We had our wedding at Bayonet Farm which is a very large venue and they knew the whole place very well. I cannot recommend them enough.

We had an outdoor wedding and our Maitre 'd was really on top of getting everything set up correctly. We had to call the rain at a specific time and her and her team ran through the rain (!!!) to grab all the ceremony chairs and put them under the tent. They were totally soaked. But the dedication was amazing! The bar was great, the food was excellent, the servers were awesome...we really couldn't have asked it to go more smoothly.

They were professional and caring and really made sure that everything went smoothly to the very end. At the very end of the night, they packed quickly and efficiently and even helped my brother with the stuff that was coming back home with us. The food was quite delicious (well, from what I actually tasted as the bride lol). I wish we had ordered 2 baked bries and 2 salmon dishes since they were such a hit during cocktail hour. Jacques coordinated with Normandie Bakery and I'm so glad because that cake was so very delicious that I'll be leaving a separate review for them. It was SUCH an amazingly delicious, moist cake. I wish I could have eaten more. Everyone had nothing but compliments to give.

The weather too called for a very windy raining day and Jacques was prepared for that as well by installing wind walls, repositioning tent and also upgrading to a high wind proof tent. e the fact that I met with Lisa at the site and had a site plan, the tent was placed in the wrong place. Instead of trying to fix this Lisa was extremely unprofessional, yelling at me the bride, the day before the wedding. Thankfully all the other vendors we worked with and my day of coordinator were outstanding. We had a beautiful wedding in spite of Lisa and Jacques, not because of them. If I could do my wedding over again, I would have never contacted them. There are plenty of other companies in the area that could have done the same thing without the headache. STAY AWAY!

I filled out several inquiries for catering companies and some took weeks to respond and some I never heard from. Jacques Caterers had responded to my inquiry the same day I had submitted it. Ashley not only answered my questions but then followed up again after our phone call with a heartfelt email congratulating us on our engagement and the email was rich with information and menus. She had answered some of my questions before I had even asked them. Ashley then directed us to Lisa and it was clear where Ashley had learned to make clients feel at ease and welcome. Lisa’s warmth and caring qualities shine through her work and her knowledge of weddings and events took a huge weight off our shoulders. My fiancé and I were beyond thrilled to begin planning with Lisa and we wasted no time. About two weeks after contacting Jacques Caterers we had a tasting that left us wanting more regardless of how full we already felt. Upon our arrival Lisa greeted us like family and kindly took our coats for us. Set up on the table there was a notepad, pen and menus; this was clear how prepared they were. Everything we had was beyond delicious but two items we recommend would be the Quesadillas filled with grilled chicken, apples, cranberries and jack cheese and the Short Ribs of Beef. The Quesadillas sent my taste buds on a tropical vacation, the apples and cranberries added a crisp, sweet and unique taste and we knew our guests would love it. The Short Ribs of Beef melted in my mouth and the sweet and sour gravy was out of this world. Lisa’s expertise and the five star tasting food had us hooked and right after the tasting we booked our dream wedding with Jacques Caterers. With our location being next to the Sandy Hook Chapel we were able to rent a tent from Jacques Caterers as well. Unfortunately, our wedding day threw us a curve ball when mother nature relentlessly blew strong winds. The strong winds made it unsafe to have the tent up and once we were notified of this our hearts sunk and we were devastated. But this didn’t stop Jacques and their staff, they quickly set up and diligently decorated the Sandy Hook chapel to accommodate our celebration. Our wedding went above and beyond our expectations and it was hands down one of the best days of our lives, all thanks to Jacques Caterers!

