James photographed our wedding in May and the photos were gorgeous. Leading up to the event, James was very easy to communicate and plan with. He helped us get a shot list and timeline ready with plenty of suggestions. Day of, he arrived early to scope the venue and make sure he had a good understanding of the different photo ops and how the lighting would be affecting each one. As we were getting ready, he took so many sweet candid getting shots of us with our families. During the ceremony and reception, we didn't even realize he was there - and it showed because the photos look so natural. He made everyone feel at ease. We received our photos very quickly after the event and couldn't wait to share them with our family and friends.

pine tundra at 13,000 feet, where he waited hidden in some small bushes. He was able to capture some stunning photos of our engagement, as well as contributing some very thoughtful suggestions for the photoshoot after the proposal. For example, he hiked up with a specific variety of champagne and a thermos of tea, both of which were great ideas and really helped elevate the day. James is really fun to work with, and does a great job making people comfortable for photos. I'm very much looking forward to having him shoot our wedding.
