you to a point where you don’t know if he’s worth going ahead with, cause he will go mia completely and then emerge after two weeks just enough to respond to say that he is working with you, in case you file a legal complain later. He infact stated this in one of his rare responses post our deposit payment, when I questioned him. We had to change our photographer near the end due to this horrible experience. Maybe he had his good days earlier, but we would never want another couple planning their wedding to go through the stress he caused us.

also used his own light that he brought along. He was soft spoken but made sure we were where we needed to be and gave good directions to us. He was very nice to both me and my wife and was actually pretty funny too. I would recommend him to anyone that likes the style of pictures they see on his website.

, but then on wedding day he missed the entire "first look" shoot (stating he was having 'car trouble"..) and when he finally arrived at the venue he was intoxicated to the point of stumbling around, unable to perform his hired duties, by far. He called a lot of attention tripping over bushes, taking away from the beautiful couple trying to exchange their vows, the vows he was supposed to be capturing on film! He had excuse after excuse, and after enough embarrassment and drama, he finally left. Not to mention, as of today, he still hasn't given a refund of the deposit, completely ignoring the couple's communication attempts. James was a total mess and completely unprofessional.

owed up seeming to be under the influence of drugs/alcohol. He was ultimately asked to leave after our wedding ceremony, because he was such a mess and his "assistant" was no help either. To this day, James has not provided an executed contract after multiple requests for one. Probably because he does not want to be held accountable. We should have seen James’ lack of communication as a red flag, and honestly regret moving forward with him as our photographer. James has an endless amount of excuses for every single one of his mess ups when working with him. James can try to give excuses and claim he was not stumbling around during our wedding ceremony, but unfortunately we have 94 wedding guests as firsthand witnesses to his sloppy unprofessionalism. During our wedding ceremony, James was stumbling around and tripping over bushes. Not because there were uneven stones, but because he was trampling around in the landscaping. It was even distracting for me, the bride. James could not walk without stumbling, so during our ring exchange he planted himself crisscross applesauce in the middle of the aisle with his elbows on his knees in an attempt to stabilize himself. After my groom and I shared our kiss, we began to turn to walk down the aisle and there’s James still planted in the aisle. We had to awkwardly stand there smiling waiting for him to register what was going on and get off the ground. He then proceeded to hobble along in front of us with his back to us (not taking any photos) as we exited down the aisle. We tried to give him the benefit of the doubt to shoot our ceremony even after he was arguing with us 10min before our ceremony was to begin, because he wanted us to push back our wedding ceremony 30min so he could try to capture sunset photos on an overcast day at dusk. My eldest brother had to ask James to step out of our suite because James had me in tears minutes before I was supposed to walk down the aisle. James was asked to leave our wedding because it was upsetting for us just to be around him/interact with him. He could barely carry a conversation. The reason there was one wedding guest with a DSLR taking photos during our ceremony is because I had to call one of my best friends to ask her to bring her camera to the ceremony when James informed us 30min before he was supposed to arrive that he would be would be an hour and a half late. I was in full hair and make-up in tears, because I was having to worry about whether or not our wedding photographer was going to show up. The 194 photos James finally sent us aren't like the photos in his portfolio. His photos were unedited, burst shots, out of focus. Incredibly sloppy work that he took over two weeks to give to us. We were able to salvage a total of FIVE photos. James missed the entire procession. James may have had some good moments as a photographer, but our unfortunate experience is also what he is capable of. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT take the risk in hiring him. James was not harassed or accused of anything other than being unprofessional, dishonest, and a complete disappointment. Note his Yelp review from Marty S. on 9/6/18 where he did a NO CALL NO SHOW to a wedding. I've contacted that bride and she confirmed James was fired from Bellagala after not showing to her wedding.

It took us over two months to get him to send us a contract and when he finally did the contract read groom and groom instead of bride and groom which he knew applied to our wedding. After I sent the contract back he had nothing but excuses as to why he couldn't send a signed copy back to me which ranged from I'm traveling, I don't have internet, to my bunny was sick. I finally got so frustrated I handed communications over to my mom, at that point he told her I never sent him a contract. I am sure the photos and his work would have been great but his lack of communication, attention to detail, and follow through lead us to book another photographer.

ade us connect with his work on an emotional level. After talking with him and sharing the vision for our wedding, I knew we had found our photographer. He listened and truly demonstrated an understanding for what we wanted. Moreover, he suggested ideas, locations & shots that took our vision up to the next level. We were married in August 2017 and received access to our photos approximately one month later just as he had promised. James did not disappoint! He captured all of our special moments with shots that are elegant, creative and simply stunning. We could not have asked for more! He is beyond talented, knowledgeable, attentive and extremely easy to work with. If you are looking for a highly skilled photographer to capture a special moment in your life, I assure you James Waynauskas can make it happen!

anted. He went with the flow because I can be a bit wild. I got him out on a random boat to take pictures of us jumping off the dock at the end. Priceless. He is a doll and I would love to hire him again or hang out with him 😂. I love sunsets and nature pictures and he nailed it.

Super friendly and always professional, James made us feel comfortable and relaxed during our portraits. When we received our photos we were amazed by the lighting and attention to detail. James has such an amazing talent for capturing ‘moments’ which is exactly what you want on your wedding day.

h minor retouches. Pros: - Good quality photos. - Having a second shooter was great. - Receiving all of the photos on a USB drive was wonderful. Cons: - He showed up to the wedding in a short sleeved Hawaiian shirt. It did make it easy to find him, but it also made him seem unprofessional. - It took almost a month to get the photos back (but he was willing to offer more full retouches because of it).

ut the prospect of shooting our wedding and made us feel comfortable and equally as enthusiastic about having him. He showed us examples of his work which was all outstanding. We were thoroughly impressed with his artistic abilities and knowing that he would be the one shooting at our wedding. He takes the photos and he edits them himself, so you know you're getting the best of what he saw the day of your wedding. He was extremely easy to work with and we would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!

on time, very professional and understanding of all the unexpected. We received our photos faster than expected. Hundreds of phenomenal pictures and would definitely recommend him to anybody. He was able to get both posed and candid shots and capture memories that will last a lifetime.
