nds are what I call 'lounge' bands - these guys are most definitely not. The music quality is second to none and their ability to keep the dance floor packed was simply awesome. They even embraced my 4 year old grandson who brought along his toy saxophone to 'play with the band' - from the guitarist getting on one knee out on the floor with him to the vocalist putting a microphone to his little sax while the alto player did an awesome solo - these are memories we will always have. understood the vision we had for our wedding, to get to know my husband and I, and to get a feel for the songs that might work best to keep our guests entertained all night long. Jack gave us so many tips on logistics and planning to make sure that we wouldn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day. We had a pianist play during our ceremony, a guitarist play at our cocktail hour, Jack MC the evening, and the entire band play during the reception. My husband and I kept looking at each other while we were dancing and saying to each other - "wow this is going better than we could have ever imagined". I can't say how many compliments we got from "that was the best band I've ever seen at a wedding" to "your wedding was the most fun one I've ever attended". That is all thanks to the Jack Garrett band. The dance floor was packed all night! I wish we could have another wedding just to have them play - we will definitely be recommending them to any friends or family looking for a wedding band!

am a pretty sophisticated listener and my daughter and future son in law, and the rest of the family are really into music and everyone had an idea-let me tell you, these guys blew the roof off the place, or literally the tent at the Taft Museum off its poles! This band is tighter than Steely Dan on a good night-the guitar player (I am one too) is just ridiculously talented, the horns rival the Tower of Power horn section. They will straight up blow you away. I had a number of people say to me after the wedding--this was the most fun, most musical wedding I have ever been to-and it was because of the excellence and musicianship of the band and Jack. Thanks again, all of you, from the bottom of my heart!

We are still hearing from guests that the highlight of the reception was the excellent music. Jack is easy to work with. He met w the bride and groom ahead of time and the evening was flawless. No way would a DJ have offered the same feel to the reception. You can skip the gimmicks of photo booths, cookie tables and candy bars -- no one will miss that stuff or remember you had it - but your guests WILL remember you had this band! Worth every penny! Also if you look at the band's website the people in the pictures and the music you hear are the actual band members that will be at your event --- everyone is a full time member of the band.

could tell we were in for a great night. Jack was solely focused on making sure our night was going to be the best it could possibly be, and was focused on maximizing every minute we had. Our meeting touched on all aspects of the night, and focused on details we never would have thought of. Jack was extremely transparent on everything discussed, and was genuine with his suggestions. Jack is certainly a pro at throwing a great party, and it showed. As far as the actual reception went, I would truly have to say it exceeded every expectation, and they were high after how good our initial meetings were. The music selection process was fantastic, and it showed at our reception. People were up dancing earlier than we had even planned for that aspect to start. The band members were fantastic musicians and played really well together. Our wedding guests were primarily 27-33 year olds as well as a large chunk of our extended family and older family friends. Jack's band had the entire party on the dance floor from beginning to end. It was incredible to see how many people enjoyed the live music. I can't thank Jack and his band enough for our night, and would most certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a great party.

Jack was super to work with. He met with us in person then followed up with phone calls making sure he knew us and what type of music we would be expecting at the reception. Jack also MC'd the reception. With his years of experience with wedding receptions it was nice to have the help with the flow of the evening. We contacted Jack and we hired the 7 piece ensemble for the reception in Dayton, OH. Jack came to Dayton to see the historical venue and to meet with the site's event coordinator. Jack was very helpful in suggesting arranging the band for the cocktail hour and reception in the unique setting. The music flowed from the cocktail hour on the patio through the last dance. everyone’s expectations by a long shot. These are professional musicians not some weekend players. We booked the full 12 pieces with the horn section and were just blown away the entire night, and the dance floor was full until the very end. I still have people coming up to me saying how amazing the band was. Jack was easy to work with, helped plan out the flow of the evening and was always available for questions. Book the Jack Garrett Band now, you will not be disappointed!

twice at the venue prior to the wedding. He listened to what our children wanted and made suggestions where needed. He guided us through the whole planning process. The evening of the reception was flawless. Our guests danced the night away and are still talking about how great Jack and the entire band was. I highly recommend the Jack Garrett Band!!!

and wedding details. These calls helped to take the stress away of wedding planning and timeline details. During the wedding, Jack really knew how to get people on the dance floor. People started dancing even before dinner was served and never left the dance floor! The band was amazing and both singers were right on point. Jack kept the reception moving along with the toasts, first dances, and bouquet and garter tosses. I would hire Jack Garrett again in a heartbeat!
