Had the best experience with Jim. Your photographer is the wedding vendor you spend the most time with on your big day so both quality and personality were a must for me. I met Jim...
while he was shooting a friends wedding and knew he was extremely personable. More importantly, he provided quality and extremely timely photos. My friend had a mini wedding due to Covid and will have a larger vow renewal in the future...Jim was so accommodating to this change. For my wedding, he was the vendor I never I had to worry about during the planning process because he proactively followed up to confirm details. Photos were delivered sooner than I ever would have expected and were a great “pick me up” after the honeymoon feels started to wear off. Couldn’t ask for better service. Fair and straight forward pricing. Thanks Jim!
Jim is an amazing photographer and a great guy. He's easy to get along with and works with our couples every step of the way to make sure their important moments are captured. He's...
got an artistic eye and we're always excited to work with him!
I couldn’t have asked for a better time with a photographer. James was professional, patient and fun! He has a great eye for photo opportunities and our pictures turned out to be j...
ust perfect and beautiful! He coached us through different poses and made sure we got all of those pictures I wanted. I got my pictures today and they exceeded my expectations. James was amazing and I would recommend him to anyone getting married! I loved reliving the day with each shot he got and couldn’t wait to show them off to friends and family! I can’t wait to print them out and display them at home! Thanks Jim!
We instantly knew we wanted Jim as our photographer from our first meeting. He was straight to the point, informative, and beyond easy to get along with. He is such a nice, and fun...
ny guy who truly cares about capturing your most important day perfectly.
Prior to the wedding day he helped me with my day of timeline. He answered many questions, texts and phone calls along the way. He went out of his way to help me plan and make my life easier. Once we saw rain on the forecast he quickly helped me find an awesome indoor location.
On the wedding day he became a huge hit with the wedding party and family. Everyone said they felt comfortable with him and thought he was hysterical and so fun to have around. He was basically part of the party! He was able to capture images of shy and reluctant picture takers. My bridal party mentioned multiple times after the wedding just how much they loved our photographer.
I think the most important part of this is how amazed we are with the end result. My husband and I typically hate all pictures taken of us. Jim was able to capture hundreds that we LOVE. The pictures show the happiness, love, and pure joy that we felt that day. He found beautiful angles, and captured shots I would not have even thought of.
He got the pictures back in a very timely manner and provided us sneak peaks while we waited!
I plan to use Jim for any other occasions I need pictures for- I can not imagine working with anyone else.
We are so thankful we chose Jim and could not more highly recommend him!
We loved working with Jim. He was professional, friendly, and always available via phone or text. We took him on a one mile hike in the dead heat of summer and he absolutely nailed...

e. On top of that, he recommended our DJ who was also excellent. We made a great choice having him as our photographer and we can't wait to see the finished product! He also would show us pictures after he took them so that we could see what they would look like and made sure we liked them too. Thank you!!

at they did. Every emotion, every feeling, every moment - Jim did not miss a thing. The photos have brought us to happy tears and we could not love them more. In addition to taking beautiful shots - Jim was a pleasure to work with. We actually received praise for him throughout the wedding, from guests and the wedding party commenting on how thorough he was without being intrusive. He was creative, yet traditional, and you felt like you had a friend taking pictures of you. He was the full package - always on time, a great communicator, fantastic photographer, and just all around a good guy. Seriously - can’t say enough about Jim. We are so lucky to have found him on The Knot!

ds a way to make it enjoyable and fun for everyone. He is easy to work with and takes the extra steps to make sure he understands your vision and expectations. We had a large wedding party (including our 1-year old daughter) and even bigger families to photograph, and Jim was patient and acommodating, but also made sure we were laughing and enjoying ourselves as we stayed on track. We considered adding a second photographer during the planning phases, but ultimately decided to stick with one and Jim didn't miss a beat or a photo opp. The end product was even more amazing than we could've imagined. Every picture was more beautiful than the last and I felt like I was re-living the day as I looked through the gallery. I highly recommend James Chernis Photography to create the perfect memories of your day! You will be forever grateful you chose Jim to be a part of your wedding day.

r nervous about our engagement photos or wedding photos. Leading up to the wedding, Jim reached out multiple times to make sure our day was planned and captured exactly how we wanted. He was also very flexible, allowing us to have significant say in the photos we took. We're a weird bunch and wanted that to be captured in our photos.
We are so thrilled to already have our photos back (less than 3 weeks later) and now we can share them with our family and friends! These photos are truly fantastic and we are so excited by the quality and quantity.

contact, booking, and the actual wedding day was stress free. We met Jim for the first time in person on our actual wedding day, because i was a super last minute planner and was dragging my feet with big decisions. We got so lucky that he still had the date open!! Prior to the wedding I had a few calls with Jim to go over what I did and did not want for photos and he nailed it!! He made us and our wedding party so comfortable,it was like we knew him for years! The turn around for our photos were about 3 weeks and that was during a crazy wedding season, and I already can't wait to get some pics printed and framed. I am so happy with our decision to have chosen Jim to shoot our big day. You will love looking back at his photos as the actual wdding day is a blur, and actually relive your day.
