We were referred to Jackie by our event planner Alexis from Events by Lexx, and boy were we glad we found her. Jackie is amazing to work with; a master of her craft - punctual, detail oriented, straight-to-the-point; and her personable approach is very much appreciated by everyone of us who were fraught by the wedding planning process. My wife and I wanted to replicate the sailor kiss picture in Times Square for our engagement shoot. Jackie not only researched the actual location of the original photo, but suggested the best time to go to take advantage of lighting of the day. The nervous wreck I was while in uniform in the middle of the Times Square crowd, Jackie made me feel at ease and made it such an easy process that both my wife and I immediately knew we were in the perfect hands for our wedding. (She also singlehandedly carried our change of clothing on her back during this shoot!!! Extra points for the above and beyond the call of duty soldiery!) On our wedding day, Jackie promptly showed up, gave us huge hugs like an old friend we knew forever, and almost immediately started snapping away! She knew exactly what she needed to do and the time to do it (all we gave her prior were general instructions and a Banquet Event Order). Jackie expertly got those difficult-to-do complete family shots done with ease; and then she just begun to fully take advantage of the creative license given to her. We have zero doubt in the quality of her work. Bonus - Jackie was sincerely flattered that we love her engagement photo work so much that we blew 5 of them up into 24 x 30" canvas for the wedding. TL;DR - for candid and natural shots, give Jackie the trust, and she's got you!

and knows exactly what you want. When I found Jackie in a magazine and franticly searched on the internet and social media - I knew she was the one. I couldn't stop looking at her past photos...and couldn't help but wonder what our photos would look like! Since Jackie lives in CA and myself in NJ our first form of contact was by phone and we talked over an hour - she knew exactly what we wanted!! Close to the date I believe we talked almost every day, making sure everything was perfect and not a detail to be missed! When the day finally came I was so excited because I knew in 25 years I would look back on our photos and they would put a smile on my face because of Jackie. We recently got our photos back (less than a month!) and I’m overwhelmed of how perfect they are. Look no further....Jackie is the best!

She simply took us for a walk around the block during magic hour looking for the perfect light / background combinations, which she found plenty. Then after our walkabout, she told us that we no longer needed to look at the camera, and she captured many timeless moments. She will do whatever it takes to get the job done -- braving the freezing cold, climbing on furniture, running through NYC traffic (!!). e married at Tribeca Rooftop, and Jackie met me at the space to get a visual of our day & to go over every detail and wedding timeline. The day of our wedding, Jackie was on time & wasted none! She was even telling my make up artist to give me a lip touch up and oil blotter for the night ahead! She coordinated everyone and the photos and moments she captured, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! So many people told me our photos belonged in a magazine! She has such an eye, that she even risked her life by standing on the edge of the rooftop to capture an angle of us that she had to have! I liked the way Jackie handled the actual photos - editing the quantity and quality and providing an online gallery where we could share the link with our friends to download or purchase directly from there. It made it more manageable than going through thousands of photos or having to choose which ones we wanted to purchase without a watermark on them. The actual photos themselves were breathtaking and didn't miss a single moment. Jackie also gave us great recommendations for other vendors that she had worked with, such as florists, which helped a lot with some of the initial planning. We would highly recommend Jackie for engagement/wedding and we hope to use her again for family shoots in the future. She was great to be around and we will enjoy the photos she took for our engagement shoot and wedding forever.

Leading up to the wedding, we discussed our time-table for the day of, etc. She arrived at our hotel right on time, and from the first picture she took, to the last, she worked so hard to get the perfect angle. os. We wanted a lot of fun, spontaneous shots, while walking the streets of NYC on our way from the church to the wedding. Jackie seemed to read our minds, because she was exactly what we were looking for. She managed to sneak in a few of those church photos for grandma too. But for the most part we barely knew she was a there, and was certainly not ruining our night by making us stop to take photos. She was a great time too. Very fun and passionate about what she was doing. And she even stuck around for awhile to party with us after her work was done. Jackie was great, and we loved our experience with her from beginning to end.

