About this vendor
My style is candid, natural, and genuinely personal. I’m here to capture the real moments, the laughter, the emotion, the unexpected joy that unfold when all your favorite people come together in one place. Weddings have a rare kind of magic, and I want your photos to reflect that beautifully.
Most of the day, I’m a quiet observer. This “fly on the wall” approach helps everyone feel at ease and forget the camera is even there, allowing me to create upbeat, authentic images that truly feel like you. We’ll carve out a little time for family portraits, wedding party photos, and timeless couples’ portraits. But I’m always focused on keeping things efficient so you can get back to celebrating with the people you love.
Above all, I’m committed to creating photos that stand the test of time. I avoid trends, chase genuine connection, and anticipate moments as they naturally unfold. Your wedding photos should still feel fresh and meaningful decades from now, images that let you relive the joy of your day again and again, and share it with generations to come.

that instantly put us at ease. His calm, confident approach made the entire day feel effortless.
James has an incredible eye. He knows exactly how to find the best angles, the best lighting, and the most natural moments. Watching him work with multiple cameras and lenses so seamlessly was impressive. He captured every detail without ever interrupting the flow of the day.
What truly set James apart was his turnaround time. He surprised us with same day sneak peeks, which is almost unheard of, and our full gallery was delivered far quicker than we expected. The photos were stunning, clear, emotional, and truly told the story of our day.
James is professional, talented, efficient, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Hiring him was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. We cannot recommend him enough.

re going for. Plus, he was a very calming and organized presence - he took charge when we needed someone to and ensured we got the shots we wanted. We hired a second shooter as well, which we definitely recommend! You won't regret choosing James!
James was FANTASTIC. We highly recommend booking James for your wedding.
Our wedding was in Florida, but we live in Maryland, so we didn’t get to meet James in person before the ...
wedding. We trusted him to do our photography based on his reviews, portfolio, and his friendly personality.
He let us swap out our complimentary engagement shoot for rehearsal dinner coverage.
The morning of the wedding, he texted me asking if I wanted coffee, champagne or anything else. He brought me and my girls champagne. He stayed all day, it was at least 10 hours. He was so patient and kind, even with my constant requests for random shots on the spot. His calm, cool, and collected attitude kept all of us calm and made a calm & happy bride.
He sent us a “preview” album of our wedding photos at 10am the DAY AFTER our wedding. Less than 24 hours later. They are STUNNING. We are so happy with them and cannot wait to see the rest.
Hire James for your wedding.. you will not be disappointed! His photos will be ones we will show our kids, grandkids, and will cherish for the rest of our lives!

James is so easy to work with and really took the time to get all different kinds of shots of the wedding, including so many I wouldn’t have thought to get. Our reception pictures are some of our absolute favorites! So many family members and wedding guests have commented how personable James is, and he was never too in your face with the camera. Sometimes we didn’t even know he was there!
We chose to include a wedding video with our photos and James knocked it out of the park! It was exactly what we were looking for.

Not only does James have a great eye for gorgeous photo composition and cool lighting, he also exudes a chill yet on-top-of-things vibe which is the ideal mix on your wedding day. We never felt rushed or stressed, the photos just flowed seamlessly throughout the day. He caught so many sweet authentic moments on camera and struck the perfect balance of staged portraits with genuine candids.
Also, we got married on October 1st in Charleston, the day after Hurricane Ian came through. We really had no idea what to expect with our photos, but James totally rolled with it and figured out the perfect places for us to take our photos without having to deal with mud from flooding the previous day. We are SO happy with how our photos turned out and the whole process. Book James for your wedding ASAP!! You will be so glad.

ovid, our families and guests weren’t comfortable traveling, especially since SC had become a hotspot. We were heart broken, but decided to move our wedding to NJ where we live, since outdoor weddings were being allowed.
I contacted James, to inform him I’d have to cancel, never expecting a refund - let alone what he would respond with! James is also originally from NJ and offered to travel up to NJ for our newly planned wedding here.
I was at a loss for words. We had such a hard time with the venue, and other vendors while cancelling, I never could have imagined he’d be so generous and understanding.
We were thrilled to have him shoot our wedding. Our families loved him, and it felt like he was just hanging out with us.
I’ll forever be thankful to you James for handling such a difficult & uncertain time, with such professionalism, understanding and generosity.
Book him. Now. Best decision you’ll make.
