When my husband and I decided to get married at Smith Lake in Alabama, we didn’t realize we did not have a local pastor close by until half way through planning. We found James on the knot one night at the dinner table and reached out. From that moment forward, it was our biggest blessing for our wedding day! We did 3 sessions of pre-martial counseling which we still refer to daily. James crafted the most beautiful ceremony that exceeded every expectation we could’ve dreamed of. It was Christ centered full of love, truth, and Joy from the Lord.  Additionally, he heard all of our request we wanted to be apart of the ceremony and made it so specific and special to US as a couple. I would 10/10 recommend him to any bride and groom looking for someone to be a small part (but leaving a huge impact) on your big day. We will never forget our ceremony and how comfortable we felt in that moment due to trusting Jamie and his work.

James was the best wedding officiant! My husband and I just got married in March 2026 and we are so happy with how the ceremony turned out! James was very professional, on time, and did exactly what we asked for. We were looking for a biblical based ceremony and James nailed it. Our guests were coming up to us afterwards and talking about how great the ceremony sermon was. We were very pleased and would highly recommend!

e catered his services to our needs and desires. His experience was helpful in making sure we were prepared and he even provided answers to questions we didn't yet know we had. We enjoyed getting to know James and it felt like he cared about us and our success in marriage. Due to his kindness and interest in helping us as a couple we highly recommend him and his services.

Jamie was absolutely amazing to work with! We discussed what my husband and I did and did not want included in our ceremony and the results were better than we could have imagined....
Although I’m sure we were not the easiest group to work with, he stood by offering help and advice, was extremely personable yet professional during the entire experience, and all in all, we are so thankful to have had him officiate our wedding.
