The best wedding photographers ever! We highly recommend James & Jess. They will make you feel comfortable and beautiful on your big day. The photos they take will last a lifetime ...
and they are well worth the investment. Bonus - James and Jess are so fun, easy and nice to work with!
You NEED to hire James & Jess as your wedding photographers!! They were the first vendor we booked for our wedding and we could not have been happier with our decision. Not only di...
d we get absolutely stunning photographs from our engagement shoots (in both Santa Barbara and NYC), but our wedding photos were phenomenal and perfectly captured every element of the day.
On top of that, not only do we LOVE James & Jess for the amazing photographers that they are, but we truly love them for the people they are as well! We got to spend quality time with them during our engagement shoots, they sent cute care packages to check in on us during our postponement due to covid, and we have continued to hang out with them even after our wedding! Their positive energy and magnetic spirits make everyone instantly feel at ease like they're talking to a best friend. No matter where your wedding is taking place, you should 100% hire James & Jess! They travel the world and will make your wedding experience feel truly magical!
Before I was even engaged I had sought out James & Jess photography for years! They are not only an incredibly talented couple but they are also the nicest humans you will ever mee...
t! They made my husband and I feel at ease the entire wedding day! The directions they provide you to create an effortless shot are so simple and fun! We felt so incredibly comfortable & safe to share such an intimate day with them! The photos are beyond fantastic as I know we will cherish them forever! Highly recommend James & Jess Photography!!
Okay I was going to wait until after the wedding to write a review but here’s the deal, we had our engagement shoot with them and I already treasure those photos. Ridiculously gorg...
eous, so much fun, and we always hate our photos so that was wonderful. BUT BRIDES: every time we meet with a vendor, they ask who else we’ve booked. Every time I saw who our photographer is THEY SWOON. Other vendors! Swooning! Over James and Jess! They see hundreds of weddings annually and that’s who they want us to use. We’ve had vendors ask to make recommendations and we ask who they want to recommend it usually goes: I’m sorry if you’ve already booked someone else but please book James & Jess for photography! Can you imagine how comforting that is?? As a bride where you’re second guessing constantly, that decision (and it was our first and we were obsessed so we booked them the week before our venue - 🤷🏼♀️) has been confirmed time and time again. They’re not the most expensive out there (we were quoted more for less hours and services) but they’re not cheap. We knew we wanted good photography because it’s the one thing we knew we’d have forever. We haven’t even had our wedding and I’d recommend them to anyone even considering getting married anywhere. Also, good relations with literally every other vendor in the area speaks volumes. They’re fun, personable, professional, and damn good at what they do. Happy planning!
Words can't even describe how incredible this couple is! From the moment of our first interaction all the way through our engagement shoot they made us feel so comfortable in front...
of the camera. They are the sweetest people and are so talented at photographing couples and capturing the true love. I am so excited to have them for our wedding as I know their work is absolutely extraordinary. It's so important to click and get along with your vendors for a wedding, especially photographers - and James and Jess made us feel like we had already been great friends for several lifetimes. Highly recommend this amazing duo!
The absolute best two humans beings to capture your love for one another. A complete pleasure to work with and they know how to get THE perfect photo with the best backdrop. 100%...
recommend you hire this incredible couple and you'll be blown away by their talent and love for photography.
James and Jess’ photos speak for themselves as to how beautiful they are. But I can’t say enough for how amazing they are in person! They make you feel like the most beautiful peop...
le in the world and that they have ever photographed, which obviously makes for the most gorgeous photos because YOU are confident in them. We had an engagement session with them before the wedding to get to know them. I sent them the dresses I was planning on wearing and they told me I should pick a new one, because the other one wouldn’t photograph well. So, I went shopping, sent them pictures, and they helped me pick out a new one. All that to say, they go above and beyond to make you feel special. They do so much more than what is asked of wedding photographers. I also did bridal portraits with them, which turned out to be so lovely. They sent us sneak peek pictures the very next day and then we got all of our wedding photos actually while we were on our honeymoon. There were some photos I wish I had gotten that I didn’t get, but that was my fault for not telling them. I also wish we had more, but you can never have enough photos! We are currently working with them to make our photo album and we are so excited to receive it! Overall, I can’t recommend them enough for your event!
ABSOLUTELY loved this duo. Besides your new spouse, you spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day and James & Jessica were an absolute joy to work with. They b...
lend seamlessly into the day and captured so many special moments without be obtrusive. My family LOVES them so much, we want to travel to Santa Barbara and take family portraits and of course grab some drinks.

f course, during the wedding. More importantly, they captured the wedding day SO beautifully and I have so many amazing photos to look back on for years to come. I highly recommend James & Jess.
Seriously, couldn't have asked for better photographers. From the first FaceTime call to just getting all our photos (10 days after the wedding!) James and Jess are simply the best...
of the best. They made my photo shy husband and I so comfortable and just made us laugh through the whole thing. Their pictures are absolutely stunning, and we can't stop wondering who the models in the pictures are! We could not recommend them highly enough, and hope to use them for anniversary and baby photos in the future! (My husband keeps saying he wished they were our best friends!)
I can't even put into words how amazing James & Jess are. I could go on and on about their work for both engagement and wedding photos as I am soooo soo soo very happy with my prod...
uct (as well as everyone else commenting on how beautiful our photos are), however it is more than just their photography that makes them amazing. James and Jess are not only a super cute husband/wife team that are fun to hang out with and put you at ease, but on our wedding day they were the ones who were constantly checking in on us and making sure out drinks were full and our bellies happy. I did not have to worry at all on our day whether they were getting pictures of everything I wanted or that they were capturing all the right moments, and that you can't put a price on. I wish I could use them for every special occasion in my life!

nd made my husband and I feel so comfortable the whole time and the pictures were magical. Better than we could have ever imagined. All in all, I would just say don't miss out on the opportunity to get to know such an incredible person.

Her prices are worth it because pictures are tangible memories for us and we are so pleased with how all of the pictures turned out. In addition to her talent, Jessica is alway a joy to work with. She is friendly, spunky, funny, fun, and she knows how to work with people in a way that gets things done in a good and timely manner. Our family shots at the wedding went so smoothly and so quickly because she was able to shuffle people in and out so well. People wanted to listen and follow her directions.
We may have been special, but we got out photos very quickly, within a few weeks for both engagement and wedding. It was incredible.
I highly recommend meeting with Jessica and using her for whatever photography needs you have!
