Booking with Jalie saved us tons of time - they handled all the logistics and vendor coordination leading up to the wedding itself, which just made our lives so much easier. They are thorough and truly think of everything -- there were many times where Emily asked me a question and I realized it was something I hadn't thought about at all (even though I'd consider myself a very hands-on bride!). They have several detailed questionnaires that you fill out so they can map out all your logistical needs as well. In addition to the logistics of it all, they really care about getting the vibe right and making sure that our interests and values are front and center of the planning process. The biggest benefit for me was having Emily create our day-of timeline. This was not something I would have done very well on my own, and she was there during the wedding day to make sure we stayed on schedule. She also provided timelines customized and provided for each vendor, so they knew where they needed to be and when, too. Finally, Emily was so wonderful to work with. I always enjoyed our planning meetings and she was flexible with our schedules. She honestly didn't miss a beat. You cannot go wrong with Jalie Events for your wedding!

I was incredibly happy with the year we spent with Emily. We felt wedding planning was a breeze and never once felt stressed with all the planning that needed to be done. From the beginning, Emily took the time to get to know us as a couple, which allowed her to really tailor all design & vendor selections based on our energy and vibe. During the design stage, she came prepared with examples and ideas but was also very open to suggestions and tailoring her design board to our edits & thoughts. She provided vendor selections that were within our budget but also that she had worked with in the past that were reliable, so it made my decision on who to choose so easy. On the wedding day itself, I was amazed at how seamless everything was. There were some minor hiccups (like the wedding party's shuttle stuck in traffic before picking us up), but the team handled them without causing a panic and we barely noticed anything had happened. I could not imagine going through a year of wedding planning with out Emily and can't recommend her enough!

Two weeks before the wedding our venue called to say that “due to Covid” they were no longer able to host us. (queue the meltdown) Emily immediately sprung into gear. Together, in 8 days, we replanned every detail at a new venue. Since I do not live locally, Emily became my eyes and ears. I truly do not know what we would have done without her! On the day of our wedding, Emily and team were there to make sure everything ran smoothly. I’m positive that there are lots of things she resolved that I don’t even know happened.
