About this vendor

Hi, I'm Jakub! Recently The New York Wedding Awards recognized my studio as one of "TOP 2 BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN NYC" - and I could not be more proud of this title! I fell into the wedding world circa 2015. Over time I have curated an amazing team of photographers that are just as excited and passionate about creating the most amazing images possible on your wedding day. Our image style parallels the Vogue standard - the perfect blend of a contemporary aesthetic with a classic timelessness. Photos that are elegant and make an unforgettable impact. We make everyday people look and feel like they belong on the cover of Brides Magazine, but with that said, we also keep it real! You work directly with me, not a massive studio that does hundreds of weddings a year and has a weekly or monthly talent turnover. We become friends, I help with logistics, and then we party together! You don't speak with a sales rep for one thing and then have someone else spend your entire wedding day with you. We primarily serve Long Island, the Metro NYC area, NJ, and Hudson Valley but certainly don't hide our excitement when travel opportunities arise for destination weddings. Personally I have photographed couples in Iceland, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Barbados, and Santorini, Greece among other locations around the US. This destination work is showcased on the website linked above. If you're looking for wedding photography that is clean, timeless and classic I would love to hear more about your wedding day! Clients on average invest between $5000-9000 on their collections. Full day packages (up to 12 hours) start at 3800. Elopements (up to 2 hours) start at 1000.

Jakub exceeded our expectations as a photographer; we could not recommend him enough. Everything about him, from his personality to his skills as a photographer was just superb! Ja...

kub was super friendly and patient whilst photographing our wedding. His shots were just incredible. Our wedding planner arranged for Jakub to shoot our wedding so we had no contact with him until the day of our wedding; we checked out some of his work on Instagram but that was it. When you don’t get to meet someone in person prior to such an important event, you naturally have some what ifs but Jakub was just brilliant from the get go. From the moment he arrived at our hotel on the morning of the wedding, he was just so professional and nice, it didn’t even feel like we were meeting him for the first time. Our wedding planner coordinated a lot with Jakub and we gave her a list of photos we wanted taken which she passed onto Jakub and there wasn’t one thing on our list that Jakub capture! We received our complete wedding collection less than a week after the wedding itself which was amazing; usually people are waiting months for their wedding photos and since we eloped without telling anyone we really wanted to show everyone back home our photos as soon as possible. The collection just blew our mind. The quality of the shots were like nothing we’ve ever seen before. Every single person we shared our photos with were astounded; I don’t know how many people told us the photos were by far the best wedding photos they ever seen. Coming from Ireland and the UK, not one person we’ve shown our photos to has ever seen a wedding collection quite like it. The photos were beautiful, elegant, vibrant, romantic, like something out of a magazine. Jakub really captured our special day so perfectly and now we have a wonderful collection of photos which tells our beautiful story and that we will always cherish. Words cannot even begin to explain just how amazing our photos are and how happy we are with Jakub’s work! Jakub himself was such a nice guy. He really put us at ease on the day. I’m quite a shy person and was camera shy to begin with. Jakub actually said at the start “am I going to have to keep asking you to smile for the entire day” but before long the nerves disappeared, the confidence increased and I felt totally comfortable posing for the shots and didn’t take notice of the NYC crowds. Jakub really put me at ease and made me feel more extroverted during our session with him. Jakub was really helpful and carried some of our possessions during the photo session. He attached my tripod to a fence with my phone so we could have the ceremony recorded. He covered all his bases with the photos and got multiple shots from every possible angle. It was New York’s hottest day of the year, like 100°F +, and our ceremony was outside. Jakub wore pants without complaint which was insane and when we asked why he wasn’t in something cooler, he said he wanted to be dressed appropriately for the wedding which just sums up how nice a guy he is and is a testament to his professionalism. Not that we would have minded in the slightest had he been in shorts; my husband himself would have been in shorts had he known it would be that hot! He was just a really cool guy and the best at what he does so it’s a win, win! We highly recommend Jakub (500%!!) Thank you so much, Jakub!!!! Stephanie and Jack - Ireland

All we can say is that Jakub was absolutely fantastic on our wedding day! We loved working with him for the couple of hours - we had a really good laugh. It was nice that it was so...

relaxed and we could have a chat - very personable. He really knew his stuff like where and how to get the best photos and went above and beyond for us even jumping in amongst the bushes to get the perfect picture. The pictures he took blew us away when we saw them, he captured the day exactly how it happened and even created pictures where it looks as though we were the only people in Central Park when clearly that is never the case. Jakub was perfectly on time, and kept checking his list of types of photos we had sent to our wedding planner so that he didn't miss anything. He always worked so hard to get the perfect shot on each pose. Thank you so much Jakub for capturing our special day you really added to our day by making us feel so relaxed!

