Jake Reichbart is a solo guitarist and a professional wedding and event musician, based in Ann Arbor. Spanning the past 30 years, Mr. Reichbart has logged a staggering 7,500 live performances of every kind with well over 1,000 being wedding ceremonies, often coupled with the cocktail hour which usually follows and at times the entire reception for the most intimate of weddings. He is, without a doubt, the most prolific and experienced wedding guitarist in the state. Mr. Reichbart's music draws from jazz , classical, pop, rock and folk and he can arrange nearly any song imaginable as your special processional music!
Jake Reichbart has held a steady, 3-nights-a-week, solo guitar gig at the famed restaurant "The Earle" in Ann Arbor for the past 28 (!) years and going, where you can come out to meet him in a casual setting and sample the music live.
Jake Reichbart is available to perform at ceremonies, receptions, cocktail hours, rehearsals, and any other event. He is happy to work with couples and arrange guitar pieces for any songs not already in his extensive library. Although he plays solo, he can easily provide additional musicians to enhance the sound, should a larger ensemble be desired.

He was amazing. He helped relieve some stress as he knew just about every song we threw at him, but more importantly he was able to gauge our taste in music and take it from there. We didn’t need to give him a playlist. We didn’t need to worry about setting anything up or coordinating anything with a DJ. He got the gist of what we wanted to hear and then just went to work. The music was pleasant and beautifully played. We received so many comments about “our guitarist” and how talented he was and how lovely the musical atmosphere was.
Jake is professional, talented, versatile, and an all around cool dude. I would strongly recommend him for anyone looking to have cool, atmospheric guitar music at their venue. It was never too much, and by that I mean it was never too loud, attention grabbing or anything like that. It was just beautiful music that people could and would stop occasionally to say “Oh! I know this song!”. You could tell by how efficient and seemingly effortless everything was, from event coordination and the actual playing, that he’d been doing this stuff for the majority of his life.
