e did our engagement photos and even helped us find our wedding venue! She is kind, engaging, professional and very organized. She takes the time to get to know each couple, our story, and our priorities for photos. When she arrived on the wedding day she immediately brought calm and support. I felt like she was there for me to stay on schedule and fix any stray hairs. She was also very efficient with family photos so we did not waste time before heading to the reception. She took incredible photos that we will cherish for a lifetime. She had edited first look photos back within days and our entire album back in just 2-3 weeks. Her assistant was also incredible! 1000/10 would recommend Jacoby to anyone who needs photos in STL.

Most importantly though, she was amazing to have along for the day. Not only are her photos amazing (see below) but she was super laid back which I love. My friends just loved her too! a major focus for her is capturing nostalgic and timeless photos that we can look back on the rest of our lives, and that’s something I find so important. Candids are always my favorite types of pictures during photo shoots that can sometimes feel so staged, and Jacoby captures these moments so flawlessly. Even during staged or more formal poses, she makes you so relaxed and in the moment where you forget you’re actually being photographed. We used her for our engagement photos multiple times and on the wedding day, and she followed us through our wedding process frequently checking in and seeing how we’re doing. The entire wedding day went so smooth and most importantly stress-free so my husband and I could just take it all in without focusing on the little details, which was largely in part due to Jacoby keeping us on track. Last but certainly not least, her photos are jaw dropping. She captures the day perfectly and you are literally able to relive the entire day just through her pictures. We cannot wait to use her for family photos in the future. 100000000/10 recommend Jacoby.

e day felt. Every time we look at our wedding photos we are instantly transported back to the day and get the chance to relive it all again. Jacoby is incredibly communicative and really gets to know you throughout the planning process. She also had our photos back to us in record time (less than 2 weeks for our entire album). She is also so fun to work with and feels like a friend at the end of the experience. We cannot recommend her enough.

id search far and wide to review other options, even interviewing/reviewing full albums from other photographers, however, even after all this, the decision was still very clearly Jacoby. We booked her literally the day she opened her books up for the year. Our first time chatting with her was very relaxed, warm, welcoming. I felt very comfortable talking to her about our vision and wants. I feel like she heard us. We initially planned for just wedding coverage, with 8 hours of coverage. However, leading up to the wedding, we decided that we additionally wanted to add on an engagement shoot (for memories, to see how my makeup trial would photograph, and to spend more time with Jacoby prior to the wedding). She ABSOLUTELY blew us away. From how fun our hour together was, to how easy posing using her cues/prompts was, to getting our photos back only EIGHT days after our shoot, everything was perfect. The photos, oh my god they were perfect! More than I could've ever imagined. Leading up to our wedding, she did an excellent job of communicating with us and with our wedding planner to come up with a perfect timeline, incorporating all the specific photos that we requested. Day of, Jacoby and her second photographer Nathan brought a light, playful, fun energy. They were able to be flexible when we inevitably fell off our initially planned timeline. They were ready to silently/secretly capture sweet/quiet/intimate moments but also easily commanded the room to capture formal portraits when time was limited, at times even dealing with very strong personalities in a very graceful way. She sent us a handful of photos only TWO days after the wedding, then a sneak peak album in LESS THAN TWO WEEKS, with our final gallery coming in ONLY THREE WEEKS after the wedding. The variety of photos we received was incredible. Two months after our wedding, and I still find myself peaking at them almost daily, feeling the same warmth, happiness, and love we did that day. I love that each picture tells a story and takes us right back to the moment. I will cherish these memories forever. I could not recommend Jacoby enough!

My (now) husband and I deliberated long and hard on which photographer to go with, and ultimately landed wanting to go with Jacoby given she seemed (based on the photos we saw on her website/on the knot) to have a very unique talent for capturing very “raw” and “real” action shots that fully capture all the emotions and good stuff. And BOY are we happy we went with Jacoby as our wedding photographer! She was professional, helpful, and overall delightful to work with. We planned our wedding from afar so did not get to meet Jacoby in real life until the day of our wedding, though had an introductory phone call and another planning call a few weeks prior to the wedding (both of these calls further solidified our interest in Jacoby as she was clearly very organized and professional, and had a really nice, comfortable demeanor about her in these interactions). She sent us some sneak peeks soon after our wedding and I was blown away by how beautifully they captured our moment. I'm so grateful that we chose her to be our photographer, because with all of the wedding stress and wedding greatness the day went by SO quickly - and now I'm able to treasure these photos. She captured lovely moments between my grandparents and my friends and my in-laws that I wasn't able to see because I was busy being the bride, and I'm so grateful to have all of these amazing, curated images of the day. We did the 6 hour package, and if I were to do it again, I'd either hire her for longer or do a package wit her photography partner (her husband!) so that we could capture more of the guests and moments at our large-ish wedding.
