him to play because we’d seen his work and trusted his eye; it was absolutely the best decision! We have some incredible candid shots where I swear I didn’t even realize he was there and our more staged photos were comfortable, clearly directed, and turned out beautifully. If your budget can accommodate it: DO THE MORNING AFTER! Our wedding was great but the photos I’ve looked back on most in two years? It’s the photos of my husband and I the next morning. I was worried those more private moments would be awkward to have someone photograph but Jack made it so natural and captured how relaxed and easy and in love we were after the insanity of the wedding. They are so special to us. Jack’s work is beautiful and, looking back, his energy was so good to have that weekend. Cannot recommend him enough!

able to look back on the day. Jack took every request we had to heart, and made sure not only my husband and I, but the entire wedding party felt comfortable. He was incredible to work with and has an infectious passion for what he does. During the ceremony he was very discreet, but made sure to capture every important moment. He took the time to familiarize himself with our venue, so he knew where to be in order to get the best angel and level for each shot. We were absolutely thrilled with our photos and video compilation he did for us. I can't recommend him enough.

Hey there! My name's Jack Anthony. I'm a photographer and filmmaker with a flair for the dramatic, emotional, and editorial. Weddings are that perfect creative blend for me that I love to work in. With home bases both in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina and Brooklyn, New York, I travel internationally for work in weddings, editorial portraiture, and the film industry. No location is too remote or far for work! I created Jack Anthony Studio, LLC to have a physical studio location in downtown Asheville to house my work, and a place to call home while travelling doing what I love.
