and pictures we were hoping for. James' personal connection and desire to get to know us as individuals and not just as clients made such a difference. There are a lot of photographers out there who provide beautiful pictures, but James goes beyond that, providing beautiful pictures AND investing in the couples story.
We were able to pick the right package for us out of many options, and felt very comfortable with price.
Our engagement shoot in a snow storm was magical, and we felt so thankful James worked in such cold and crazy conditions so happily, providing us amazing shots. We ordered our engagement album through him, and love the quality and layout of the book. We were even able to use it as our guest book at our wedding.
Our wedding was also an absolute dream. James made sure all of the details were taken care of, and was very helpful with time lines and suggestions as we prepared for the day. His crew, including the videographers, were so amazing, and were a great asset to our day, rather than feeling distracting. They were troopers in the cold, and put our comfort above their own. My whole bridal party commented that James and the crew were the most efficient and friendly photographers they had seen at a wedding.
We recently got our wedding photos back and are SO happy with the results. We both felt that the wedding flew by so quickly, and we missed so many of the details we had planned or moments that occurred. We are forever grateful for James and his team for capturing all of these moments, and allowing us to remember this amazing day so beautifully! We highly recommend them!!

ut us at ease. He really wanted to get to know our story and personalities so that he could capture that in the images, and right from the get-go he had some really great ideas for our session. After we signed our contract, he stayed in touch and promptly answered any questions that we had. James convinced us to do a sunrise session, and I will admit that I was a little wary of waking up at 5:00 AM, and taking photographs. But boy was he right! The pictures look fantastic, we honestly cannot believe how good we look, and how well we feel James captured our relationship. The posed pictures are amazing, and James caught a few candid shots of us laughing and goofing around as well. He knows how to pose you just enough so that you look your best while still maintaining a very natural feel. Not only is he a great photographer, but he really knows how to photograph couples. If we weren't getting married out of state we would absolutely hire him for the wedding as well. We could not be happier that we hired James, and would do it again in a heartbeat.
