I have trusted Jacques Catering for many years. Time and again, the food, presentation, and responsiveness have been outstanding. When my daughter told me she wanted to have her wedding in our backyard, my first thought was, “Who on earth is going to cater this?” Once I discovered that Jacques catered weddings, the decision was immediate. I knew the food would be excellent, the service exceptional, and that responsiveness would never be an issue. What I never expected…was Lisa. From our very first conversation, she treated my daughter’s wedding as though it were her own…actually better than her own. She was the calm in every storm, ensuring every detail was exactly right. She anticipated things before we did, coordinated every moving part, and somehow made an incredibly complex event appear effortless. She wasn’t simply managing a wedding. She was protecting one of the most important days of our lives. She answered countless texts and emails with patience, kindness, and remarkable responsiveness. No question was too small. No concern was ever dismissed. Somehow, she always made us feel like we were her only client. Weddings are expensive. You can pay for beautiful food, elegant décor, and flawless execution. What you cannot buy is someone who genuinely cares. Lisa cared. She invested her heart into our day in a way that cannot be taught and cannot be purchased. Her compassion, commitment, and unwavering attention to detail made an enormous difference in our experience. We had countless moving parts. My daughter and I probably made Martha Stewart look disorganized. There is no reason to look at any other caterers. The food is superb, the presentation, perfect, the serving, exceptional and the attitudes of every person that was from Jacques…well, they make the world a better place. 

Basking in the glow of tying the knot ~1 month ago, we cannot thank Jacques Catering enough- especially our catering point person, Lisa Tevis and the staff. Jacques Catering is affiliated with our amazing venue, The Barn at Laird (Colts Neck, NJ). Lisa made what seemed like an overwhelming experience, seamless and stressless. Everyone is raving about the how great the food was from cocktail hour to reception. Highly recommend attending one of Jacques Caterings tasting events- my husband is still raving about the sweet chili chicken thighs. Lastly, Lisa and her team handled everything to make our venue- a blank canvas inside, the wedding of my dreams from ordering of furniture, the linens and perfect colors to match my fall wedding palette, placement within the venue, setup, execution, decor and EVERY detail was made. The staff is very accommodating- Rosie made sure we ate, drank and had everything and anything we needed. The WHOLE staff was amazing. We highly recommend Jacques Catering with The Barn at Laird.
