e worked with us on every facet of our ceremony and reception, offered his own views and recommendations, somehow worked in all the weird and random songs we wanted, helped to shorten and mix songs into each other, and was always available pre-wedding to talk through questions. He took an immense amount of care and effort in ensuring everyone had a good time – from the ceremony all the way through to the reception. We never had to think about or worry about anything logistical – a true relief when you have so much else on your mind that day! He is a true professional. It all went off without a hitch and people still say what a great time they had at the reception. We all truly couldn’t believe how much fun we had and how fast the time flew by on the dance floor – he worked some crazy musical magic. We cannot thank or recommend Jamie enough for all he did to make our day so amazing. We wish we could give him more than 5 stars!

k with. He completely understood our vibe after just a short conversation, and he chose incredible sets that got even the most reluctant of dancers out on the floor. He also nailed the ceremony music cues and spent a lot of time trying to cut our first dance song down. He's a gem and I hope he's the maestro for every wedding I attend forever.

dtrack for our wedding. Jamie helped us with timeline and ideas with things we were not unsure of during the planning process. We appreciated his guidance and suggestions and he really made the flow of the wedding work well. It was exactly how I pictured the music for our wedding day. Jamie is professional and charming and was an incredible MC. Our last song was so special and it wouldn't have been complete with out him. P.S. if your a fan of "the boss" this is your man.

were hoping our DJ would be and more. Not only did he know all of the alternative songs we wanted him to play, but he had connections to like half of the artists themselves! He kept our friends and family dancing all night long. Super easy to work with and super nice guy!

set list, we wanted something different. With Jamie’s experience as a club dj, we got just that. He doesn’t show up with a set list, instead he gauges the crowd and plays what everyone is into which over the course of the evening got everyone on the dance floor. His own mixes are awesome and some of them we’ve actually asked him for since they will always remind us of the wedding because everyone loved them! He was so easy to work with, and helped us to create the vibe we wanted for each part of the wedding. For example I could not find the right ceremony music. I love VSQ but so many people use them so I wanted something different. He suggested another instrumental group that turned out to be exactly what I was looking for! He’s also just a really cool guy that you would in all honesty just want to be friends with. I would highly recommend Jamie!!!

nd easy going guy. He clearly has a ton of experience in what he does - there were a few areas we weren't sure about (i.e. cocktail music and processional music) and he took care of it perfectly 100%. He didn't miss a single song that we wanted to hear during the dance portion of the evening. We also noted him having fun with the music throughout the evening which just helped keep the party and good times going :) Would recommend him 100%.

d flexible despite the difficulties that our venue presented (multiple levels, different sound systems, old building!) We wanted a DJ that didn't talk constantly or act like a hype man--and when you meet Jamie, you'll understand that he is the exact opposite. He was completely professional, super fun and just had an all-around great presence and command of the party. Our wedding day wouldn't have been nearly as memorable without him as our DJ. ion would be a success. We feel extremely lucky to have found Jamie! He was very easy to work with and picked up on our styles and preferences right away. He even was so kind as to set up a phone conference for us- as we lived out of state from where our wedding was taking place, this was a huge plus! An added bonus was that he is a huge Harry Potter fan and had some HP themed music to fit right in with our reception and crowd. He definitely knew how to read the room. When certain songs seemed to get more people on the dance floor, he kept playing them to keep the party atmosphere going. He had everything in his arsenal from 90s/2000s throwbacks, motown, Harry Potter Dark Lord Funk, latin dance music, modern day hits, and more! Our first dance was a bit unusual and we had a funky timing request for our bridal party entrance song- Jamie made our entire event seamless! We couldn’t have found a more down to earth and professional DJ to work with. Thank you for helping to make our wedding day so memorable!

bands. I wanted to play a few of his songs during the cocktail hour and reception, especially for a song to dance to with my nephews. My husband thought he sent Jamie what he needed to be able to play the songs but it didn't work and we found out a few hours before that Jamie needed the CD. I have awesome family that brought a CD and we gave it to Jamie and he said he knew it was important to us that we play those songs and he wanted to make sure he had backup so he could play them. That really touched me, he didn't have to care about that, and I believe he genuinely did. I'm so glad I hired amazing vendors who turn out to be great people too. We gave Jamie a lot to work with and he joked we basically created the song list anyway! We wanted a relaxed, fun experience for our guests. We wanted to play some alternative music which Jamie had no problem with! We didn't want an "in your face, loud DJ" (no offense to those that like that sort of thing, it just isn't ours) and Jamie fit the bill perfectly. He was so flexible, he played a song on my husband's whim, plugged in my father-in-law's phone. We got so many compliments on the music! My cousin said to me, "You know, sometimes at weddings the music is not always...what you would prefer. I knew coming to your wedding, the music HAD to be good, and it is!" Jamie played the best soundtrack to the best day of our lives. I would absolutely recommend Jamie Grimble for weddings or any party. Thank you so much, Jamie!

n person to discuss specifics prior to booking, and also communicated via text, phone, emails, and through a google doc. His British accent is ridiculously fun. We asked for photographer recommendations and Jamie referred us to George Weiss III (also an awesome vendor, check him out as well). The night of our wedding he was beyond sweet and ridiculously good at surveying the crowd and knowing what to play when. The surprise at the end was epic. We also felt like he really listened to our taste in music and had some sort of psychic ability regarding what to play. We seriously want a list of every song he played. It was perfect.

mie. He was easy to work with, super cool guy with great music taste, and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for any event!

We were sold, and we honestly didn't consider anyone else. I admit that I was pretty specific and inflexible when it came to music; it was the thing I cared most about, and I curated a lengthy playlist over the course of several months that I apprehensively shared with Jamie, fearful he would be defensive or think I was totally nuts. Maybe the latter was true, but he never let on! ;) Jamie played what we wanted, added what he knew we'd like based on our tastes, and most importantly, went to BAT for us when our venue reps @ Power Plant Productions demanded we turn the music down due to noise complaints from the neighbors. WHAT?! Jamie was on our team all the way, and that solidarity earned him major points in our books forever. Jamie also killed it at corraling our bridal party and families for announcements, respecting our requests for variations on the traditional parents/first dances, and overall added to the tremendous joy we felt on our wedding day.

people were still having a great time. He planned with us beforehand and made sure he had all the details ready to go. He was set up on time and worked with our venue seamlessly. Amazing music, nicest guy, so much fun.

when I was a bridezilla and at one point just told me to trust him, which I did. He did great, was able to gauge the crowd, and communicated clearly with all of our families and different vendors.
