About this vendor
Most other agencies represent BANDS. We consider YOU our client, and our job is to get YOU the best talent in the style of music you prefer at the lowest price. We work with a wide variety of extremely talented bands! In addition I will develop a customized itinerary for the reception.

Valentine and the Knights was the best band we could have possibly picked for our wedding reception. They were incredibly accommodating even with time changes, and they helped make our event, as many of our guests said, one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to. It sounds cliched, but I can honestly say that Valentine and the Knights had everyone from our 80 year old relatives and loved ones to my 3 year old cousins and even the too-cool-for-school high school kids dancing. We absolutely LOVED Valentine & The Knights!!! They were professional, but super fun and had the dance floor packed all night. Everyone still talks about the party and how much fun the band was. Thank you so much for making everything run so smooth and effortless. Kim O. 12/10/16
Jeff was really great to work with and so personable. I had 2 daughters get married last summer and I needed affordability, professionalism and reliability. He was the first one I interviewed and I was so comfortable with him that I decided that I didn't need to look any further.
Our DJ was great! He showed up on time and kept me sane by keeping us on task all evening. I highly recommend this agency for your wedding. We had a great experience.
MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE PERSON I'VE EVER DEALT WITH!!! My fiancé called this so called dj when we were searching around for our wedding, not only did he sound entirely uninterested, but he didn't call him tI'll 2 weeks later to see if we chose him! This man then called my fiancé again today, after we have alreasy chosen another company and began to curse out my fiancé! It didn't even stop there, this man continued to text my fiancé and cuss him out more!!! I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone!
I hired this DJ company. At first they were very quick to respond to all my emails. We had a metting a couple months prior to the wedding to go over things. The day of the wedding we had hired them through the gigmasters website. They said all fees were included. Not only when they got to my venue (which they ran late to) were they extremely rude, they also charges us an additional $50 and would not give us a receipt. They were not ready for the entrance and when we went in was the only part they had music for. They didn't play the must play list they said they would play first until around 10 that night after a lot of people had left. They never got up and did anything the whole time when we were there but when they went out to smoke and talk to their girlfriend that had apparently showed up. They never introduced the parents like we went over in emails and paperwork. When they were asked to cue music they would never play it and would act like they were not paying attention. Once again I was the bride and they were not only extremely rude to me and the groom who were more than easy to work with, they also were extremely rude to the venue staff and my guests. We have tried to contact this company regarding problems and they will not return calls or provide us with receipts for anything. They were the biggest mistake of my wedding day as this was causing some guests to leave. Even if you are trying to find something cheaper you might as well spend more and get somebody who is worthy of this job and will provide you better service.
We chose J Todd because a friend recommended them. The communication before the wedding wasn't the best, at times it took the owner a while to respond, but on the day of, our DJ was awesome. He did a great job of keeping the reception flowing and did everything we asked. He was also very attentive, making sure we had drinks and we didn't need anything else. We had a blast!
I submitted a very lengthy list of specific songs I wanted played at the reception. He got them all in! Set up great lighting and catered the whole thing to what we had asked for.
I have to say at first I was a little hesistant at first. J Todd Music Agency just so happened to call me when I needed to find the DJ for our wedding. I had never heard of them before, but I agreed to meet with them to discuss it further. They work with multiple DJs and bands. We just wanted a DJ.
They were reasonably priced and I could tell they actually cared about my wedding and providing a DJ who was a wedding professional.
Donald Bush ended up being our DJ and he did a phenomenal job. He called just a few days before the wedding to go over last minute plans. I already had sent in an itinerary form they had me fill out with every last song I requested.
From opening our bottle of champagne, getting us drinks as we first arrived, to playing slower non-requested songs when I needed to go to the bathroom, Donald went above and beyond! Our guests danced for 6 hours straight. 8 hours of entertainment!
My husband and I had a blast dancing the night away. Thank you J Todd Music Agency for not disappointing me!
The DJ was great and very attentive, but it was sometimes difficult to get an email response from the head of the company. The DJ, Donald, was awesome and really kept the party going. The price was right and the service was excellent. He didn't play anything that we didn't want and played everything we asked him to.
We booked our DJ through jtoddmusic. Jeff went out of his way to make sure all was as the bride wanted. The service exceeded our expectations for the $$ charged. Our DJ (Chris) kept the dinner, bar and party rockin the entire night. Everyone had such a great time. Would highly recommend Jeff and his services. He even checks in on his DJ's and Clients to ensure everything is going well. Wonderful service.
J Todd/Jeff Todd Music...wow. Let me just say I've never experienced a more unprepared "professional". Brides, DO NOT use this guy. Let me count the ways. #1. Who uses live streaming to play music?? It's unreliable and unpredictable. So, needless to say about every other song skipped, one song cut off mid song with a screechy cutoff noise (btw this was during one of the important dances with the bride), and a few others ended up being completely different from the description. #2. He calls the bride several times during the rehearsal dinner because he is still confused on what he is doing. #3. He waits until THE RECEPTION to let them know he doesn't have their first dance song...so they had to just dance to some random song that they didn't even pick as their song. Someone offered to use their ipod for the song but he didn't have equipment to handle that. #4 Can we say, repeat. At least 5 songs were repeated throughout the night...including the mother and son dance song. #5 He only played old stuff, which is fine if the crowd fits, but it wasn't even music the married couple requested! BTW the couple are in their 20s #6 I found it interesting that when enough wedding guest started complaining about it being crappy music, someone suggested Lady Gaga, so instead of just taking a hint and getting some from the genre suggested he proceeded to play all of her songs back to back lol, like at least 5 Gaga songs in a row, fun but silly. #7 Two songs got random fog machine action, really? I didn't know fog machines where still "cool" lol. #8 are you still reading? The bride was in tears, let that be a warning to you! #9 The music was really quiet for the main dance songs, and whenever he used his mic to talk to the guests, you couldn't understand what he was saying. Finally #10 when the bride talked to him about cutting the price or something since he pretty much ruined her reception, he proceeded to argue and yell at her...Stay classy J Todd!
When my fiance and I hired J Todd for our reception, he told us that we would meet a few weeks before the ceremony and that he would be able to find our "obscure" music requests. Two weeks before the wedding, I asked him when he was available to meet. He told me that he didn't need to meet with us and asked that I send the info sheets back. The week of the wedding, he called me confused about who the maid of honor was. Even after I told him, he repeatedly asked who the maid of honor was. He called me the day before the wedding telling me he couldn't find the music we had asked for. I had sent him a list of what album the songs could be found on, and he never bothered to open the attachment. So, while he was asking me these questions, I told him that all of the answers were in that attachment. He never even found our first dance song. He then proceeded to blame me for getting all of the music wrong.
Jeff Todd is old fashioned so he fit in well with our style and families. He created a great atmosphere and he was so much fun! He made everyone feel comfortable and he was careful to cater to our wants and needs. Jeff was incredibly professional and I felt he went above and beyond. He negotiated his price for me and made it clear that my business was what mattered most. He was so personable...he even came outside to hug and congratulate us before we left for the evening! What a great guy!;Just be clear about what you want and don't want. That is all. :)
he was there on time;he told us that all the music we wanted to play at our wedding he couldn't find and asked if we could make him cd's which we did and had him knock down the price so basically we paid to use his equipment and play the songs for us
