y makes you feel as if you are with one of your old friends. She had super cute techniques in order to get my fiance and I laughing and smiling in a genuine fun way. The whole entire shoot was a blast, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to capture their special life moments.
When I started looking for a photographer for my wedding, I didn't even know where to start. To be honest, Eddie kind of found me which was great! She sent me a few DM's on Instagr...
am commenting on my pictures so I decided to take a look at her website. After setting up a facetime call with her, I knew she would be perfect! She has a very calm demeanor which was exactly what I was looking for!
The whole wedding day, Eddie was efficient and stuck to the timeline we had come up with. We had a slight delay since my husband and groomsmen had no idea how to tie a bow tie! Luckily, she was there to assist. The thing I specifically asked for was that she capture the reception because I was most excited about the party. To be honest, I feel like I didn't even see her but when the pictures came back she had captured all the moments perfectly. She also pulled us to the side at one point during the reception to give us a sneak peak of the photos from earlier in the day. So perfect! The day goes by so quick so it was nice to take a moment to look back on what happened earlier in the day.
Our engagement photos and wedding photos turned out AMAZING! We were even lucky enough to get some of the wedding photos shared by some major bridal social media pages on Instagram which is always fun!
I would highly recommend Eddie to anyone looking for a photographer. She worked with us to make sure we stayed in our budget and never pushed us to do anything more. Her response time was always quick and I knew I could count on her to make sure that the wedding day ran smoothly and that the pictures would be great.
Eddie, thank you again for capturing our wedding so beautifully!

ing on my wedding dress (we were a bit confused on the lace up process). Eddie showed great patience and understanding towards the bridal party, especially our challenging ring bearer. It is clear that she understands photography and captures the important moments. I would recommend her 100% without hesitation. Eddie, I will most definitely call on you for future projects. THANK YOU for EVERYTHING!!!
When beginning the wedding planning process, there were two vendors I was placing the most emphasis on: photographer and florist. I came across Jalapeno Photography (after lots of ...
Instagram searching for Washington, DC area wedding photographers) very early in the wedding planning process, and had very little vision for the day. My fiancé and I got together for an initial meeting with Eddie, and we instantly felt at ease. She helped walk us through the whole day, and even sketched an outline. (Given we had no idea where to start, this was a huge help!!). By the end of our initial meeting, we knew we wanted to work with Eddie! Unfortunately, she was shooting another wedding on our date, but assured us her senior associate Melissa would step in and do a great job. Fast forward a few months to when we had our engagement shoot with Eddie and Melissa – absolutely fantastic. We felt so comfortable the whole time, and we were blown away with the photos we received. When it came to our wedding day, there was no doubt we were in good hands! Yet again, the photos we received were stunning. We cannot thank Jalapeno Photography enough for capturing our love and wedding day so perfectly!
Eddie is fabulous! She did such a beautiful job with our engagement and wedding photos. She finished editing our pictures SO FAST, and she even had pictures ready to show us during...
our reception! All of her pictures are so fantastic, but she is also a lovely person to work with. She really walked us through the whole process and brought up things we would have never come up with on our own. She was able to make us feel comfortable and confident when we might have otherwise felt awkward or self conscious. We also had a second shooter the day of our wedding, Melissa Carter, who did a great job as well. We know we will be looking at these pictures for the rest of our lives and so glad we chose Jalapeño Photography :)

y I was timid and a little nervous. Eddie immediately put me at ease with her calm and fun personality. She knows exactly what she's doing and her talent is incredible. I couldn't actually believe it was me in those photos, and my husband adored them!
She also photographed my wedding day from start to finish, and I couldn't have imagined it without her. She was so organized, poised, fun. She so obviously loves what she does and that attitude permeates an entire room.
She was able to efficiently coordinate all the family and guest photos. Her timeline was seamless and smooth. She captured so many moments and I am truly thankful for her. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!

gh the end of the night. Eddie not only took amazing pictures but her personality was perfect as well. She was able to keep us relaxed during couple portraits and keep the groups organized during the bigger pictures. She was a pleasure to work with and I'm so happy we got to work with her.
Her photos speak for themselves, so obviously you can't go wrong there. I want to speak to how great she is to work with and her dedication, professionalism.

ly fantastic from start to finish, including a VERY large bump in the road (a giant freaking blizzard and an equally giant last minute change of plans).
Everything from the logistics of coordinating the day (a headache but essential) when she worked hard to make sure that we were getting what we wanted out of the day (SO important when every vendor and individual has their own agenda for the schedule) to some dressing/decor tips and other fun stuff.
She was willing to come out the day before the blizzard and camp out (at a time when all other vendors were pushing for a move to Sunday and eventually the venues both closed for the whole weekend so we were done), and then got herself dug out and to us on Sunday once a small, intimate ceremony had been planned for the family that had been snowed in with us, followed by an afternoon taking bridal portraits in the snow, and an evening at a restaurant.
And just all-around, both my husband and I are a bit camera shy (or camera-awkward) but she put us both at ease and we had a blast, and look relaxed and happy and we have unique and beautiful photos and memories for years to come!
Eddie and her 2nd shooter stayed all night! They were EVERYWHERE but we never in the way or took attention away from what was going on. We dont have our images back just yet, but I...