emely nervous, quiet, shy and am adverse to having my picture taken in general. Quite the tricky candidate! Jackie whizzed in like an energetic blast of fresh air, chatting, asking questions, complimenting, introducing herself to my nearest and dearest. I immediately felt relaxed in her presence and just let her do her thing. Her warm nature and sparkle, mixed with her professionalism when we got down to it, were nothing short of spectacular. And I'm not one to be so liberal with compliments. I felt calm & reassured, didn't feel my privacy was being invaded and Jackie gave very little direction taking very natural photographs which are really quite beautiful. A perfect mix of the more serious pictures to those candid moments when everyone is unaware they're being photographed and it all turns out perfect. The pride and detail in her work is evident through the variety of shots and you can see the way she always uses the light to her favour - I honestly am incredibly un-photogenic and she made me look beautiful. It can also be noted that my family & friends adored her and felt comfortable working with her and chatting away also. She felt part of the family on the day and I enjoyed the intimacy of that . Anyhow, in short Jackie is truly wonderful and whatever event next comes my way she will be the only photographer I would call & also the only one I would recommend to friends looking for someone perfect!

e because she was the photographer at a friends wedding. As a guest, I remembered I didn't even notice the photographer (TRUST me...that's a good thing). Guests don't want a camera shoved in their faces. Then once I saw my friends photos come in I just knew we had to book Jackie and we had to book her fast. I mean, c'mon.... y husband and me. I emailed about 15 photographers in the Northern New Jersey area. From the moment I visited Jackie's website, I thought she would be perfect for us. I loved her bio and her attitude toward her work. She seemed fun, professional, and I could tell she absolutely loves being a photographer... oh and her photos were insanely gorgeous! My husband and I met her for dinner at a local restaurant and the rest was history. Her website, although fabulous, doesn't do her justice...Jackie made us feel immediately at ease (even though neither of us have really been professionally photographer before). It was so easy to work with her during our engagement shoot that we felt like we were just hanging out with a friend. And the results were amazing! Such great practice for the wedding day. Between the engagement shoot and the wedding, Jackie was consistently in touch with me...answering emails in 24 hours or less, checking in with us to make sure details were in place and all the planning was going well, and answering any silly little questions I had about...anything! On our wedding day, she was like the calming force in my mom's house where I was getting ready with my bridesmaids. She made everyone feel comfortable (including my mother who HATES pictures of herself) while she quietly captured the most beautiful and poignant moments of that crazy time. During the photo shoot at our venue (after hours of smiling and posing and greeting guests) I was feeling slightly overwhelmed. Jackie was completely supportive. "Take a break, grab a cocktail, spend some time with Mike (my hubby) and just relax for a little." This was exactly what I needed to hear and she knew it! I can't tell you how much I appreciated that understanding from her. I returned refreshed and ready to continue...and the photos don't lie! She was creative and captured us and the scenery around us perfectly. From the day our sneak peek was posted on facebook, I've had friends (and even people I don't know personally) asking for my photographers information. That's how fantastic these pictures are! Our full set of 800 (!!) photos were done 2 months after the wedding and we have had such a great time choosing photos for our album, sharing the pics with our family and ordering 8X10s to put all over our house. Only when you work with Jackie will you also understand how great she is, not only at her craft, but at working with people and helping to make your wedding day the most beautiful day of your life. I can honestly say that Jackie was the only decision I didn't have one second thought about throughout the planning process. ere really are no words other than she is amazing. From the moment we spoke I felt like Jackie and I were friends. She walked me through my day and her thoughts on the whole thing and I felt SO confident. Photography is so improvident to me and I knew Jackie would capture our day and she did! We shared plenty of info with Jackie regarding wedding details we were interested in (sent her videos beforehand + also gave her written background and explanation of each moment of wedding day we wanted to capture....) though, she had already done so many other unique weddings (our was an Orthodox Jewish wedding) and was always eager to learn and a great listener. Simply put, we couldn't recommend any higher. We loved having Jackie, as did our parents and family. Outside of all this, her work speaks for itself. We are so happy with our decision to work with Jackie. Lastly, the quality of Jackies work is much much higher than the price she charges