Jakub is a life-saver! Our first photographer fell through just 3 weeks before our wedding, but now we're glad that happened, because we got Jakub instead. From the start, he was p...

rofessional, patient, and committed to getting the best shots. We had three locations - a church, NYC skyline, and our reception venue. I was concerned about not knowing how to pose for the photos, but he graciously directed us to the best positions and angles for a variety of backdrops. We had a couple hitches along the way, including a limo with a broken AC, but he was patient and helpful through all of it. (He even made sure that the drivers had the right address for the photo shoot when we forgot about it.) Finally, the photographs themselves are breathtaking. Jakub is skilled at both portraits and candids, and had a real eye for a good photo. There were a couple times we thought we should leave a particular spot, but then Jakub would urge us to just give it one more shot, and we're so glad he did. I generally don't like overly dramatic wedding photos, but with his guidance the pictures looked both natural and unique. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for high quality photography and an awesome guy to work with!

e for us on our most stressful day. He was at ease every step of the way and had very creative ideas on poses and picture settings. All of this made us feel very comfortable and calm in front of the camera. The pictures came out STUNNING and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. He was able to catch incredible moments for us and our family and friends to remember on our happiest day. We recommend him for any photography needs and are more than sure he won't disappoint! Thank you so much Jakub!

eginning. We booked him about 10 months out, and he checked in periodically to see how we were doing, and to help us build the plan for our big day. He started out with an easy phone call with us to learn more about us, and what we were looking for. He provided a ton of advice and comfort throughout what could be a really stressful process - he ended up creating our day-of schedule that our family and wedding party could follow which made it super easy for us. He arrived early on wedding day, and took getting ready photos, set up our first look, and then took all of the couple, family, and wedding party photos before the wedding started (at our request) so we could enjoy all parts of the wedding. He instructed us the whole time, and made us feel comfortable even though my (now) husband and I didn't love being in the spotlight and in front of the cameras. He ended up staying longer than scheduled to ensure he captured all of the fun. We then received all 600 (!!) pictures of the wedding only THREE days after our wedding day. They come in a super easy online link that you can share with family and friends to download and keep forever. We loved literally every single picture. They came out crisp, and clear but also very natural and real-looking. We cannot recommend Jakub enough as a wedding photographer - we can't think of one negative thing to say about him. If you want a reasonably-priced, relaxed, comfortable, fun, and REALLY good photographer for your wedding, book Jakub before he gets too famous!!

e photo shooting session was delayed due to traffic and Jakub was so patient and kind to wait for around 20 minutes for us to arrive. He even told me not to worry and not to feel stressed which was kind of him given the significant delay. Jakub is very talented and he really knows how to capture great photos and moments. All the photos from our photoshoot were absolutely beautiful; we were so very comfortable and the photos look very natural. Following the photoshoot we headed to the ceremony and also there Jakub managed to capture incredible shots showing every single detail in our ceremony. He gave us a perfect gallery in a short period of time and before that he gave us a preview which we thought was great of him. In summary, we highly recommend Jakub as a wedding photographer (and a photographer for any occasion really!). He is talented, professional, accommodating and very kind. Thank you so much, Jakub, for your amazing work! Your shots will allow us to share our special day with people we love forever!

hen you hire Jakub, you’re not just getting an amazing photographer, you’re getting a fantastic partner in what will undoubtedly be the most stressful time in your life. Jakub makes himself available in the months (yes, months, because I’m crazy anxious), weeks, and days leading up to your big day, and then acts as the calm, but necessary leader on the day itself. Jakub helped me shape my wedding timeline and never got frustrated at my silly questions or small tweaks — all really huge for me, as I had NO clue what I was doing at any point in this process, but still planned it all myself, ha! I worked with Jakub first for my engagement session, and we loved the photos so much that we went out a second time with our pups. Both sessions were beautiful and unique because Jakub put in 120% for every minute we spent with him. He’s intuitive and unafraid, willing to get his hands dirty, move furniture, sit in puddles, and wrangle dogs to get the perfect shot — which is especially impressive when every shot is perfect. For someone like me, who is super awkward in front of a camera, Jakub will guide you in how to stand, what to do with your hands, and how to make you look happy and relaxed even when you’re a big ball of nerves. Our third and final session was for my wedding on July 1 2019, and it was just as fantastic as the ones before it. He is an amazing photographer with a real gift, and he blended in seamlessly with my friends and family on the big day. Jakub is also funny, and kind, and just someone you’d love to grab a beer with and chat, which is always a nice bonus. Each session was a wonderful experience with an amazing photographer and now I’m just trying to figure out how I can get married every month for the next 100 years so I can work with him in perpetuity. I recommend Jakub wholeheartedly and I can’t wait to be in awe of his work forever.

emained in the background during the party but captured great shots and was always on hand when we needed him. He clearly knows exactly what he is doing and knew how to get great shots out of us on our special day. Besides the wedding/marriage itself, the photos are our favorite memento of the day. They will be treasured for years to come. Cannot say enough about the fact that you should hire him!! He travels, so, no matter where you are, give him a call!
