The first time I had Jacqui’s cake, I was a guest at my friends, daughters wedding. I’m a cake lover. I enjoy weddings because of the cake. That cake was so delicious, I ate my piece and my husbands piece!! I couldn’t stop thinking about it! When my daughter got engaged, I insisted on them checking out Jacqui’s cake. Jacqui set up a tasting for us and we sampled several cakes, fillings and frostings. All so delicious! They were hooked too! My daughter was married July 21, 2018 and Jacqui did not disappoint. I made sure I got a piece (maybe I ate several pieces 😉) of cake. Everyone raved about how delicious the cake was! My girlfriend and I talk about ordering a cake from Jacqui just for us, so we can eat more cake! You won’t be disappointed choosing Jacqui’s cakes!

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great it was— even the ones who don’t love cake (myself included). We will be using Jacqui for future events!

I have to say when I turned my attention from the excitement of the proposal to the overwhelming experience of planning a wedding I had no idea at the time the cake was something I would end up being so excited about! The cake Jacqui’s Cakes prepared for us was just jaw dropping and added such a great piece of decoration to the wedding. It was well worth getting just from that aspect alone but to top it off Jacqui is not just a master of cake making artistically, it also tasted much better than any cake I’ve had before! Please believe me I am putting all bias aside for this (since it was my wedding cake) when I say this is the best looking and best tasting cake I’ve ever seen or eaten. Couldn’t have been happier and my wife and I have already said we will look for excuses in the future to get specialty cakes with Jacqui such as for our niece/nephew birthdays etc.

The flavors she can make are incredible so it was hard to choose but she was super accommodating in letting us do different flavors so we each had the flavors we liked best!!! This was ABSOLUTELY the Most AMAZING cake we have ever had. All of our guests were complimenting the flavors and design. The sponge was very moist, even days later, and it had the perfect sweetness. We sampled quite a few cakes from other bakeries and this cake was 110% better than the competition. The flavors were true - part of our cake was orange and it actually tasted orange, not artificial. We will definitely be ordering again for our future needs. Thank you for helping to make our special day even more memorable.

Had our wedding 2 weeks ago and had the cake delivered. We are not from town so we had to pick a place from reading reviews. We chose Jacqui's Cakes...and it was delicious. We had a three tier cake that was confetti with marble fondant on the outside. It was beautiful and everyone loved it!

Jacqui went above and beyond - from the cake tasting to the final cakes... yes, cakes! She did an amazing job on our wedding cake as well as the groom's Star Wars cake. The cake was delicious!! We chose two flavors - mocha spice cake with white chocolate buttercream and Lemon cake with raspberry pastry filling. Everyone LOVED the looks and the taste! Jacqui's communication during the process is stellar! I HIGHLY recommend Jacqui for your wedding or other special occasions.

Jacqui's Cakes was by far the best!!! From the onset of ordering to delivery. She quickly replied to all of my emails without delay. She even kept in close contact while sge was vacationing in Hawaii! Her price was reasonable...her cake was made by the best possible and healthiest ingredients. The cake was delicately laced with handmade sugar florals so elegantly colored as a master art piece to display. It couldn't match more perfectly with the flowers chosen for this event. My experience with Jacqui's Cakes was perfect! The process of tasting and order our perfect wedding cake was easy and comfortable. On the day of our wedding, the cake showed up on time and exactly how we wanted it. Oh, and everyone thought it tasted delicious!!

Our favorite part was the cake tasting process - instead of pre-made versions, she brings different flavored cakes, fillings and frostings so you can create your own. It was fun and special! I had found an image online of a wedding cake that I loved. Numerous bakers told me that they would try their best to replicate it. It was my wedding and I didn't want to settle so I kept looking. When I showed Jacqui the picture, she didn't even bat an eye. I figured that I would have to compromise esthetic for taste but I was definitely wrong. Our wedding guests still talk about the amazing cake. We loved it so much that my groom and I carried it onto the flight to enjoy on our honeymoon in Alaska. Jacqui also worked with me to create a surprise OSU football helmet groom's cake. I cannot thank Jacqui enough for doing her part to make my special day perfect. She truly goes above and beyond for her customers. You will not regret booking her for your own day. The cake will be beautiful and will taste amazing too!

