I am an editorial film wedding photographer. I love style and have an acute eye for detail and candid moments, I love capturing the raw emotions and genuine connections that make weddings truly unforgettable.
My journey in photography began with film. This foundation in the art of film photography adds a distinct touch to my work, bringing depth, warmth, and a touch of nostalgia. Though I am equally proficient in modern digital photography, I leverage cutting-edge technology to push the boundaries of creative expression. By carefully blending the best of both worlds, I deliver a captivating collection of images that showcases the essence of your love story in its truest form.
Beyond technical knowledge, I am an easygoing and collaborative professional who believes in the power of building genuine connections with my clients. I want to take the time to understand your unique vision, listening intently to your stories and dreams, to ensure that every image resonates with your individuality.

My husband and I got married last year and hired Jake to be our photographer for the big day. We loved his editorial, tasteful eye that felt very different to other wedding photogr...
aphers we looked at. I swore he had about 10 different cameras on him and an excellent second shooter – we could not be more obsessed with the photos from our wedding! We also booked Jake for our rehearsal dinner/welcome party and he captured the most beautiful, love-filled photos. I get emotional every time I look at our album. He also made everyone in our party feel so comfortable and at ease, even people who are very camera shy.
Additionally, Jake recommended our videographer, Sagebrush Films, as they work together frequently. Between photo and video, everything was seamless and every moment we wanted captured was! As someone who also works in events, I’ve since hired Jake for multiple client events because I know I can trust him to get every shot – and know they will all be absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t say better things about Jake and absolutely loved working with him!

He knows how to make everyone feel comfortable and has a way of seamlessly working with you so that you can fully experience the day and all of the emotions while capturing those moments and feelings beautifully.

e captured all the little details of the day so beautifully. He also got so many fun candid shots on the dance floor that make us feel like we are reliving the night. He is truly a talented photographer. His photos are a work of art, rather than looking staged and posy. We could tell how passionate he is about film photography, and it shows through his photos.