tc. It made it so much easier to book everything right through one vendor. We began planning everything with Lisa, who was very knowledgeable of all ends of an off premise wedding. She came to our house and helped to design the layout of the affair. She also assisted us with selecting the menu and really knew the food well. During our tasting she was patient when we were indecisive and was able to work through our critiques to design dish’s that specifically met our palette. The week prior to the reception the weather was not good and hurricane Joaquin was possibly on the way. Lisa assured me that Jacque’s would do everything they could to make the party pleasant for us and our guests. Early in the week Jay and Ray came out with their crew to set up the tents. As the day approached and the weather was more and more uncertain, my wife and I were nervous to say the least. We spoke with the owner Anthony who offered us a venue nearby as contingency plan (at no extra charge). He gave us till the day before to decide but was committed to making the day great no matter what we decided. We chanced the weather and Jay and Ray came back with “Rooster” on the morning of our reception to put the rest of our “venue” together. They put up walls, lights, heaters, tables, dance floor etc. As our maître d Mary, and the rest of the catering staff showed up to put out décor and whatever else my wife and I asked them to put out, Jay and his crew built the kitchen in a separate tent. I was amazed at not only how smoothly they all worked together but how elaborate of an operation they made happen right in my backyard. The versatility of the company and their employees was impressive. Talking to Jay while he was putting on the tent walls he told me that he had a culinary degree and was going to be working in the kitchen for the party. His attention to detail both in the setup as well as during our event was greatly appreciated. So much of Jacque’s staff worked very hard and did multiple tasks to make the event run perfectly smooth. My guests told me the food was excellent and the service was equally good. The wait staff were the perfect amount of attentive. They constantly bussed tables and kept everybody’s needs met all while hardly being noticed. Tim, the bartender remembered what most people were drinking and even had their drinks ready as they approached the bar. Inside the tents you had no idea that poor weather was surrounding us. Our guests said they were so comfortable during the party and had no idea that a backyard wedding could be so elegant.

Besides Lisa the entire service team was outstanding - the groom & I weren't without a drink for more than a minute and the servers, bartenders, etc. were absolutely wonderful. The food was FANTASTIC. We offered lobster tail and filet and got rave reviews - so many people said it didn't taste at all like wedding food and my uncle told me it was the best filet he ever had! We also had a ton of food at cocktail hour, including a raw bar, that went over really well. While we got our cake elsewhere, Jacques took care of brownie bites and mini cupcakes that were to die for. I highly recommend you go in for a tasting if you sign with Jacques; it's a wonderful time. Overall I can't say enough good things about this vendor - beyond reasonably priced (probably under-priced, seriously) and phenomenal food and service. Thank you, Jacques!!

The day of this latest wedding was incredibly hot yet the wait staff in particular never slowed their pace and continually went beyond their duties to make sure the guests were comfortable and did it all with a smile, treating everyone as if they were the hosts not us. I would recommend Jacques and in particular Lisa, our coordinator, for any occasion, big or small. Lisa was very attentive, addressing every detail and was prepared for every eventuality, the whole time with a smile and confidence that allowed us just to kick back, relax and enjoy the day. I would even consider having more children just so that we could use them for another wedding.

We had lobster tails and steak for dinner, and it was prepared perfectly. It honestly did not taste like banquet food. I cannot believe how reasonable they are for the quality of food and service. The best part of Jacques was the management. Lisa Tevis offered more than just food selection and scheduling. She acted as our event planner, and offered us better expertise and advice than our paid wedding planner. My heel got stuck in the floorboard right as I was about to escort the bride down the aisle, and Lisa actually got on her hands and knees and got my stuck shoe free! If I could give them ten stars, I would. Big hit was the potato leek soup shooters during the cocktail hour, and the take-away bagel and egg sandwiches at the end of the evening. I am the mother-of-the-bride.

