Owned and operated by experienced artist Jacob Grant, they aim to tell the story of your special day in a relaxed, authentic, and organic way. Jacob of Jacob Grant Photography has studied as an artist for many years, and received his first camera at the age of 17. Ever since, he has been passionate about documenting the moments that make life special. He wants your images to be unique to you, and so he will work with you to find out what you’d most like to remember from your special day. To ensure each client receives their full attention, Jacob Grant Photography only books one event per day. They are willing to travel to multiple locations in order to capture your entire event, and can work additional hours if desired. As well as ceremonies and receptions, they can also photograph your engagement, the day after your wedding, a trash-the-dress session, and more. You may receive your high-resolution images in the form of digital files, printed enlargements, and wedding albums. Social media sharing is also available, making it easy to show your images to family and friends.

Jacob shot our pre-wedding photo shoot, and we had an absolute blast working with him. Neither my partner nor I are very comfortable in front of the camera, but the way Jacob led us made us feel like professionals. His creativity and expertise were apparent from the start, and he found some amazingly creative ways to get some beautiful shots. He is also one of the nicest people we have worked with, and super understanding of the things we wanted. I cannot recommend him enough, and have never been so excited to work with anyone else again in the future.

Working with Jacob was such a delight and I highly recommend him to others seeking a photographer! In perusing various galleries in search of a wedding photographer, I was immediately drawn to Jacob’s unique, artistic style and use of light in his images. While I can confirm that my partner and I were ecstatic with the gorgeous photos received from our wedding day, working with Jacob was a highlight in itself. His inviting and calm demeanor helped to ease our own nerves and, initially feeling a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera, his suggestions to allow for creating natural and intimate moments were very much appreciated. Our friends and family loved working with him as well! Additional notes: pricing is wildly affordable, contracting and communication was super easy, and we received the photos very quickly. Truly better than we could have hoped for!

Jacob made everyone feel so relaxed during photographs with his calm, genuine nature, worked with us every step of the way to develop a plan, and got our photos back to us so quickly. We loved our photos and would definitely recommend Jacob.

I hired Jacob because I loved the use of light in his portfolio. His work stood out among other portfolios. The experience was fantastic. He is super sweet. We got the photos back fast. NOT ONE BAD PHOTO! When I posted pictures on Social media everyone was writing in all caps “AMAZING” “PRINT THIS ONE OUT BIG!” “BEAUTIFUL” etc. All around a great experience. He also gave restaurant recommendations. Advice? Hire him. But also let him be the artist. Let him direct you and your guests for the best photos. If you have ideas he’s open. He is the best choice.

When I hired Jacob to photograph my proposal to my fiancée I was a tad apprehensive that we might lose out on a bit of intimacy in the moment. As it turned out, it was the complete opposite. We had our extremely intimate moment which was perfect. Follow by my fiancée noticing Jacob and then he congratulated us in a very excited manner which made us laugh. Not only did Jacob not take away from the intimacy of the moment he made it more fun and helped it last even longer by giving us fun ideas of poses to do and keeping us occupied. It was one of the best experiences of my life without a doubt.

We hired Jacob to take family photos while we were on vacation in Santa Barbara and were absolutely thrilled with the experience. He was a true professional from the very beginning. He provided quick responses to my many questions, offered suggestions for a lovely setting that met the specifics we were looking for, worked with our schedule, was prompt, and so comfortable to work with during the shoot. I loved his creative suggestions to capture our family's personality. His turn around time to send the edited photos was quick and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. I would absolutely hire him again in the future.

Jacob is an amazing photographer and an amazing person! Made everyone feel comfortable as well as capturing the biggest day of our lives! He made sure my wife and I were hydrated and whatever photos we wanted he would capture the moment! He is super professional, friendly and amazing at his job. I wish we could have him at every major event from now on! Communication was on point as we have been talking for a good 6 months before the wedding! I wish there was more stars to give because he deserves it! The photos are breath taking! Thank you so much Jacob! My wife and I are so happy you were there!
