n a spectacular experience from our first inquiry online to the premium quality food they served. Not to mention the excellent customer service skills their entire team exhibited. Alicia and Roxanne from James Standfield kept an open line of communication, proposed tons of options, and were very flexible with accommodating our needs. They truly put our minds at ease before the celebration by showing us everything would be handled with care and precision and they did exactly that. Well actually, they exceeded our expectations. For instance, prior to cocktail hour- our wedding party arrived at the venue early because we were done taking pictures. As we settled into the Bridal Suite to freshen up and relax, James Standfield Catering Staff, without cue, starting serving us refreshments and appetizers. After having a ceremony and taking pictures for a couple of hours, this level of service told us we were in good hands. The entire night was like that. Lastly, asides from the amazing customer service from serving staff, bartenders, kitchen staff, etc, the food was DELICIOUS!!! If you think I am joking, I kid you not. Fortunately, we arranged to have our food served buffet style because our guests told us they at least went back for seconds, some even went back for thirds. Also because we feared having any food wasted after our celebration, we requested for to-go boxes for guests to take food home if they wanted. Needless to say, at the the end of the night, all the food was gone! Till this day, we still get complimented on the food at our wedding reception and guests who are planning future events have already asked me for James Standfield Catering information. Do yourself a favor and contact James Standfield first if you're given the option to go with your own caterer. They will not let you down.

andfield. It all started with the tasting. We had no idea my brother was going to be in town, so when he flew in that morning of our tasting, of course, we wanted to bring him with us. That was the first sign I knew Alicia was quick to accommodate any surprises. As soon as we walked in, I apologized for the last minute guest and hoped to just share our 2 meal portion among 3 people. Alicia, went the extra mile and added an entire extra portion and place setting for my brother. Me being an email type of girl, communicating with Alicia was heaven. She is thorough, patient and always remembered what I asked. Even when I personally felt like I was being annoying, she never confirmed those feelings. Most reasonable price for a full service caterer in the Bay Area, plus conveniently located and available on Saturdays for tastings. During the event, everything came out perfect! Again, Alicia was right there to greet us as we arrived to the venue. She helped coordinate my crazy wedding party for the ceremony and managed to accommodate 2 extra seating assignments I forgot to include on our floor plan (oops). As for the food, our appetizers were a hit!! Luckily, Alicia made us a plate so we could actually taste what everyone was raving about. The winner, mini Tomato soup and grill cheese. A close second, was the Bruchetta. As for the entree, we couldn't really eat at that point of the wedding. I hear thats a thing b/c of all the craziness. But we did get a large doggie bag of left over entrees which wasn't bad for a middle night meal. Unfortunately, I wish I could've personally said bye to Alicia before she left but I imagine we must have been incredibly distracted and surrounded by people. All in all, Alicia is AMAZING!! I would highly recommend this caterer to any of my newly engaged friends.

The staff was incredibly professional and beyond polite to the guests. Go with James Standfield and you will NOT regret it. I am very pleased and thankful we did.
