Jacoby is simply the best. She has worked with several (maybe 5?) of my co-workers in the past, so before we started looking, we already had her in mind. Being very analytical, I did search far and wide to review other options, even interviewing/reviewing full albums from other photographers, however, even after all this, the decision was still very clearly Jacoby. We booked her literally the day she opened her books up for the year. Our first time chatting with her was very relaxed, warm, welcoming. I felt very comfortable talking to her about our vision and wants. I feel like she heard us. We initially planned for just wedding coverage, with 8 hours of coverage. However, leading up to the wedding, we decided that we additionally wanted to add on an engagement shoot (for memories, to see how my makeup trial would photograph, and to spend more time with Jacoby prior to the wedding). She ABSOLUTELY blew us away. From how fun our hour together was, to how easy posing using her cues/prompts was, to getting our photos back only EIGHT days after our shoot, everything was perfect. The photos, oh my god they were perfect! More than I could've ever imagined. Leading up to our wedding, she did an excellent job of communicating with us and with our wedding planner to come up with a perfect timeline, incorporating all the specific photos that we requested. Day of, Jacoby and her second photographer Nathan brought a light, playful, fun energy. They were able to be flexible when we inevitably fell off our initially planned timeline. They were ready to silently/secretly capture sweet/quiet/intimate moments but also easily commanded the room to capture formal portraits when time was limited, at times even dealing with very strong personalities in a very graceful way. She sent us a handful of photos only TWO days after the wedding, then a sneak peak album in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS, with our final gallery coming in ONLY THREE WEEKS after the wedding. The variety of photos we received was incredible. Two months after our wedding, and I still find myself peaking at them almost daily, feeling the same warmth, happiness, and love we did that day. I love that each picture tells a story and takes us right back to the moment. I will cherish these memories forever. I could not recommend Jacoby enough!

We worked with Jacoby for our engagement and wedding pictures, and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Jacoby Photo and Design was the PERFECT fit for our wedding day. Photography was one of our top priorities when selecting vendors, and Jacoby did not disappoint. We were lucky enough to work with Jacoby on our engagement photo shoot (which she nailed!), so we were already super comfortable with her by the time our wedding rolled around. I was drawn to her ability to capture organic moments throughout the day as opposed to super staged, posed photos. Yes, just yes. If you are looking for a photographer for any type of occasion you have found her. We were lucky enough to have Jacoby do both our engagement and wedding photos and she was an absolute dream to work with. Not to mention the photos were above and beyond my expectations and I am absolutely in love with them (which says a lot coming from someone who absolutely hates pictures of themselves). Jacoby was amazing!!! We got married at the end of May 2021. We had been planning the wedding during the height of the pandemic, so although we exchanged phones calls and emails, we never actually met Jacoby in person until our wedding day. When we did meet her, it felt like we'd worked with her 100 times before. I feel like my husband and I aren't always the most photogenic, but she captured the day wonderfully and managed to make us look amazing! Choosing your wedding photographer is a big choice. After all, for most people their wedding is the, or one of the, most important days of one’s life, and certainly the most photographed. My (now) husband and I deliberated long and hard on which photographer to go with, and ultimately landed wanting to go with Jacoby given she seemed (based on the photos we saw on her website/on the knot) to have a very unique talent for capturing very “raw” and “real” action shots that fully capture all the emotions and good stuff. And BOY are we happy we went with Jacoby as our wedding photographer! She was professional, helpful, and overall delightful to work with. We planned our wedding from afar so did not get to meet Jacoby in real life until the day of our wedding, though had an introductory phone call and another planning call a few weeks prior to the wedding (both of these calls further solidified our interest in Jacoby as she was clearly very organized and professional, and had a really nice, comfortable demeanor about her in these interactions). Working with Jacoby on the day of the wedding was a dream come true. She kept the schedule, and captured soo many magical moments. My husband and I were absolutely THRILLED with how our wedding photo album came out - when we sat down to look the photos together, i don’t think we stopped smiling for 2 hours as we looked through them all. The gallery is breathing taking, jaw dropping, just extraordinary! We were so blown away and “wow-ed” by them, and the photos made us feel we were re-living our favorite day ever. From the still frames to the action shots, we love our wedding photos even more than we imagined we would. From start to finish Jacoby is a DREAM photographer to work with. She was always timely in her communications and helped me with timeline issues when I wasn't loving what our planner was requesting. As a slightly nervous bride on the morning of she made me feel calm as we walked to do our first look. She sent us some sneak peeks soon after our wedding and I was blown away by how beautifully they captured our moment. We extended our time with Jacoby so she could really capture a lot of the dancing portion of the evening and she did not disappoint. From the posed pictures that don't feel at all posed to the truly candid moments, Jacoby beautifully captured the glowing happiness we felt on our wedding and I'm so appreciative of her work. I only wish that we lived in St. Louis so we could continue to work with her for future life moments and events!

