When I made the appointment the lady that I met with wasn’t very nice and wasn’t welcoming at all, when I tried to show her pictures of the types of dresses that I wanted she didn’t really respond at all she just was like OK. I ended up looking through the rack of dresses myself and choosing them, however the dresses looked very worn and dirty. The environment was kind of cluttered and it was kind of dirty in there. I picked some of the dresses that I liked, I had shown her some of the pictures of the dresses of Maggie Sotterro that I had seen online, however she did not have any of them and said that they were new releases. However, it’s already halfway through the year and they had no new dresses from 2018. When I was trying dresses on, I was just wearing underwear. I usually don’t wear a bra to these fittings because you know, they’re women so it’s not usually a big deal and the dresses usually have bras built in. However this lady made me feel so awkward, I wanted to die. Not only was I naked, she was making me feel awkward and like staring at me, I had picked out some ball gown dresses and instead of helping me by putting on the dresses by going over my head as other salons do, she was just taking the dresses and setting them on the ground and saying oh you can slip this on yourself and then walking away, so I was standing there struggling, sweating to get into these gigantic dresses all by myself and she didnt help me even though I was obviously struggling. It was the most awkward experience ever! The dresses were nothing special, they were dirty and some of them were torn, they looked almost gray, not white. After awkwardly getting into the dresses that I sort of liked, all by myself, the lady had no suggestions as to anything else that would look good. Also I am not a very big girl. I am about a size 8 to 10 in wedding dresses which is about a size 4 in normal clothes; however, I do have hips (like a normal woman). When I tried formfitting dresses they were very small over my hips which is not usual, and when I tried to squeeze into one by myself, I was like is there a way you know we could like clip this here or something? And she was like nope that doesn’t fit and then she just took all the dresses that were fitted that I actually liked in the same brand and just put all of them back without letting me even look at them. She made me feel so fat and it was so sad and it was the most awkward experience of my life. I never leave bad reviews so this is a first. If you want a calm beautiful setting with beautiful dresses, and a nice lady to help you put the gigantic Gallons on, do not come here!

o being annoyed. She was amazing! To top it off we got my bridesmaids dresses there and again the processs was so tomole! Janice their resident semistress is MAGICAL! We invited her to our wedding, she helped me get dressed and actually had to sew me into my dress last minute. I can’t say enough good things about this shop. I wish I got to do it again just to try on their amazing selection and hang out with the ladies there!

I went home without the dress that day, but I couldn't sleep because I couldn't stop thinking about it - it was MY dress! I called in the morning to ask if I could drop by and try on the dress again and they said no problem. I didn't need an appointment and they helped me back into the dress so I could show my best friend, we shopped for all the accessories I'd need, and we walked out with my wedding dress 30 minutes later. I had no idea what type of dress I wanted or what would look good on me, they helped my find my style and narrow down what I was looking for by being patient and asking the right questions. gh their partnership with Maggie Sottero, I was able to try on the dress at their store, confirm it was the dress for me, and order it from them. They have a pretty big and organized collection of bridesmaid dresses. My 7 bridesmaids were able to find different styles of dresses all by the same designer. My mom bought her dress for my wedding there. The owner Jamie is such a sweet lady and so is Gaby. I always felt like a special bride when I came in. They also recommend Janis who is in their same building. She made my dress fit like a glove.

from the second you step into the store. I also utilized their in-house alternations and Janis was absolutely delightful. She was so easy to communicate with and she did such a wonderful job making the dress perfect for me. I would absolutely recommend this shop to any Bay Area brides.

Also, one huge perk is that the sales associates don't work on commission so you won't feel pressure to buy the dress. Plus, the discount for bridesmaid dresses after you buy your gown is nice too! Highly recommend.

ght we'd at least stop in and take a quick look - while we were there. :) We really needed to get the dress shopping going and we'd scoped out a few shops but weren't impressed. When we walked in, a lady immediately greeted us. She said we were welcome to come in and take a look around, and if we wanted to try anything on - even wedding gowns - to just let her know and she'd be happy to set us up with a fitting room. We didn't even have an appointment!! Turns out, that lady was Jamie, the shop owner. As an added benefit, she wasn't in the least bothered that we were two brides, and we weren't her first same-sex clients. Needless to say, we didn't get any taxes done that day - we ended up spending about 3 hours browsing the dresses and trying a few things on. The shop seems fairly small when you walk in, but Jamie has quite a selection. She has a ton of Maggie Sottero dresses (a brand we were particularly interested in), as well as a lot of Essence of Australia. Jamie quickly got a feel for what we thought we wanted, and then suggested some choices that we might not have considered - along with some accessories that really made the dresses pop. What's really nice is that pretty much all of her samples were in the size 10-12 range, so they mostly fit, giving us a better idea of what they'd look like on. A week later, we came back (with an appointment this time), with several friends in tow, and a list of dresses we wanted to try on. Jamie had a number of the dresses in stock, and she welcomed our friends to browse the racks. Each of them selected dresses for us to try on. All-told, we each tried on 10-15 dresses, and each found "the one." We also found our veils and jewelry. Jamie gave us a discount on the dresses since we were buying two, and all of the accessories came with a discount, too. I actually checked some of our accessories online, and her prices with discount were better than anything I found online. Over the coming months, we stopped in periodically to ask questions and pick up items that came in. Jamie and her staff remembered us by name each time and continued to treat us like valued customers. When our dresses came in, Jamie had her alterations person, Janis, help us get fitted. Janis was also great and very reasonably priced. We picked up our dresses on the way to Monterey - Jamie and her staff had the dresses pressed, hanging, and ready to go when we got there. We couldn't've asked for a better overall experience, and highly recommend J'aime Bridal.

