Jake is an incredibly talented photographer who has a refined yet personal shooting style. You can tell that Jake cares deeply about his craft and is committed to creating images that you will cherish for a life time! My fiancee and I truly felt so taken care of and so comfortable shooting with Jake and would gladly recommend him to anyone! Jake shoots both film and digital really well and gave us so many images back from our engagement shoot which was such a great value. We are so excited to shoot with him again on our wedding day!

Jake Fosmire photographed our wedding on 10/21/23 and he did an amazing job!!! We are so glad we chose him as our wedding photographer. The photos came out absolutely beautiful. He captured all the little details of the day so beautifully. He also got so many fun candid shots on the dance floor that make us feel like we are reliving the night. He is truly a talented photographer. His photos are a work of art, rather than looking staged and posy. We could tell how passionate he is about film photography, and it shows through his photos. Jake was also very kind and made us feel super comfortable. Throughout the entire process he was always quick to respond and answer any questions. He also got our entire gallery back to us in only 3 weeks!! 10/10 recommend!

There is a reason Jake has 5 out of 5 Star reviews, he's that good! We had 170 people at our wedding and he literally captured everyone. He had an assistant photographer and it seemed like they were always everywhere! But, and this was important to me, they were never in your face or making you pose or pulling you away from your party, they just captured it all beautifully. We just received over 1,000 fantastic, artistic photos that we will cherish forever, thanks Jake!!

Honestly, it’s tough to find words. Jake was incredible. Super friendly, professional, and punctual. He seemed genuinely happy to be there and that reflected in his work. If you’re lucky enough to have Jake be your photographer, your experience will be absolutely amazing! I highly recommend Jake Fosmire. From beginning to end, it was very easy to work with him. I hired him to capture my daughter’s baptism celebration at the Wayfarers Chapel, followed by reception at the Parkers’ Lighthouse restaurant. With any event planning comes some level of stress and Jake took care of this piece of the event, took amazing pictures without having to say too much. I loved all the pictures and could instantly share with our family and friends. I feel like sometimes you have to spend so much time filtering out what you want and can share. I didn’t really have to do this. Thanks Jake for making this special day for our daughter even more special. We will treasure these captured memories for a lifetime!

Jake was awesome to work with! My now husband and I decided on a super last minute elopement at the Old Santa Ana Courthouse, we planned everything in 3 days and Jake was awesome enough to fit us into his schedule. He knew exactly what he was doing when suggesting poses and I absolutely loved each of the photos! Jake was also super friendly and nice, and he is great at what he does!

Jake was awesome! When we arrived for our scheduled time, he was already on location evaluating lighting and scouting backdrops. He had multiple ideas/recommendations for us immediately. He was friendly, respectful, enthusiastic and professional. The pictures turned out great and his turn around time was very good (quicker than we anticipated). We would highly recommend him as well as use him again ourselves.

I have never thought finding a vendor via Thumbtack app because I usually go through referrals but this time I took a chance. I found Jake and saw a few of his works and was willing to take a chance. I was go glad I went with my gut instincts. He was so responsive and also showed up in advance to set up and ready to snap snap snap. The important part was his passion, he was so into taking tons of images. He was very respectful when we have a few requests. For me, personally I let the professional do their job and it was fantastic. Jake captured all aspects of our corporate events from props, speech, desert tables, guests in candid moments and games. He also turned the edits around so fast and u was super impressed. All my staffs were super excited to see these awesome high images. Jake has put a smile on our faces and memories for life. Once again, thank you for making my hosting job so enjoyable and less heavy lifting on my end. For sure see at the you next event! You won’t regret hiring Jake :)

Wow! I can’t even begin to describe how amazing our experience was. We were super last minute in reaching out (two weeks) and although Jake was booked on our wedding date, he was super responsive and referred us to his colleague, James. James was amazing to work with, I couldn’t recommend him enough! He was super great with reaching out beforehand and giving us different ideas for locations/being flexible with us (he even came to in n out after to take a couple of pictures!), as well as helping us get comfortable in front of the camera. My face hurt from smiling so much after we had gotten our photos back, they were everything we could’ve asked for and we received so many compliments from our friends and family. I honestly couldn’t ask for better photos or service, I 100% recommend!

My husband and I absolutely loved our wedding pictures. Picking Jake for our wedding photography was one of my best decisions ever. I was initially skeptical as Jake had not photographed any Indian weddings. But he took my input and captured all the important moments so well. I'm so happy with the work that I'm recommending him to all my friends. He is not only a great photographer but also an amazing professional. He was right on time. I wasn't expecting nearly the quality of images that they delivered. They use crazy expensive equipment these guys aren't messing around seriously. Like $$$$'s of dollars worth of equipment they are showing up with. I can zoom in and in and still see detail. Really good if you have high resolution screens or need to print HUGE.

I have worked with many photographers before, but my time with Jake was EXCEPTIONAL. I found Jake on the knot 2 days before my wedding after our last photographer cancelled!!!! and with but only a short notice he made the event a day to remember forever. His packages are affordable and ability to direct a shoot is superb, and the editing is top notch!!

Wow I was totally blown away by the quality of the images Jake provided in the gallery. He told us they were 8K and I believe it! the detail was crazy and the color edits were so good. We also got some large prints from jake and they look so detailed even at 24x36. I would definitely use Jake Fosmire Photography again
