Growing up in Jupiter, I followed Jack Bates' photography page and dreamed of having him as my wedding photographer & videographer long before I was engaged! Flash forward, and I ...
am thankful to say this became a reality. We can’t thank Jack and his team enough for capturing our rehearsal dinner and wedding. From the very beginning, their attention to every detail was extraordinary. Jack has a skillful eye, not just for capturing love and emotion but also for framing the landscape & colors you are immersed in the most stunning way. They have the perfect balance between professionalism and fun, keeping things calm and creative, especially on a day that can be overwhelming. They went the extra mile to ensure we looked immaculate in every shot- from fluffing my dress and veil to adjusting bow ties. And of course, Jack’s legendary veil shots are epic. Their use of cinematic videography was incredible and spot on, allowing us to relive & feel all of the day's emotions and highlights again.
If you’re looking for an inventive photographer/videographer who brings both skillful art and a great, comfortable vibe, Jack is the one!

every photo I wanted captured and so many more! I can’t begin to say enough great things about Jack and his team. They are a dream to work with. Jack makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. He’s incredibly professional, kind, creative and wildly talented. We will forever cherish our beautiful photos.
I’ve lived and vacationed in and around Jupiter for 10+ years and I’ve seen Jack’s artwork around town. He has an amazing eye and skill for editing. When I hired him for our weddin...
g, he was by far the most expensive photographer we interviewed but it was well worth it. We are obsessed with our photos from our wedding. He was so down to go anywhere to take photos with us. It made our wedding day feel spontaneous and adventurous shooting with Jack. We had so much fun! He got our photos back to us pretty quickly and had over 700 edited shots. There are a few shots that his assistant took during the ceremony where Jack totally jumped over the pool in my parent’s back yard to get the I do and kiss shots. It was amazing he actually parkoured across the backyard to get in the perfect spot and I never even noticed it until I saw the action shots. HAHA He delivered beyond expectation and I would definitely hire him again!! Thanks Jack for taking such good care of us on our wedding day!!
Jack Bate's skills are UNMATCHED, he's simply the best-in-class when it comes to photography and videography. His assistant Kelly is amazing too, an absolute sweetheart. Our engage...
ment pictures look straight out of a magazine, I can only imagine how beautiful our wedding photos will come out. Jack and his assistant Kelly made my Fiancé and I feel really comfortable and natural. They knew what worked and what didn't work, and were able to direct us properly. The quality of these photos are unreal. Overall, I would give him an 11/10. I wish Jack lived closer so he could photograph all of our milestones. YOU WON'T GO WRONG.

around time was about a month so I was frustrated that it took longer and when I had to try to contact him on multiple occasions to get a date of when I received them, it took a long time for him to respond. My husband and I had a rap battle and unfortunately he didn't send me any photos of that which was disappointing. He has great reviews and beautiful photos but I was not totally satisfied.
Jack is simply incredible. The work he produces is without question the best. Cannot recommend hiring him enough, he made our wedding perfect.

eople. He was always so professional, but also kept things lighthearted and made us laugh. He just knows what looks good and what doesn't and reminds you to hold your bouquet a certain way or to touch foreheads that during the shoot you may think to yourself "this feels weird," and you get the picture back and it looks amazing! Plus, he told me to spin around in my dress multiple times- which if you have a long flowy dress, I would definitely recommend! I just can't say enough good things about our experience and I'm looking forward to seeing all of the shots from our wedding!

truly an artist when it comes to photographing, his vision and passion shows in his work. He was professional and timely, he captured every moment and more beautifully. I could not recommend him enough, everyone spoke very highly of his work and the pictures are perfect. It was one of the best choices we made to hire Jack as the photographer!

er with our wedding photos. They are truly beautiful and we feel so lucky to have booked Jack and his team as our photographers! Not only are the pictures amazing, but Jack was so easy to work with during planning and during the wedding (we were from out of town). They did not get in the way of any of the ceremony of reception events, but managed to still get perfect pictures! Also, they did not make us feel awkward by making us do weird poses or rushing us or taking too long. I cannot recommend Jack Bates Photography enough!!
Jack was a blessing to work with. His communication was always open and he was easy to talk to. Whenever we had questions, he addressed them immediately. He started his photography...
the morning of and he was decked out in every piece of equipment you could imagine. He knew exactly when a shot was perfect and would not stop until he got that perfect picture. Every photo he took captured all of the emotions surrounding our big day. I told him exactly what we wanted our pictures to portray and he nailed it. The turnaround time was exceptional and we received our pictures in less than a month after our wedding. He delivered the pictures to us through the mail with a heartfelt note and in a gorgeous case. The pictures are ours to keep on a little usb drive. No extra fees for rights. He is the BEST. If you can't tell by his website or his testimonials then you may just have to try him out for yourself. Thanks again, Jack for such a phenomenal job!! (I know this review is a little delayed but I just got some pictures blown up on canvas and wanted to make sure I showed my appreciation for Jack's hard work!)

test friends but because he takes the most amazing photographs out of any photographer I know. He truly has a gift.
As a girl who is camera shy, he made our engagement photo shoot completely relaxed. And when we got the proofs -- I mean WOW! They were hands down the best photos of both my fiance and I. These photos were magazine quality, mouth-dropping, scream cause you can't believe how gorgeous they are WOW kind of photos.
I would definitely say to the bride who is looking for a photographer to go no further. Jack is the best hands down without competition. His prices are actually less expensive than most and his quality is far superior. If he's a little over your budget -- splurge for his work. I'm serious. You'll have these photos forever and his quality is worth the money.
Jack Bates IS Jupiter Florida. The laid-back, surfer-dude, Florida native impressed the hell out of my fiance and I with his artistic and natural approach to wedding photography.
...
For our engagement shoot he spent a few hours with us taking us to just about every interesting type of natural backdrop that Jupiter has to offer: beach rocks, sea oat fields, banyan tree forests, etc. There's no surprise that our photos turned out great! In addition to being a master of natural light photography, Jack had a knack for putting my fiance and I at ease to make for more natural looking smile. We look like sexy beasts in our engagement photos and I'd like to give Jack Bates some credit for that :) My fiance and I will definitely be hiring him for our Wedding in December!

aphy. I had a good feeling about his skills based on what I had seen on his website and social media. He has a love of the ocean and nature, which I knew would work out perfectly with our tastes. He was so easy to work with on the day of the wedding. He was all over the place trying to capture as much as possible. When we received our pictures we were blown away! The personalized USB drive came in a beautiful little case which also included a photo montage to music, which brought me to tears. Jack also went above and beyond by surprising us with a metal print of one of our favorite pictures. I would totally book Jack again, in a heartbeat.

odated them all with ease and professionalism, and was able to kick them up a notch to such a level of uniqueness. His work says it all. Every single person that walks into my house immediately gasps at my engagement photos and how absolutely beautiful they are. He went above and beyond and I would definitely use him again and refer him to all of my friends.

ographs. I explained to him what I had pictured in my head and he knew the perfect location. I was a little nervous about having professional photos done, but Jack was able to bring my shy husband out of his shell, make us both feel comfortable and capture us and our love with photos we will cherish forever. He gave us exactly what we envisioned: gorgeous, high-quality photos in an artistic style of the real us with some posed portraits and details. What I love most about our photos is Jack's natural ability to not only capture our love story in the photos, but the beauty of everything around us as well. Jack was very prompt in having our photos delivered to us with a sneak peek the very next day, and all edited photos two weeks following. We will recommend Jack Bates Photography to all of our friends and family, and will be using him for all of our milestones in the future!