They don't sell bridal shoes or have an in store alterations person but they recommended us to someone who does the alterations in their store. They also sell beautiful custom jewelry from tons of designers.

They let us bring in champagne, which was really nice because a lot of bridal salons won't let you. They held my dress for me until I was ready to have it altered. I used the alterations place they recommended so they took care of getting my dress to and from the shop. They also steamed it a couple days before the wedding so it looked perfect on the big day. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Their prices are reasonable, their staff is friendly, and they are professionals. They made my wedding dress experience so easy and stress free!

Even when one of my bridesmaids tried to speak up about her concern over the size they were ordering the sales lady insisted that it was the right size and if they went any smaller it wouldn't fit. Sure enough when the dress came in she was swimming in it. When we took it in for alterations the seamstress couldn't even take it in enough to fit her properly without drastically changing the shape of the dress.

I had to rush order my dress in a petite size and the owner saw that it was arriving close to my wedding date and she literally couldn't sleep! So she ended up rush ordering me another of the same dress to arrive sooner (not in petite). Sooo thoughtful I couldn't believe it!! I could go on and on about how wonderful they were. She even remembered my bridesmaids names from their weddings 5 years ago! You can tell how much they truly care.

It was so much easier than I thought and when I tried the dress on I knew it was for me! J'aime Bridal was nothing but professional and they know what they're doing. The only suggestion? cause my experience was so HORRIBLE! First of all my dress was ordered way too big and the person J'aime suggested to do the alternations did not do a good job... 3 days before my wedding I went for my final fitting and the dress was way too long, to the point where I was tripping all over myself. So they had to call the alternations lady in for an emergency alternation and I just had to hope she would actually get it right this last time- causing me way too much unnecessary last minute stress! As a bride you have enough to worry about 3 days before the wedding! But the worst experience was the bridesmaid dresses I ordered from the store... the day of the wedding 3 of the 4 dresses would not zip and one even broke, to the point where my wedding coordinator had to seriously SEW the girls into their dresses. Needless to say the dresses had to be trashed after the wedding. And because of this we were delayed an hour and were not able to take pre-wedding pictures, I was pretty devastated to say the least. When Jamie was made aware of these issues, she did NOTHING to fix it or rectify the situation. These issues seriously almost ruined my wedding day and she could not have cared less. She promised to give a partial refund and then NEVER sent the refund!! I am appalled that someone like this even owns a business. This place deserves to be put out of business, so whatever you do DO NOT GO TO J'AMIE BRIDAL!!! You will regret it!!

the phone asked if I was calling to book an appointment for their Maggie Sottero trunk show...needless to say, after I hung up, I immediately checked out her site. Funny enough, she made the same exact dress I tried on at the previous boutique. Shortly after, I visited the store with a girl-friend. I was impressed at how cozy, organized and friendly their staff & boutique was. They had a great selection of bridal/bridesmaids/mother of the bride and flower girl dresses, veils, shoes and accessories. Finally I found THE DRESS but 2 sizes up for a fraction of the original price. That said, the staff member helping me gave me a list of expert seamstresses in the area. It was through this list that I found the girl who altered my dress. She's even recommended this shop to her own daughters that were getting married around the same time as me. She praised my dress for it's simple but extremely elegant design and was shocked how little I paid. I'm pretty sure I'll pay another visit to J'aime Bridal for my next fancy party!

all over the place. when we showed up for our appt. my nerves were put to rest. the staff at J'aime was amazing. we pulled dresses and i jumped right in, to what i thought was going to be a tiring process. much to my surprise it was a piece of cake! i tried on a total of 8 styles and when i put on my dress, it was perfect. the icing on the cake was when i put on the veil. our sales girl said "bam! you just became a bride" she was right, i found my perfect dress at my first stop. the ladies at J'aime were awesome!

My consultant helped me narrow it down to my top three and i returned, this time with my mom and we narrowed the dress choice to 2, then to one! J'amie was there her self to take all my measurement and deposits. Prices here are reasonable to extravagant--all styles, elegant, and wedding appropriate. My bridal party (most) purchased their dresses here too. J'amie's bridal was very patient and accommodating, since i had 2 ladies from out-of-state or very out-of-town, and everyone was just schedule thrown. Regardless, J'amie was honest and true, they communicated well, our orders were taken and arrived on time. They even did some contacting to my bridal party about the status of their dress. My dress was ready the day of pick-up and they helped me transport the dress to my car. (i miss them!)
