One of the best decisions we made was hiring James as our wedding photographer! We booked James for our wedding and the package we chose came with an engagement shoot as well. Both shoots were amazing and thank gosh we did an engagement shoot because it really prepares you for taking photos on your wedding day. When you hire a photographer, you’re looking for unforgettable photos and James delivered. Not only was he incredible easy to work with, he is was also thoughtful, creative, an excellent communicator. His calm demeanor is exactly what you need on the wedding day. Our friends and family commented to us numerous times how much they enjoyed working with him as well. He listened to our ideas, had plenty of his own and guided us through both days while having fun the entire time. He also went the extra mile and made sure to get photos of all the details of the day, tons of candid’s and even pulled us aside for a quick shoot when the sun was setting so we could have a few more pictures that he knew we would want. We have been blown away by the photos and can’t thank him enough for doing such an excellent job from start to finish. James is essential to any wedding we can’t recommend him enough.

We can't recommend James enough! His work is beautiful - he captures the million fleeting moments of a wedding day impeccably. Not only does he take beautifully posed and positioned portraits, but he also captures the guests and moments you miss as the bride/groom. The true candids from our wedding day are amongst our favorites. Besides being blown away by the final album, James is truly a wonderful person and great addition to anyone's wedding day. He is calm and collected and extremely kind. He is ready to take charge when needed. Our day of timing ran very late and James made sure he finished the day getting all requested photos. Us and all of our guests loved him and his presence on our wedding day! Choosing a photographer was a difficult decision for us and we have no doubt we made the best decision going with James.

James was the absolute best! We hired James for both the engagement photos and our wedding! He made us feel comfortable, despite us not being used to taking this many photos. The photos are stunning-- we love how natural and candid they are. They really captured the day! On top of amazing photos, he was also wonderful to have there on our wedding day! Our family and friends loved hanging out with him all day!

Hiring James Anderson was the single best decision we made for our wedding. He understood exactly what we wanted with minimal direction, was within budget, and was very communicative and accommodating (even after the wedding, when family members emailed him nonstop about printing photos!). He was also a lovely presence at the event itself -- even our guests commented at how kind and endearing he was! Above all, he captured the spirit of the day with an amazing eye to detail and a clear talent and passion for what he does. I've never loved photos more than the ones James took for us at our wedding. 10 out of 5 stars.
