whole vibe of the reception sets around the DJ, and it was absolutely perfect! The young people, and the young people at heart ALL had a blast! The dance floor was packed at all times , and even the staff got in on the fun! Fabulous DJ to work with, and one of the guest at the wedding has already gotten in touch to get information to book for their daughter's wedding! Highly recommend!

Booth was great. Everyone loved the Photo Booth, the props even made it to the dance floor for a few songs. I wanted a little more MC’ing for the wedding reception but overall our wishes came to fruition.

ay to the end. It was easy to see that he is very good at what he does, but also is a true professional and cares alot about doing a great job. We were very lucky to have him be a part of our big day, and I highly recommend him to anyone who likes having a good time.

You have the ability to add songs that you must have, songs that are maybes, and songs that we did not want played. We ended up not requesting too many songs and trusted him to read the room and that was a great decision! He was so much fun, and all of the guests commented on how amazing he was! He was magnificent in his emcee duties for the first dances, speeches, cake cuttings, and the bridal bouquet toss and the garter toss. He made the entire evening flow beautifully. ave us an EPIC party! I was honestly not expecting to spend the wedding night on the dance floor, but ALL of our guests were having the most fun night of our lives celebrating together. It was classy when it needed to be classy and party when we were ready to party. They graciously accepted our custom remix song file for the Mother-Son dance, and I asked John to completely create the playlist beyond that. He blew it out of the water! John really worked his magic, and every one of our guests has told us how much FUN they had and complimented our DJ. Thank you Jack Magic!

nd the DJ spun great tunes! If you are having any reservations about having a photo booth at your reception do yourself a favor and get one! We feared our reception space was too small but Susie worked her magic and found a corner to put it in and it really did make for extra good times! Use the Gif feature more, have Susie show someone how to do it and you won't be disappointed :) Jack Magic's prices are budget friendly and Susie was great at staying in communication with me. Susie was always polite, timely and professional. I had questions and she had the answers. I would recommend Jack Magic entertainment to anyone who wants to keep their reception rolling and people on the dance floor!

l. Everything was so easy and the result was perfect. We are from NJ and hired everyone via TheKnot via email, it was so easy to pick our song selection on their website, and to make payments. They have a huge song selection list and they even were able to add ones that were not in their library. Susie and Jack are so friendly and helpful with every aspect. They took care of everything once the reception started from introductions, speeches and first dances. He could tell the vibe of everyone dancing and had great transitions from song to song. There was never a dull moment- the party just kept going! We were sad when it was over though! We also ordered a photo kiosk (A MUST!) that they provided and set up for us. It was so much fun and all the guests really enjoyed how easy and fun it was to use. It was also perfect for the limited space we were working with! Hire Jack Magic for your wedding or event and you will not be disappointed!

Their system for providing a song list and other information, such as the flow of the event and any speakers that were going to get up, made it super easy to communicate what we wanted at the event. On top of how easy it was to communicate between both parties, they are incredible at what they do. They provided quality entertainment all night and kept the energy on the dance floor high! I would definitely book them again!

Though my husbands family would've stayed on the dance floor no matter what (hahaha), he even got people who I would have never expected to come out of their shell, to dance...including me! He was so professional, SOOOOOO comfortable (he truly is a natural at what he does), a whole lot of fun and just all around more than I could have ever asked for. I have been to my fair share of weddings, and I can honestly say none of the DJ's were even close to as memorable as he was (and I'm not just saying that because it was OUR wedding hahaha). Even guests were coming up to tell me how fun he was and asking for his information. I will 100% promote his business in any way I can and will book with him for any future endeavors I plan to host. his wife Susie were kind and helpful! We met with them via Zoom to talk through what we needed for our wedding and they answered all our questions! They have a super easy online portal where you can choose all your songs (and red list songs!) and they are super accommodating via email if there are songs missing that you need! They did a fantastic job on the day of providing hours of entertainment for our guests! I would recommend Jack Magic Entertainment for weddings over and over again!

Our reception followed many Vietnamese traditions, they asked thoughtful questions to make sure that they understood what to expect. When it came to the days-of, They were ready to go and responsive to any questions and coordination before-hand, and otherwise completely out of our hair so we could deal with everything else. They're both very friendly and have a great attitude for dealing with things as they come. Their web site interface gets the job done and made it easy to give them the information. In terms of stage presence, I know that John has enough personality to fill the room, but he only lets that out when and where you ask for it, and really made sure that we were the focus of attention. We were also really happy with the quality of the sound in terms of volume and technical side of live audio mixing. John organized our rough list of songs into a really seamless playlist for the evening. We're really glad we chose to have Jack Magic at our wedding; we had a lot of fun and the night was over way before we knew it!

He is very professional and before the reception talked us through some of the timing like first dances, toasts, last song, etc - very knowledgeable on how to do a reception right. And Susie is one of the nicest people ever, she helped us navigate through all of COVID and postponing, was quick to respond to all my emails, and was really helpful and easy to communicate, especially since we were out of state and this was a destination wedding for us. Honestly for all the hard work they do, you can't beat the price. We are so happy we found them. John and Susie were incredibly easy to work with, made our night the absolute best and I highly recommend for anyone getting married in New Orleans!

We spoke the week of the wedding just to review everything and I was immediately at ease. essional and flexible. We had an extensive list of "must play" and "do not play" songs, and they did a great job of sticking to our playlist, but mixing it up just enough to make it exciting for us. He also nailed music for dinner even though we hadn't really discussed what we wanted for that - I think he's great at figuring out what works for your group! The timing and groupings of songs felt perfect, and he was great at talking when he needed to but simply playing music when it was right. He also let the ring bearer "DJ" and announce one song which was cute and made for a great photo opp. Highly recommend hiring them for your wedding!

Though it seemed I was never able to keep my timeline commitments, when she would follow up it was as if she was following up just to chat and to see how we were doing, and to date it feels like we are lifelong friends! The experience was truly amazing. John completely took the wheel and redefined WWJD for our wedding reception! He knew exactly when to hop on the mic, play a line dance, announce the dances and was sooo personal able and accommodating. At the wedding we had Black, White, Hispanic, young and older… How he knew when it was time to change gears so everyone would feel accommodated is beyond me. We are sooo glad we opted to go with John vs a band! Everyone danced their hearts out and are still talking about how much fun they had! I am not a paid spokes person. This is an actual honest review!

Instead of receiving a quote for the services I requested, I was first solicited for other services, and treated as if my original request was totally ignored. This process required several emails back and forth (most not answered promptly), which I had little time or patience for. My experience with Jack Magic Entertainment was entirely different!! I received a prompt response with the information I requested. From the very first email I knew I was in excellent hands!! Susie was friendly, extremely helpful and she responded to each of my subsequent emails promptly. I had a few personal setbacks during planning the wedding, and Susie was sympathetic and extremely patient with me. The day of the event, I arrived at the venue an hour early and was pleased to see that John was there, completely set up and ready to go. He and Susie were both very nicely dressed in attire appropriate for the occasion. There were last minute changes and additions to the time line made by myself and members of the bridal party which left me feeling more than a little anxious, but John was very accommodating and made me feel very much at ease. And from the time the music started until the very last song, John kept us dancing all night!! We had a blast and so did our guests!! Many thanks to both John and Susie!!
