ntire process, James was calm, kind, patient, and supportive. He helped us to curate a tailored package that fit our needs, which included a second shooter (which was a priority for us), a wedding album, no engagement session (as we weren't in the area leading up to the wedding), and a full 10 hours of coverage. He also was so responsive, answering all of my questions in the months and days leading up to the wedding, and even providing a sample timeline based on our specific needs. On the day of the wedding, James and his team drove up from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara, scoped out the locations they would be shooting out ahead of time, and then even showed up to my getting-ready location early. He got started right away, though never made us feel even the least bit rushed, and started staging a lot of the detail shots while we continued to get ready. He engaged my bridesmaids in conversation to make them relax as he snapped candids of us, brought out props to help stage photos, and just generally brought such a great vibe to the morning. James was super creative about using all of the available spaces we had, suggesting all kinds of photos that never even crossed my mind! When going to the first-look location (we were running behind schedule, my fault), he was calm and flexible, but also made sure that he and his team were keeping a close eye on the time and getting us into position rapidly, dealing politely and courteously with other bystanders who were getting into the shots, and still making us feel unhurried. He also did a sunset / golden hour session with us during the wedding (which I highly recommend), where he and our videographer went around to snap some other private photos. His second shooter Bryan scoped out absolutely amazing locations ahead of time for us, and despite the fact that we don't love being in front of the camera, we felt relaxed and truly enjoyed the experience! The photo ideas he and his team came up with were creative, fun, romantic, and beautiful. After the wedding, so many people came up to talk to me about how great our photographer was! And not even 12 hours later, James sent us about 20 sneak peek photos... and we absolutely fell in love. He captured just incredible moments, including a really special moment with my mom while we were getting ready. I love all of our sneak peek photos so much, and cannot wait until we get the rest! You won't go wrong with James Korin Photography, I can't recommend then highly enough!!

e questions we had with honesty and kindness which is something that we didn't quite get. We were very hesitant on most photographers because our main issue was our budget. When we talked to them about our concerns, they actually talked to us about how important it was to have peace of mind about quality pictures on our special day, whether it be with them or someone else. They made us feel like they weren't trying to get us to do business with them as another client, but because they love doing what they do. Most photographers are only interested in doing business, of course that's what they do! But when we met up with James and Taylor just to get to know them, they made us feel so comfortable and important, we were not clients to them but friends catching up on a love story! From the moment we met James and Taylor they have been extraordinary and accommodating to fears, unforeseen situations, and just about talking to me through some wedding jitters! They went ahead and listened to what we envisioned our wedding to be, and suggested a nice place to have our engagement pictures taken and boy did they make it memorable! The place was outstanding, they had us smiling and in good spirits the entire time. They made me feel comfortable no matter how insecure I was about being on camera that towards the end I was confidently taking pictures with my wife like I'd been doing it my whole life! Even though the wedding was a year away from the time we decided to work with James Korin Photography they kept in contact with us every couple of months just to check in, give us some pep talks on wedding preparations, and just to remind us that they were there if we needed anything. When the big day arrived they arrived promptly on time and immediately started talking to us about the pictures we wanted for our wedding day and did an incredible job at managing their time not only getting my "getting ready pictures" but my wife's as well, even though our rooms were FAR apart. They crossed a big golf course to take the pictures of the wedding party bringing out the best in everyone. Every picture that James took that night looks stunning and flawless. When it was time for the reception and my wife and I did our grand entrance they had already taken the pictures of our venue, our cake, our dinner buffet, everything we had requested. Throughout the night it felt like our friends were there with us, only they were just the ones taking the pictures! We even caught Taylor dancing in one of the pictures on the side to the chacha slide. It was single-handedly the best night of our lives and James and Taylor were a HUGE part of that. I mean it when I say that they made us feel like we've known each other forever, but also made our business with them the most pleasant experience we've ever had. Choosing James Korin Photography was the best decision we made and they were worth every single penny, they are priceless. Thank you James and Taylor for accepting us, loving us, encouraging us even almost a year after our wedding. Thank you for loving what you do and bringing that onto others. I think its beautiful that you guys are not only married but work as a team to bring every couples dream wedding come to reality. You two were the best example of love on our wedding day.

I didn’t want a photographer who wasn’t going to do more than family formals. I really wanted all of the details and special moments captured as well! James and Taylor made this happen! On the day of the wedding they were complete pros! I didn’t have to worry about a thing with them! Not only did they capture everything, but they had our sneak peek shots to us before we left on our honeymoon which was not long after. Talk about white glove service! Even after our wedding, we’ve remained in close contact with them as we finalized our wedding album details. They delivered a truly beautiful album to us that we will cherish forever. When planning your wedding, pick your date, your venue, and your dream team photographer James & Taylor! It will be the best investment you can make throughout your entire wedding planning process because after the “I do’s” are said and the last guest goes home, these photos will be there as lasting memories forever. I can hardly wait for us to start a family one day so we can call them to get photos of our next family milestone!

for a year before the wedding where taylor and james made my job as coordinator so easy, they were extremely diligiant, prepared, enthusiastic and so so so kind. I have been around and worked with a lot of photographers and they tend to show up do there job and leave , But NOT with james and taylor they were involved in every aspect, they got to know all of us and really put so much effort into making everyone feel loved and at ease. The day of the wedding they captured everything beautifully and made sure every request was met , they worked amazing thru some unexpected change of itineraries and stayed until midnight making sure everything was captured and if anyone needed help cleaning up or anything in general. I truly can’t say enough Wonderful things about my experience working with them and i can say for a fact our bride and groom felt the same way. I hope You have so much success in the future as i know you do already and i hope to work along side you again.

We reviewed the venues, the church and reception hall etc. They had done their homework. They kept in contact during the whole process, the months leading up to the date. s because my fiancé hates spending time taking pictures but they were flexible and really went along with us and captured many pictures while also giving us our space. I also really appreciated Taylor’s Gelo with creating our wedding timeline and helping us stay on schedule. Don’t know how things would have turned out with them.