Jacqui was such a joy to work with from the cake tasting up until the very end. She did such a great job with communication and making sure we got everything we truly wanted. She even was willing to work with us on the flavoring to stay within our budget and gave us a vanilla Italian meringue buttercream that was so sweet of her to do! Our wedding cake blew me away! She wowed the both of us when we finally got to see it on our wedding day (10/15/16) it was BEAUTIFUL! It was exactly how I wanted it and so much more! She really grasped my vision and everyone told us all night how beautiful it was and how so amazingly delicious it was! Even the fondant was yummy! I love how she uses marshmallow so it gives it a good tasteful flavor! Jaqui's cakes are nothing short of professional grade deliciousness. The sort of deliciousness that hijack your taste buds with every bite. My wife found Jaqui's Cakes on The Knot late in our line of tastings for wedding cakes. We had done several cake tastings before and already picked which bakery we thought we would go with for our wedding; but on a whim, decided to try Jaqui's tasting anyway. As my wife says, "why not?" We were blown away at the tasting, and knew immediately we had found our baker without even needing to consult one another. Jacqui offers a wide variety of cake flavors and excels in each and every one of them, which is what set her apart from all the other bakers we tried. Consistent quality of taste was more important to us than any other factor, though Jacqui's cakes are beautiful and affordable as well. Her chocolate cakes were rich and moist but not gooey, the lemon cake was fluffy and light, the buttercreams were smooth and not oily...the tough decision, as other reviewers have said, is picking just one or two. In the end we decided on two, red velvet with vanilla buttercream for me, and coconut with passionfruit buttercream for my wife. We decided on a small two-tier wedding cake with an extra sheet cake so all our guests could have a slice. Both cakes tasted just as they did in our tasting, and we received so many compliments on them from guests and many asking who the baker was. If you're looking for a wedding cake with a once-in-a-lifetime taste, in any flavor you can imagine, we highly recommend Jacqui. -Kyle & Julita

Jacqui was AMAZING to work with!! Our cake made our wedding so special and it was the talk of our wedding! We picked two different flavors, red velvet and the white/raspberry marbled cake. Both flavors were delicious! I'm usually not a big fan of fondant but hers is homemade and really good! I surprised my husband with a VW bus cake topper and the details that Jacqui did on it were better then I could've ever imagined. I would/will recommend her to everybody!!!

Jacqui was great in helping us select a cake flavor and design. She met with us and offered various tasting options, which were all too good to decide on. We went with a vanilla cake, raspberry jelly, Bavarian cream frosting, wrapped in fondant. She customized it with a black batman symbol with our last name written inside. Jacqui also added some pearl beads and design to the cake for some elegance. The cake arrived on time the day of. It was beautiful and so delicious! My husband is still raving about the cake and that's pretty much all he talked about for 6 months leading up to the wedding. He was not disappointed! Great customer service and product! Jacqui was wonderful to work with in planning our wedding and selecting our wedding cake. She was very flexible in her schedule to meet with my fiancé and I because we are both teachers. She has a wonderful variety flavors for a cake, filling, and icing. As well as beautiful designs in fondant. However, fondant isn't my favorite and she did a beautiful buttercream icing for us as well as a gold glitter dusting. She worked very hard with me at finding the perfect shade of gold glitter for our cake. She wanted me to look online and find colors I thought were appropriate. She would order them and then send me a sample waiting for me to approve which one was the best. Amazing customer service! She custom made our cake flavor for us changing her strawberry champagne cake to a raspberry champagne cake for us. We also had her marble cake as a second flavor. Then she did a small surprise groom's cake for my fiancé! She was always very professional, polite, and helpful. I also appreciated how prompt she was with communication and responding to emails quickly. If you are looking for a fabulous cake at a great price, Jacqui's Cakes is for you. Jacqui sat down with my fiancé and I to really get an idea as to what we wanted. I didn't want the normal chocolate...vanilla....lemon....cake but something different and we ended up with orange creamsicle. It was absolutely delish and didn't break the bank like some of these other bakeries charge. I would recommend her cakes to anyone! orked with Jacqui on our wedding cake as I really wanted something that was more She did our wedding cake which ended up tasting like an orange creamsicle! My husband and I are so happy we found Jacqui's Cakes for our wedding! From the start of cake tasting (over a year before the wedding) to the big day she was so helpful and quick to respond for any questions we had. Jacqui makes the most delicious cakes ever!! After attending many weddings in the last 5 years, I have never found a wedding cake particularly memorable. My guests, however, raved about our cake! We served marble swirl and raspberry champagne. They were both so moist, had great flavor, overall delicious! My husband and I were pretty set on serving cupcakes at our wedding until we met Jacqui and tried her cake and frosting sampler...amazing! She also worked with me to add 4 ninja turtles popping out of the backside of the cake as a surprise for my husband. They turned out great, better than I expected! Jacqui is easy to work with, quick to respond to emails, so accommodating and friendly, and her cake is delicious! Thank you!!