Jacoby was a fabulous photographer for our engagement photos and wedding. Jacoby is AMAZING! She was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She worked well with our wedding party and the variety of personalities that came along with that. Her work is beautiful and despite it raining our entire wedding day, she capture some beautiful photos. Jacoby is hands down the best photographer I have ever worked with, and I highly recommend her! I am a planner like many of you I’m sure, so I knew I wanted Jacoby the second I got engaged. She had been the photographer at my friends wedding and I loved their photos - the style, the lighting, the creative feel. I had dreamed of what my wedding photos would look like for years, so I knew she was the one who could deliver. She delivered and then some! She was a pleasure to work with and we were able to share ideas for unique photos. She knows what areas/lighting looks best so we trusted her with all the details and we are so glad we did! For me, Jacoby was the calm in the storm of my wedding. There were so many things to see and do and decide on, and sooo many family photos to take, and Jacoby led me and my husband through it beautifully. I'm so grateful that we chose her to be our photographer, because with all of the wedding stress and wedding greatness the day went by SO quickly - and now I'm able to treasure these photos. She captured lovely moments between my grandparents and my friends and my in-laws that I wasn't able to see because I was busy being the bride, and I'm so grateful to have all of these amazing, curated images of the day. We did the 6 hour package, and if I were to do it again, I'd either hire her for longer or do a package wit her photography partner (her husband!) so that we could capture more of the guests and moments at our large-ish wedding. TL;DR hire her, she's great!

Professional, efficient, and fun. It is easy to see how talented Jacoby is from her photos. They are unique yet timeless and are something you can have pride in as your remember life's special moments. We hired Jacoby and Macklin, Jacoby's husband and photographer #2 in the 2 photographer package, to document our wedding and could not be happier. The photos turned out perfect and we would definitely recommend for photographing any life event.

My number one top priority for my wedding day was having the best photographer possible to make sure I had beautiful photos and wonderful memories to look back on, even when the day was over. Working with Jacoby as our photographer truly was the best decision I ever could have made because she gave me beautiful memories and so much more. She told the story of the day so perfectly, and she put me and Drew at ease throughout the entire process. Even when I was a little behind on my planning, Jacoby gave me lots of guidance and reassurance and made the whole process easy and comfortable which allowed for natural, relaxed photos. I am not photogenic at all, but Jacoby's style and creativity is incredible and she took total control and I couldn't be happier with the photos. Along with her top notch work ethic, speedy response times to any crazy question you may have (frantic calls asking if your Fiance should wear stripes??!!), sweet and thoughtful notes of encouragement, and professionalism -- Jacoby is just downright friendly and comforting. I can't say enough good things about her, I would recommend her to anyone and everyone ( I did recommend her to my friends), and I would choose her again if I had to do it all over!

I am absolutely in LOVE with Jacoby's photos of our wedding! Her style of catching more spontaneous, candid, real moments was exactly what we wanted. I recently got married and choosing Jacoby as our photographer was the best decision we made! Jacoby is so easy to work with and her photographs are amazing. Jacoby was definitely one of the top three decisions we made for our wedding day (and that’s saying something because trust me you have to make A LOT of decisions). She made us feel at ease in front of the camera, even when she asked us to do crazy things like run...down this hill...slowly...while looking at each other...and holding hands haha Our flowers were sunflowers and Jacoby noticed a little patch of them across from our venue and we were able to take some of my favorite pictures there. She has an wonderful eye for detail and I’m amazed by how quickly she works. I’m absolutely in love with our engagement pictures and the pictures from our wedding day. The only thing I would change would be to hire her for longer. I’m looking forward to having her take more pictures of us as our life progresses. My husband and I weren’t the most comfortable in front of a camera but having Jacoby over to our home for our engagement session just felt like having a friend over.
