o invested in capturing all of the most important and fun moments. Their photos are like works of art and we can't believe the photos they captured on our big day. They are also quick to respond and deeply thoughtful. We loved having them as our photographers on our wedding day and cannot recommend them enough.

y would be wonderful because I'd been following them on Instagram and Facebook for well over 5 years ever since seeing a photo shoot they did with one of my friends and coworkers. When we got engaged, Jameykay and Arlie were the first people I looked into and I didn't get much farther. Jameykay reached out to me almost immediately and was so much friendlier than I could have imagined. I enjoyed filling out their intake form and sharing our story with them. When we took our engagement photos, we had planned to go one place off of the Blue Ridge Parkway but because of rain we had to spontaneously change our location. Jameykay and Arlie were such troopers, trudging through the rain with us, all getting soaked just so we could take some beautiful pictures in our favorite mountains. They suggested we move to Graveyard Falls, which couldn't have been a better idea! Our engagement photos were better than I expected. Because of our long engagement, we worked consistently together to keep each other on the same page and up to date with plans, guests, etc. I really appreciated how open and accepting they were to our "wedding", which was admittedly so non-traditional it resembled a backyard BBQ/family reunion more than anything else, especially considering they are used to much fancier affairs (at least I assume so based on their photos). They were not concerned at all that I couldn't get them a day-off timeline until just a couple of days before and were totally on board when we made spontaneous changes to our plans that day. Their style fitted my style so well - by that, I mean, I didn't know they were there. Very rarely were we posed and they were never intrusive. I've been to weddings where the photographer seemed like the main event and Jameykay and Arlie were not that for us which I am very grateful for. They captured what I believe or at least wanted my wedding photos to be which is the feel of the event in a candid, honest, and sometimes revealing way. I have looked at our DropBox album - https://jameykay.smugmug.com/Alyssa-and-Duncan-Wedding - dozens of times since they shared our photos with me and every time I love them even more. Each time I look at them, I find a little detail that I didn't catch the last time round, and I catch myself with the hugest smile on my face. Our wedding was calm, casual, joyful, and lovely (in every sense of the word) and their photos show exactly those qualities. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. P.S. To make it even better, I would totally hang out and grab a beer with them even though the wedding is over.

From our first initial meeting to our last correspondence, they were professional, down to earth, and committed to creating beautiful images for us. During our engagement shoot, which I highly recommend, they immediately made us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera. On our wedding day they captured not only the personalities of our guests and family, but also the essence of the day. Jameykay and Arlie are true artists. Each one has such a distinct eye, working harmoniously together. Their partnership is beautiful on its own. We are grateful for their work, and that they are two badass people. ❤