It is a totally worth it extra expense, I am so happy to have all the photos of my groom getting ready, which I wouldn’t have been able to have without Brandi! t was this was the first detail to secure... So I began to scour the wedding blogs and magazines. Wedding photographers today do such an incredible job capturing the beauty of the day and the detail that we brides spend months planning and, finally, executing. It was so hard to choose! I began emailing photographers and what became very clear was that I needed someone I connected with both esthetically and personally. My fiancee and I are not people who spend a lot of time in front of a camera and taking pictures is not necessarily the most natural thing for either of us. I wanted someone who made us feel like US and brought out the beauty of our relationship...I wanted our wedding pictures to capture our blissed out happiness, our deep love for each other and if the lighting happened to be perfect, that was an extra bonus. Our first meeting with Jackie was at our engagement shoot - we had been emailing for weeks leading up to the shoot and I literally had goosebumps on the train ride into NYC to meet her. We had CONNECTED. She got me. When we first met, I swear it was like meeting up with an old friend that I hadn't seen in years. She immediately draws you in and makes you feel comfortable. We laughed the entire time and literally fell in love with Jackie. And then the pictures came...and everything we had wanted came through in those first photos - we were Peter and Allie...and the lighting happened to be perfect. Jackie and I were in touch throughout the year. She sent us a beautiful mounted photo from the engagement session and actually gave me general wedding advice when I needed an expert's opinion (she set me up with the MOST talented make-up artist in New England, Erin Infantino). When the winter was draining and wedding planning was overwhelming, Jackie would revive our excitement with a facebook post or email. She really became a genuine friend. We were so overwhelmed by the first photo session we asked Jackie to shoot our rehearsal dinner in addition to the wedding. And when we saw her again after so many months, we hugged and screamed and maybe cried a little. She was perfect - she gets everything the couple she is shooting is about. She captures those genuine, touching moments without you even realizing she's there! The rehearsal dinner was a relaxed, let-your-hair-down-vibe and she made us all feel like rock stars. The best decision we made was having her with us the entire weekend. And the wedding.........I have no words to describe the beauty of the photos Jackie took of the most important, magical day of our lives. We were relaxed, we were us, we had the BEST time and each and every picture shows exactly that. Jackie is a genius. She captures everything you want to remember and some moments you didnt realize had happened; from the silliness of getting ready with my best friends, to the tears under the chuppah, to the kick-ass dance party that all our guests are still talking about. Not only did I feel like the most beautiful, ecstatic bride the day of our wedding but Jackie's pictures prove that I really was. Thank you Jackie and Michele Wolff (the best co-photographer EVER) for making sure we did not miss one second of this incredible day...and making us all look so darn good:)

me just tell you that the woman is an artistic genius. We even had people telling us that the photos were so pretty that they should be featured in a bridal magazine. Jackie is also extremely professional. She showed up way early to both events (RD and Wedding) to make sure that the holiday traffic didn't affect her work and she was so easy to communicate with the entire time. While I'm sure that she captured every detail of the wedding, she had this unique ability to blend in and not disrupt the flow of the evening. We are so fortunate to have found her. She is part of the reason why our wedding weekend was something we will cherish forever.

We were really more focused on our wedding being a celebration, and a great party with our friends and family, than it being a serious, rigid event. Jackie was all over it. She totally captured the spirit we were after, both before, during, and after the event (Jackie was a guest at the afterparty, as a participant at that point. She blended right in with our friends). Being New Yorkers, we really wanted our pre-pictures to capture the city, and we got great pics walking around Alphabet City. The pictures of the ceremony were beautiful, and the party shots were awesome. Everything looked authentic, nothing staged, nothing cheesy. She really nailed what we were after. I never thought I would spend as much time looking through our pictures as I do, I'm not the sentimental type. But they are just DAMN good. On top of it all, Jackie is just great to hang out with. The total package.