She was very easy to book a tasting with. Going in I really didn't know what I wanted for the cake other than one of the flavors. Going off of the budget we gave her (we upped the budget right before meeting with her as we decided to splurge on the cake). She went the extra mile to give us the most bang for our buck. We had a beautiful, simple design with bright colors. After the tasting I was very excited, we ordered 2 different flavors (traditional red velvet & champagne swirl/passion fruit with a fruit glaze). She showed up early enough to the site that I was able to see her before getting into my dress and I was ecstatic when I saw it. Both flavors were mouthwatering, the red velvet was moist. I absolutely love her work and have recommended her to the other 6 bride-to-Be's at my wedding. I have heard nothing but praise from our guests about the cakes.

We just cannot say enough about Jacqui's professionalism and our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful. Jacqui is incredibly creative and was able to envision exactly what we wanted and she created the most elegant, beautiful wedding cake, using fresh flowers from our florist to decorate the cake. She offered ideas when we weren't sure what we would like and explained everything about all the different styles and types of wedding cakes. The wedding cake itself tasted wonderful and we've heard over and over from different guests how beautiful our cake was and how wonderful it tasted, and we couldn't agree more! Jacqui is a dear friend of my parents and we were beyond excited that she made our cake. Not only was it absolutely stunning, but it was delicious as well and was a focal point decoration at our ceremony. Our cake was a combination of flavors: marble with raspberry buttercream and mocha spice with lemon butter cream. It was an absolute hit. We got so many comments on how gorgeous and tasty the cake was it practically stole the show! The whole time Jacqui was so accommodating and so easy to work with and responded very quickly. I met Jaqcui last year and worked with her on designing my cake. I had given her a picture and an idea and she ran with it. She was absolutely amazing! She delivered what I was hoping for and then some. Not only did she do a 3 tiered cake for me, she made a companion cube (google "portal" video game), and it was amazing! The guests didn't think that the cube cake was a cake!

Jacqui made my wedding cake for my wedding on 09/06/15. It was an ABSOLUTE HIT at my wedding! People kept commenting on how beautiful and tasty the cake was. Jacqui was such a pleasure to work with and made the whole experience smooth and flawless for me. She really went above and beyond and connected with my other vendors to give my cake the desired look I had envisioned.

The icing free wedding cake was not only beautiful but was one of the best wedding cakes I have ever eaten. This cake reminded me of some pastries I have eaten while traveling in Germany. The cake was delightfully light and the fruit/cream filling had a wonderful flavor. I thought the flower decorations were real flowers only to find out that they were hand made to match the flowers used for the wedding. I would recommend this type of cake for any occasion.

We met with several people before we met Jacqui to find the perfect cake for us. Now we are extremely picky people and really needed this to be top notch, she presented us with several flavors all of which were moist and full of flavor. Jacqui really listened to us and we had a stunning cake that left our guest in awe! About 8 months before my wedding, I had found Jacqui's Cakes on Yelp along with some Renton/Seattle bakeries. After comparing her prices, fees, expectations, etc. with others, she sounded the best fit for me. She was amazing when my bridesmaids, now-husband, and I met up with her for our appointment. Not only was she flexible with my schedule, but she was understanding, attentive, and helpful! The days leading up to my wedding, Jacqui was great at keeping in touch with me (since my days were already hectic!). She made sure I was loving the design and colors of my cake by sending me pictures, and also gave me her input. The final product was a work of art, inside and out - it tasted like heaven and it got a lot of compliments for its beautiful design! Thank you, Jacqui, for our wonderful wedding cake! Jacqui came thru in a pinch, with little notice. We recently moved to the area and did not have all our plans set, including the cake. She was amazing. Communication over design was easy, delivery timing was perfect, cake was perfect. Beautiful and delish. Thank you so much, we will definitely be calling on you again for other events.

