Full story: Rewrite this in 75 words: It’s been four months since my wedding day, and I still cannot look at videos and photos because of the carelessness of Jade Strings and her musicians. I haven’t printed or posted a single photo, and I still cry when thinking back on my wedding day. Jade and her team were not just unapologetic and rude — they completely ruined my wedding day and refuse to acknowledge it. Long story short — after a year of planning and phone calls and consultations and lots (lots) of money— Jade’s team “forgot” to pack the piano that was meant for my wedding. How do you forget a piano? The ceremony and entryway to the venue was carefully crafted and designed around the piano as a focal point of the wedding. Instead, guests walked by a gaping hole and empty space. Instead of a piano shell, I had a woman at a keyboard… this was not the wedding dream I was sold. On top of that, during my actual ceremony, one of the other musicians was messing with her iPad and started playing music from the front of the room. It was a very loud and disturbing sound and it was the last nail in my coffin. I was mortified and had to stand up there knowing my wedding was a shit show— completely ruined by amateurs. Jade refused to take any responsibility for the carelessness. I had to send her multiple emails explaining how destroyed I was — and still am. She didn’t care. I asked for my entire wedding ceremony musician cost refunded — she refused it. She simply refunded me for the piano that she forgot… as if it was a simple mistake that didn’t constitute any type of apology or thorough explanation. I’m still heartbroken. The worst part is that they really sold me a dream. The Instagram videos… the reviews…. It all seemed like a done deal. I had a list of things that I thought could go wrong on my wedding day and I was prepared for them. This was not on my list. I truly thought I was in good hands with Jade and that is why I am still so devastated. I wanted the experience they promised and promoted. Instead, they left me with a hole in my wedding venue and an even bigger hole in my heart.
