Let me guess: you're looking for a wedding photographer who can tell your story in a unique way while avoiding awkward poses and fitting into your day like one of the guests. You're not looking for cookie-cutter images (or shall I say biscuit-cutter?) because you ain't no cookie or biscuit. You're a blimmin' fun human who wants an jaw dropping documentary and cool pieces of art to represent your special kind of love.
I want to create the pictures that YOU want,
I want to work with people that are playful and have a sense of humour. Perhaps they’re a bit quirky, but they are definitely down for creating something that feels fresh. I want to create the pictures that my clients want, full of real emotion and flipping cool. Think that might be you?

For my own wedding, I wanted to feel like my photographer was a friend —
So it was important that we got to know our photographer. (She ended up staying with us for the weekend and we've been friends ever since). I know what it's like to plan your own wedding from absolute scratch, so I want to offer not just my photography skills but share my experience of planning my own wedding and consulting on hundreds more! I understand what it's like to be overwhelmed by schedules and timelines that aren't going to plan and “what if it rains and what if the light is bad…” etc etc. I have been in so many different tricky situations and come out the other side having created a wonderful body of work and offered what I think is pretty great experience.

Jack’s eye is unfounded - he captured moments we wouldn’t have thought to get throughout our wedding day and made us both feel so at ease in front of the lens, which is a feat as neither of us like to be in the spotlight. Jack also made our day feel so relaxed, we never felt any pressure for getting “the shot”, yet he provided the most incredible photos of us and friends and family. Do not hesitate to book with him, you will absolutely not regret it! enue (shout out to the Jam Handy), he was flexible when we requested his services with an additional wedding ceremony, and during our events, he served as our time keeper/hype man/overall helper. Oh and our photos were absolutely stellar. From our engagement shoot to our wedding weekend, he made us comfortable behind the camera, capturing genuine moments with expert artistry. We were lucky enough to get married at the Detroit Institute of Arts, and he made sure to come to our rehearsal to scope out areas that would work well for the following day. We had so many friends and family who commented on how amazing he was, in personality and photographic genius. We were all in awe of how he captured our emotions, in a way that brought us back to that weekend. Our out-of-state friends were talking about how they would love to hire him someday. We had an initial zoom meeting, an engagement photo shoot in Detroit in May, and then our wedding in August. Jack was professional, responsive, positive, has a great sense of humor, and was great to work with through all of this.
My wife and I aren't accustomed to photography, and Jack did a great job of bringing out the best in us in both the engagement and wedding shoots. He works quick, made us laugh, and was able to find some really interesting, creative, and beautiful shots in places I would never have expected. I was very impressed with how quickly he got our engagement photos back to us, and even more impressed with the two-day turnaround on our wedding preview photos. Can't wait to see the moments he captured throughout the night.
All in all, Jack was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the wedding process, and especially on the day of our wedding, and I recommend him highly.

is an absolute professional with the confidence and demeanor to command even the most rambunctious wedding parties.
his eye is truely special and was described by our MC as a "guerrilla photographer" for his ability to blend into the dance floor (even at 6'7) and get some incredible shots.
the height also is great for the angles you need and if more height than that is called for he is also a great drone pilot and able to take some awesome shots from above.
at the end of the day, you want quality - kind hearted people at your wedding and most importantly, Jack fits that bill.

We had to change our plans so many times due to the pandemic, and Jack was there through it all and communicated frequently to make sure it was perfect for us. He worked through our timeline, gave us creative direction and listed to our ideas. He made me and my husband feel really comfortable (when we hate being in front of the camera) and captured every moment of our perfect day. He spent time before our wedding day scouting our spots for us so he knew what to do when we got there for our actual photos. ld him we hadn't had any grandiose ideas for our engagement pictures and just wanted to shoot them at our house and in our backyard. He was able to do such an impressive job with such a small idea - it was natural, romantic, and fun. It also rained on our wedding day which was supposed to be outside. Even though the rain came, our pictures didn't have a blemish. Jack was prepared to get as many shots outside as we could, he was improvisational when needed, and he was able to get all the family shots we wanted as well as many shots of everyone in the moment.