She came to the walkthrough of the venue and really helped us and the event space staff to plan the perfect layout for the day. And then on the day of - she deserves an MVP award. She truly went above and beyond, not only organizing her own staff, but even helping us here and there with certain organizational aspects. You could just tell she really cared about not only the meal going perfectly, but really the whole day. I doubt you would find that level of involvement and genuine concern with every catering company. She worked hard to keep everything running smoothly, and it really showed. And the food - delicious! Many of our guests commented that they really enjoyed the food, which you don't always hear at every wedding. I've been to several weddings over the past couple of years, and the food at ours was among the best we've had. Lisa had even arranged for some more special presentations for some of the courses and it was a really nice and generous touch. She also worked with a bakery to provide the cake, and it was really perfect - matched our personalities and was delicious! Honestly we can't thank Jacques Exclusive Caterers enough, and Lisa in particular, for making our wedding so great. I highly recommend them.

er. I had gone to some weddings/events where he staff ran a bit late on there end of things, or they didn't bring everything they needed. I was trusting Jacques with a lot. They were not only bring in all my food and drink, but the tables, cloths, and my wedding cake. I ordered everything with them, which I found boh highly helpful and also slightly troublesome. Lisa, the woman from Jacques I worked with for my wedding, helped me feel at ease. She helped me pick my colors, my food, and took care of my cake. While I loved and trusted her, I couldn't shake the feeling of stress and worry. She told me that everythin would turn out fine. She told me how everything was going to be great. I am happy to say that she was right. My wedding was better than I imagined and she came through on everything. My cake looked beautiful. The food tasted wonderful and all my guests were well taken care of. The wait staff was on top of everything and they followed my timetable to the letter. My bridesmaids and I didn't have to remind them about a thing. I was able to focus on enjoying my wedding and my new husband. I'm glad my wedding went a lo smoother than some of m friends weddings in the past. And I owe that all to using Jacques instead of the other companies they used for their events. what to expect at a barn wedding, but I tried to keep an open mind...the result is that I never knew a catering company could execute such a flawless event with such limited resources! When I found out there was no running water and barely any electricity at this site I was shocked! As a guest at this wedding I would have never guessed anyone could have created such an amazing event working with barely anything, but Jacques came through! The spread of food was jaw dropping! Cocktail hour provided us a glimpse of what was ahead! The hors d'ouevres were one better than the next, I was even lingering around the chefs tent waiting for waiters to come out with the next item! I was a bit skeptical about buffet style meal service but I was pleasantly surprised with how well everything was run by Lisa Tevis and her assitant Rosie Watts! The buffet display itself was just beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious! I tried a little of each dish and I even went back for seconds! Dessert was everything you could imagine! I'm still dreaming about the cupcake and pie table! The "to-go" coffee and sweet treat table at the end of the night was such a great touch and a really nice way for us guests to head home happy! I was very surprised to find out that Jacques Catering also provides rental equipment for their off site events! They took care of the tent set up as well as the tables and chair rentals! Every detail was taken into consideration and the service staff were so polite and professional! I can honestly say I know I made the right decision to book with Jacques for my own wedding and my mind is at ease knowing Lisa and her team are here for me every step of the way leading up to my big day! Overall Jacques Catering did an outstanding job in giving my friends the wedding day of their dreams! Thank you Jacques!!!

ady for the challenge. The food was perfect, from the many passed hors d'oeuvres to the entrees. There was more than enough food choices to please all of my (sometimes picky) guests, and I overheard guests rave about the food all night. The staff was sensational, and the catering director was essentially the perfect combination of caterer and wedding planner. The attention to detail was meticulous. They took care of every aspect of the food and beverage, from the set up to cleanup. It is amazing how relaxed and reassured they made me feel that everything would be taken care of. I cannot thank them enough for their efforts on my special day.

e we were satisfied. We had a nice cocktail hour on our deck and the servers greeted all of our guests with a friendly welcome and knowledgable about the hors dourves they were handing out. All the servers were very professional and truly cared about the happiness of our guests. Anything I asked for, I got. They never gave me a hassle about anything! Lisa worked with us from the beginning of planning the wedding until the day of and her care and continued communication with me made the wedding planning much less stressful than I could have ever imagined. As far as the food goes.. it was AMAZING. Everyone went up to the buffet for seconds and thirds and complimented every entree. Thank you to the Jacques family for an unforgettable day!!

