we go to know each other better and establish expectations on both ends. He worked with us on meeting our budget, and making sure we checked all of our boxes for things we wanted. We have a very hectic schedule and had to schedule things last minute for our engagement and bridal portraits and Jeff didn’t bat an eye. He got us worked in and had us laughing and having a great time the entire time. When our plans got changed last minute he was able to rework our package and didn’t get mad or treat us any differently or change up quality at all. The best part: OUR PICTURES ARE AMAZING.