If you want over the top fabulous Jacqui is your gal. I was CERTAIN that she was our vendor from the time I started to e-mail her and once I met her in person it solidified everything. I can't even begin to tell you how she took my scribbles and turned it into a dream come true! Plus with my husband (I love being able to say that now) being a complete airplane fanatic I really wanted to surprise him with a cake that was special and we had engagement photos in front of the Boeing 80-A so her and I began secret talks immediately. I must also state that her tasting was spectacular. The way she set up the tastings so that you could mix and match the flavors and try everything she offered was truly a special touch that allowed us to make the cake unique to our tastes. Other places only gave us pre-made slices that tasted like they had been sitting a while. Hers were fresh and melt in your mouth delicious! She recreated the airplane perfectly! He was shocked and thrilled with the grooms cake to no end! And the wedding cake was just so beautiful. Every detail was captured including the sculpture of us on top of the cake! It was so beautiful and even lace detail in my dress! I was completely in awe walking in to see the cake! If you want to be a happy bride and you are in the Seattle/Tacoma area...you really should contact her, she'll be right at the top of your list and for good reason!

We used Jacwui's Cakes for our son's wedding September 20. Her cake was perfect in every way! She followed the bride's requests creatively and impeccably, delivery was prompt, working with Jacqui was easy and pleasant, AND the cake was delicious. Every guest raved. Jacqui recently made my wedding cake and it was AMAZING! I found a picture of a cake I wanted and she completely recreated it to look exactly the same. It was beautiful and not to mention tasted incredible! My husband and I could not decided what flavor we wanted so she made every other layer chocolate and the others lemon... Fulfilling the best of both worlds! I cannot thank Jacqui enough for the ease of ordering and tasting the cake. She is absolutely amazing and I would recommend her a million times over. They create a masterpiece! Wonderful cake designs with so many colors to choose from! It's also very delicious!

We asked Jacqui of Jacqui’s Cakes to make the cake for our daughter’s wedding which was held last weekend. Jacqui had worked with the couple, letting them sample various cakes, filling and frosting flavors. After selecting their favorite flavors, Jacqui shared pictures of many of the cakes she had created. Every style imaginable was represented so a design was selected then fine-tuned. The bottom layer of the cake was a champagne cake with strawberry pastry filling. The middle and top layers were chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and raspberry pastry filling. I had initially been weary of fondant because it’s beautiful to look at, but isn’t always tasty. Jacqui’s fondant was yummy! Each cake layer had a Royal Damask stencil with random silver dragees, and 3 rows of Rhinestone banding, all perfectly applied. It was gorgeous! The cake, truly, was delicious. Our DJ, who has been in the business for years and, therefore, had more than his fair share of cake, thought it was really good. Jacqui delivered the cake on time and it was stunning. I highly recommend Jacqui’s Cakes!

I needed to schedule my tasting during a small window when my mom was in town and she was the only vendor to return my call in time to do so - also her cake was the best tasting out of all the cakes I had tasted from bakeries and wedding shows. When it came time for delivery I had no worries, since she had already proven to be so professional. And I live on the Kitsap peninsula. One of the amazing services she provides is an additional top layer a year later for the 1 year anniversary - I thought this was well worth the small fee to not have the space taken up in our tiny freezer. Jacqui was so patient with me when I changed my mind on the style of the cake I wanted! We never did a taste test with her, so we tasted it for the first time when we cut the cake! It was DELICIOUS! When I saw my cake, I cried because it was so beautiful! I would recommend Jacqui's Cake's to anyone looking for an amazing cake, both in taste and looks!! Meeting her, I thought she was really nice and the cake tasting was amazing. When it came time for the wedding, the bottom tier of cake was not what we had ordered. Although delicious, I was expecting something else. On top of that, she was not very helpful in getting her items back (cake stand) and threatened to charge out of our deposit while I was in Italy and could do nothing about it. After the cake was delivered, the experience was completely different.

People could not stop raving about our cake! We had three different flavors and received compliments on all of them. Jacqui was able to create the exact design I was looking for and I couldn’t be happier with how it all came together. The cake was stunning, the fondant was delicious (that speaks volumes since most fondant isn’t tasty), and the cake flavors were amazing! Jacqui is great to work with, her communication is superb and she arrived early to the venue.

Both our wedding cake and our groomscake were amazing and extremely tasty. Jacqui is a Cake artist! I will be recomending her to all my friends that are getting married next year and for years to come!
