I am so glad that I stumbled across Jake Swoyer Media - he was recommended by a bunch of other folks in a Utah Wedding FB group! I can’t say enough about how professional Jake is and the quality of work that he provides. We booked him for an engagement and wedding shoot, both photography and videography. My husband and I were so pleased with our sessions and the final photographs/videos we received! We've never gotten professional photos taken before and he made it so easy for us and made us feel so comfortable. He also turned around the final photos and videos quickly. He worked great with the coordinators at our venue and our other vendors, and our families loved working with him the day of the wedding too. Hiring Jake for our wedding was the best decision I made. He was so flexible with time, fun to work with, affordable, and captured everything I wanted and more. We loved working with Jake- he was very communicative leading up to the event and took our vision into consideration. We requested the raw footage of the whole ceremony which he provided in addition to our highlight video. We’re very happy with both products- the highlight video was even better than we anticipated! We didn’t give much direction about the highlight video and it felt very “us” and Jake captured the vibe of the day very well. Would definitely recommend hiring Jake to be your videographer!

Jake was so fun and professional on our wedding day. He was very responsive, creative, and professional. We had a blast working with him & he made us (and our guests) feel so comfortable. Jake is awesome! We got introduced to Jake via our DJ and we're happy that we went with him. He has great communication skill; we had an initial meeting to go over our budget and our expectation of the videos. After which I shard with him our wedding timeline, we communicated via text about any wedding updates. We only had 4 hours to go both ceremony and reception so we didn't have much time to waste, and Jake's ability to work well with others added such great value to how we felt the wedding go. He delivered the videos on time. We are very happy with the wedding highlight video and the uncut ceremony video that we requested in our package.

Jake was a huge contribution to the success of the wedding. He was not intrusive nor turned our wedding into a photo shoot. When we got our photos, we could not believe how well he captured every emotion and precious moment. Throughout the entire ceremony and reception, my wife and I were pulled aside by our family and friends as they praised Jake for his friendly, kind, and FUN personality. When we got to our reception, he helped my dad carry ice from his car into the reception! He was a blast to have at our wedding and the quality of photos and videos he produced are ones that we are so proud to have and look back on. We were very lucky to have found him!

I cannot say enough about how AMAZING Jake is! We was so incredible to work with! He was so quick to respond, professional, and fun to work with! He is so funny and has the best personality that helped us feel so comfortable and take genuine pictures! Jake is an incredible photographer. My husband and I are so happy with how our pictures turned out. He made us a great short video and sent us over 450 high-quality edited photos. Jake was also extremely friendly and great at giving everyone instructions to make good photos. He is very talented and I can't recommend him enough!

I truly have so many great things to say about my experience with Jake. Starting with the most important aspect when hiring a photographer, the pictures! They were absolutly beautiful, so romantic and gorgeous edits. We were so so happy. The other things we thought was great is that Jake was so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable. He is willing to direct your posed photos if you would like, or take your direction if that is your preference. Since I had no idea of the posed shots I wanted I loved that he had ideas for us. Finally, he has been super responsive following the day and was accommodating to our requests. All in all a five star experience (and I am particular about photos).

Best decision ever to have Jake film our daughter’s wedding. His work & talent is unbelievable. Jake has a style and feel that you don’t get with your typical Utah wedding photographer/videographer…a style You want! He has an eye for capturing magical & unique shots & moments other people wouldn’t see & those moments become priceless, captured memories through his work. We could not have been happier with Jake as our wedding photographer! He really went above and beyond. He’s extremely personable but also totally professional. He makes you feel completely comfortable and have fun while you take pictures! Our wedding was in the winter, and so for our bridals Jake risked the snowy roads and super icy walkways so that we could get excellent, winter wonderland bridal shots. Like he honestly froze his butt off so that we could get amazing pictures! I’m a person that gets super stressed for big events like this, but for both the bridals and the wedding, even though it was definitely not always easy for him, he’s always chill and dynamic and makes everyone have fun and feel at ease. His prices are totally reasonable but his work is top-notch professional. We were especially happy when we got the product, we couldn’t be more excited about our pictures and our experience! I’m seriously going to recommend him to all my friends, the quality of his photos for his amazing prices is a total steal.

Jake is so much fun to work with and we absolutely loved our bridal shoot video and our wedding day highlight video. He is quick to edit and very responsive. Jake was incredibly chill and calm throughout the entire process and was very easy to work with. The videos were fantastic and we got so many compliments on both the videos and Jake!

Jake did a phenomoenal job on our wedding photos. Although it was just a courthouse ceremony, he picked out several great spots to help us remember the special day. The quality of the photos is first rate...not just image quality but the spontaneous moments that he was able to capture. Those are the ones that made us both cry when we looked through them for the first time. He is lightning fast with his camera settings and adjustments, which means he seems to be always ready to snap the shutter. Great communication prior to and after our day as well. He had our retouched/edited album back to us in about a week, which was really fast turnaround. Highly recommended and I would use Jake again in a heartbeat.

We recently hired Jake to be the videographer for our daughters wedding. Let me first start out by saying, Wow! He helped me navigate the whole thing and was there to answer any questions we had. He walked me through everything he was doing and going to do. Jake captured every aspect of the wedding, from the beginning to the end. The highlight video he did of the wedding was so much more than we expected. He was so wonderful to work with. Jake was professional and just fun to be around. There is not enough words to explain how much I loved working with jake! 3 days before my wedding my photographer I had booked originally had covid. I reached out to jake and he was more than happy to help me out. He dropped any personal plans he had to save me from having no photographer on my wedding day. He made sure I felt calm and comfortable even though we had never met until my actual wedding day. He was amazing. He got all of the photos I wanted and more. He was so easy to work with I couldn’t believe I lucked out finding such a good photographer 3 days before my wedding. He did our engagement photos, a really awesome wedding video with an extra session in the mountains, and hung out with us all day on the wedding day! We loved working with Jake! We booked him as our videographer for our backyard wedding. He was very communicative during the time leading up to the event. On the day of our wedding he arrived on time and immediately got to work. He did video and pictures for us. His personality was so fun that we immediately felt comfortable around him, so all our pictures look natural. He was everywhere making sure to capture every moment, constantly taking video, getting detail shots of everything, it was great!