is our new family caterer for every event and they made the best day of my life better than I could ask for. The service was excellent, Lisa took care of every need we had, she was on the ball with every minor detail and accepted every last minute change. From the ribbon on the chairs to the ceremony being handled, she had everything perfect to the point. They put up the tent, set everything up, Lisa would call every once in awhile to make sure things were going good and always being helpful to make sure it was a breeze for me. I give Jacques Catering 5 stars, the food was phenomenal. I had to have Lisa send me extra business cards so I could send them out in the thank you letters. They take care of everything you could possibly ask for. The best part was the prices! I barely dented my wallet and there was extra food at the end that we were able to keep. They made my wedding into a fairy tale.

ate that Jacques had never been to before. But our guests were convinced they worked for the place. They were able to prepare some amazing food with the limited space they were given and the staff was so professional and comfortable in the surroundings. They can adapt to any space and do a great job. We were so happy to receive so many compliments and will definitely be using Jacques again for future events.

will go above & beyond for any bride/groom or party. She will do whatever it takes to make your day everything you ever could dream of! It was very stress- free for me in having our wedding there, for many reasons; 1. it is close to home, 2. the food is amazing & 3. the atmosphere is gorgeous! We checked a few places & nothing compared to what they give you in quality & service. We had a few bumps in the head count (both add on & off) due to people not replying in a timely manner & the staff there made everything seem so minor & made it work without anyone noticing a thing! We had a lot of out of town guests that really enjoyed & complimented our choices in food, all the credit goes to Aimee & Jacques for that. Aimee sat with us & carefully planned each course & made suggestions since we had a lot of picky eaters & vegetarians. EVERYONE commented on how thoughtful & well planned out everything was. We have used Jacques for a few catering events, their food is outstanding & we always get compliments whenever we use them. I will continue to use them in the future for whenever I need a caterer. Thank you Aimee & Thank you Jacques for making our day so memorable. And not just for us, but for everyone!

of my shoulders. Thanks to them I didn't need to worry about where to rent equipment and it was drama free adding a few extra guest just days before my happy day. I had looked at other caters and no one had what Jacques could give me. Excellent VALUE! I mean they had great food, nice staff, everything I needed to rent, and I gave them a picture of my cake and it was exactly what I wanted! The hors d'oeuvres looked and tasted amazing. We choose a package with full open bar and there bartenders were amazing and I swear I saw a smile on grooms' overly citical grandmother, which is the hardest thing to bring. Plus, they had his wonderful dessert table. These cute mini cheesecake & brownie delights! I couldn't ask for a better caters or a better evening. Everything was so perfect and I would reccommend them highly!

One call and all the details are taken care of.....Last minute I had some out of town family members attending the Wedding as a surprise....the day before the event the guest count jumped 12 guests! Well - when every detail is planed out in the tent and all of a sudden you need an additional table, chairs and what ever else needed to be ordered I made one phone call and it was all taken care of - how easy is that! Jay and his team arrived with the additional equipment and made a few changes and the table fit right in. Jacques also provided a delicious meal that started with terrific bite size hors d'oeuvres and an Italian Antipasto spread that even my in laws could not stop talking about the pruscuitto and artichoke hearts and homemade bruschetta. My favorite hors d'oeuvre was the grilled lamb chop with the garlic mashed potato served in a mini martini glass! What a presenation. What I loved the most was the seasonal station of the fresh mozzarella and Jersey tomato station Caprese with these amazing seasoned salts! Presentation 4 stars! The salts were hung in a tree from these glass balls that were suspended mid air. After this unbelievable cocktail hour we had a buffet dinner with a carving station with a roast sirloin of beef that was cooked perfect! How do they do it all cooking in a tent? They make it seem so easy. What can I say but many thanks to the team at Jacques Catering for making my Wedding day terrific! Liz & Pete

we forgot what is taste like but the guest all rave how good food was and they the appetizer and main course. What guest stated the food was like eating at a 4 star resturant. Lisa Tervis was a blessing from the beginning of the planning process and always available to assistant with all the details of planning. I highly recommend using their services.
