I am a TV and radio personality and an accomplished DJ with more 25 years of experience that I bring to your function. I have my own equipment with more than 20,000 songs. And with wifi, I can download any song. I've done more than 4,000 functions, with more than half of them weddings. And here's how I am different from other DJ companies, I personally do more than 90 percent of my weddings.

I was so indecisive about the songs I wanted for my wedding and James was AWESOME! He helped me with this process which made it so easy. He asked me questions about my music taste and suggested some wonderful songs that I used. He takes requests. YAY! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS SERVICES! James supported our 50th multi-class reunion for Fountain-Ft Carson HS on Sept 7th at Venetucci Farms (a great venue) and was fantastic! He was responsive, showed up for "set up" early and had a great sound system, with lights. James was helpful, funny, cooperative and helped us MC the night from 5:30 to after 11 pm. He spun some great tunes from the 70's and kept the night going with various announcements and reminders. Everyone loved him and his assistant, CJ and they truly made the night, both memorable and so much fun! For all of us in our 60's and 70's the dance floor was packed with people for more than 2 hours ... and nobody hurt themselves! Thank you James and you have our highest recommendations and wish you and your company the absolute best!

James Brown was an amazing DJ! Not only did he help me come up with an incredible variety of music, he basically emcee'd the entire party from beginning to end. During the dinner, we had Irish dancers. James played their music, as well as music for the dinner, and then let the guests know that the party was moving up to the barn loft. Once we got up to the loft, he timed all of the special songs perfectly and then really got the dance floor swinging with his energy, enthusiasm and great music. James is a top notch DJ and an all around great guy! I had the opportunity to work with him outside of my wedding and he was always such a joy to be around. I would highly recommend James for any special event that requires a DJ with great taste in music as well as an ability to bring out the best in all of the guests! He truly made my wedding so special and I felt as though he was part of our family.

James was the dj for our wedding last month and he went above and beyond. From my first email to him all the way to breaking down his equipment he was always very kind and professional. He made sure we had a great reception and all of our guests had fun dancing. I would highly recommend him to anyone for all occasions

I've worked with James over 20 years for events including our vow renewal, a high school reunion, and my son's wedding reception. Additionally, James has been the DJ of choice for a private event I have attended since the 90's. James is professional, reliable and knowledgeable: he understands the importance of having a successful event, regardless of size or venue. His demeanor and "can do" approach helps to minimize the stress of putting together an event with many moving parts. I can always rely on James to show up well ahead of schedule, set up and be ready way before the event. There's no one else I would consider working with whenever I need a DJ for an event - James is simply the best there is in the business!

We had him dj our wedding this past June and he was wonderful! He did an excellent job, and met with us before the wedding to plan out the big day! He was really professional, kind and understanding with changing our mind with songs. Highly recommend booking James Brown to dj your events!

James is an excellent DJ for any occasion, but weddings are his best. He had our wedding celebration up 'n movin'. From 8 to 80, everyone got to hear their favorite song. James' setup was quick, his performance seamless and was very reasonably priced. I would recommend him to anyone.

I decided last min to do a DJ and we found James Brown. He was great made it easy asked all the questions we didn't think of. We had a small wedding and it was great, everything went on que and everyone there enjoyed him. I appricate everything he did for us. Honestly I would not of wanted any other DJ. Also, one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Thanks again.

I've used James multiple times for events thrown by the Women's Council of Realtors Pike's Peak, and he has never let us down!! James is punctual, professional, and can immediately get a feel for the room. I would not only recommend him, but would definitely hire him again!

When we got engaged I knew right away that I wanted James to DJ our wedding. He has the best voice, he’s funny and very professional. He is very easy to get a hold of a quick to respond. He met with us a couple weeks before the wedding to find out what kind of music we liked. He listened very well and played a great selection of songs. He performed our wedding and reception. I would recommend him to anyone having a special event.

We just celebrated our 11th year wedding anniversary the other day. As we reminisce about our special day recounting all of the wonderful highlights, James Brown is most definitely part of those great memories! We held our wedding and reception at the same venue so James was both our DJ and emcee. He met with us earlier to find out our likes, preferences and to lay out a plan. He was very professional, knowledgeable and talented in speaking and playing the right music just at the right time. He made sure our guests were thoroughly entertained and kept the show going. He is a big part of a successful, and more importantly, memorable moment in our lives! We highly recommend James for your wedding or any event as a DJ and emcee. He has a voice of gold and a huge selection of music and he's not afraid to use them! James was amazing at our wedding. He played exactly the variety we were looking for and kept people on the dance floor continuously for over 4 hours. He was great with announcements for dinner, toasts, cake cutting, dances, and everything else we needed. He's very easy to work with and with his 20 years of experience, he was able to get every single song request that was given to him. He's also very reasonably priced compared to the other DJ's I checked out, and he's very reliable. I would recommend using James's services in a heart beat!
