Our team brings the kitchen to you - literally. Instead of serving food that’s been plated behind the scenes, your guests enjoy dishes that are cooked fresh, hot, and ready on-site. The result? Every bite tastes just as incredible as it would in a restaurant.
With seven distinct culinary brands, we craft one-of-a-kind dining experiences that match your story and style. Whether it’s the coastal charm of Nor’Eastah, the Latin flair of Papa Grande, the plant-based creativity of Gratefully Fed, or the indulgent comfort of The Big Ragu, we don’t just cater, we curate.
From signature cocktails poured from our Leaki Tiki mobile bar to late-night bites that keep the dance floor alive, we make sure your celebration feels effortless and personal from start to finish. Known for our playful presentation, bold flavors, and restaurant-quality service, Jackaloon Hospitality turns your wedding into an experience guests will talk about long after the last toast.
Here's a bit more about each of our brands:
Nor’Eastah: New England-inspired fare, from Faneuil Hall franks to cider donuts and lobster rolls that transport you straight to the coast. Big group? Try a clambake!
Papa Grande: Latin-inspired tacos, empanadas, and bold flavors that bring energy and color to your celebration.
Gratefully Fed: Creative, plant-based “stoner bites” that prove vegan food can be fun, flavorful, and indulgent.
The Big Ragu: Classic Italian comfort with a modern twist. Think wood-fired pizzas, rich pastas, and crowd-pleasing favorites.
Leaki Tiki: Our mobile bar experience serves up tropical cocktails and custom drink menus made for celebrating.
Saucehound: Slow-smoked BBQ and savory sides that satisfy every guest’s inner foodie. For large weddings, we also offer pig roasts.
Low Country Kin: Celebrating Lowcountry comfort with passed Southern favorites, rich savory stations, and sweet treats rooted in coastal tradition.

- Dan ArmbrusterOwner, Head ChefChef Dan Armbruster is a classically trained chef, educated at the French Culinary Institute, with over 25 years of experience in restaurant management and event catering. After culinary school, Chef Dan honed his craft under some of the industry’s most respected chefs and restaurateurs across many major culinary destinations, including New York City, Key West, the Virgin Islands, Newport, RI, Nantucket, and Boston. His background also includes time spent in food sales with a local sustainable food purveyor in Boston, an experience that deeply connected him to the region’s culinary pulse—its farmers, food trends, and discerning clientele. Chef Dan’s true passion lies in catering, where he refined his skills while working for Wolfgang Puck, executing everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale, high-profile events. Travel and cultural exploration have always shaped Chef Dan’s approach to food. Inspired by stories from his father, Papa Grande, he developed a deep appreciation for global cuisines at a young age. Growing up in New York City, he immersed himself in diverse neighborhoods, learning how ingredients, techniques, and traditions tell the story of each culture. He believes food is one of the most powerful ways to create memories and bring people together. For your wedding day, Chef Dan’s goal is simple: to deliver thoughtfully crafted, globally inspired dishes that feel personal, comforting, and memorable—allowing you and your guests to experience extraordinary flavors without ever leaving the celebration.

I don’t have enough good words to say about working with Dan and Tisha at Jackaloon Hospitality!
They catered my wedding back in November in Summerville and I had the best experi...
ence with them.
They were so incredibly sweet, trustworthy, professional and proficient throughout the whole process. It honestly felt like a breath of fresh air in a wedding/hospitality industry that can often feel like you’re being taken advantage of.
Not to mention that the food was DELICIOUS! Our guests were literally talking about it for weeks after the wedding and raved about it! Dan and Tisha were so accommodating in letting us curate a menu across their food brands that felt unique and personalized to us.
I’m from a Hispanic family - and food is very important to us, and my family literally said it was some of the best food they’ve had at a wedding ever. So high praise for sure!
Our menu consisted of a chimichurri steak, 2 types of empanadas, and 2 artisinal pizza flavors, coconut rice and plantains - and it was so so incredibly good.
My husband and I actually live in Nashville - so we had somewhat of a destination wedding in SC, but wish we were there more often so we could eat at the Papa Grande food truck whenever we wanted.
I wish I had photos to share of the food because your mouth would water - but unfortunately it doesn’t look like our photographer got any - but we HIGHLY recommend them for your wedding or any event you’re planning!
