We were so impressed by her work and talent that we asked her to do our engagement photos. The day of our shoot, it ended up raining! Without hesitation, Jackie embraced our decision to still go through with the rainy shoot, she went out of her way, and provided us clear bucket umbrellas, lent her extra time to travel to all our preferred locations and with ease created the most memorable day, and our photos turned out amazing! We are so beyond excited to have Jackie photograph our wedding. Our friends and family also use Jackie for all their special moments, as she has been referred to photograph many of our friends and family’s weddings and family photoshoots. I highly recommend using Jackie for all size weddings or events. You will be very pleased and have a ton of memorable photos to frame!

ant to you (even if she says she doesn’t need it!) and ask for direction…constantly, should i move my arm, is my hair ok, should i turn my head, should i smile, etc. Wedding photos are likely a once in a lifetime thing. I truly felt amazing and beautiful the day of my wedding unfortunately I was not so thrilled with my photos. I did ask prior to the wedding day if she wanted me to get a list together of photos but she said she had a basic list that she worked off of which was fine with me as I am not a terribly picky person, in hindsight I 100% should have made a list anyways. Not that I needed hundreds of incredible photos but for the thousands of dollars we spent I ended up with probably 20-30 photos I like, only 5-10 that I love. I certainly don’t claim to be an incredibly photogenic person but i am positive with a little more direction, tilt your head, move that piece of hair, move your arm, etc, almost every single picture could have come out a bit better. We got very few detail pictures, very few venue pictures even though our venue was incredible and missed quite a few posed photos. Even the candid photos missed the mark. Overall a majority of our our photos just have very little style to them nothing particularly creative about most of them, could have gotten similar from a relative with a good camera, not at all what we expected based on her portfolio/instagram photos and her price. While I certainly take partial blame for not being more specific or trying to think about posing more I think Jackie’s inexperience played a large role in our disappointment. Also, it takes her a few weeks to answer emails which is incredibly frustrating. I would not recommend her as a vendor for a medium to large wedding which is unfortunate because she is a very friendly person and I do believe she genuinely tried and does care about what she is doing she just isn’t at all what we were expecting or thought we were paying for. She/ her pictures seem to thrive a bit more in much smaller more intimate settings.

ral same sex weddings and describes herself as an ally and advocate. Her price, work, and talent make it all worth it. We would definitely use her again and have already suggested her to friends. A+ all around!
