Jim Binnion

Owner

Jim started making jewelry in high school. As he grew older he was drawn to the beauty and workmanship of Japanese craft. He found his passion in mokume gane. Mokume combines his artistry as well as his analytical brain. Mokume requires high degree of expertise and understanding of metal (and ability to problem-solve) to laminate and artistry to create the ring and jewelry designs. Jim works with his wife Terry who handles the business aspects of JBMA. He loves to cook, especially spicy foods and experimenting instead of just following recipes. He especially enjoys their 3 pups!
