She was very professional during our Vietnamese tea ceremony and Catholic wedding! My husband and I only received the highlight pictures and cannot wait for the full album. I seriously can’t stop looking at and showing people the pictures that she took. My only regret is that I didn’t add a film package with her! I hope I can work with her again!

Which later came in handy due to the tight schedule our venue and planner had for us. While the weather in WTX is far from predictable, Jamie also helped in finding a back up photographer in the chance that the weather (potential ice storm) prevented her from traveling to Lubbock. All to say, she leads her business with passion and professionalism. Jamie made the entire process easy-going and helped us enjoy the day! I can only ever say great things about her. the last year and Jamie was the absolute correct choice for all of that. We did the package that included a second shooter, engagement photos, and film scans and I would do it all over again! The film scans were incredible and probably my favorite part of her photography (get it if you're on the fence!) and they totally elevated that romantic and intimate feel we were going for. My now husband was pretty nervous about getting engagement pictures done because he does not like having his photo taken at all. After our engagement photo session, he was so happy with how comfortable he felt during the shoot and how the photos turned out! The amount of photos we got back from our engagement and wedding sessions were great as well. Literally no complaints over here. . I came across Jamie’s profile through a story that a wedding planner had shared. Once I saw Jamie’s work, I immediately knew she was the *one.* In our initial conversations, Jamie described her work as between moody and airy, not too moody, but not too white and airy. And I immediately felt like her style was exactly what I was searching for. Vibrant photos that resemble real life. Photos that have movement, that feel natural and alive. Not overly edited or overdone, just an enhanced version of what real life looks like! And to be fair, I know there’s SO much work done in the background to make photos look ~effortless~ and ~enhanced~ but I can confirm Jamie has a GREAT eye. I feel like what we signed up for were photos but what we received were little snippets of emotion and feelings and memories. I have always considered photography an art but wow, Jamie’s work really exceeded our expectations. Beyond the beautiful gallery we received from Jamie, we were so impressed with her reliability, responsiveness, and helpfulness. She sent over vendor recommendations and made time to meet us before our wedding. And from a timing perspective, she was so communicative regarding when we would receive what (sneaks, gallery). It was so special to receive ~10 pre-sneaks the morning after our wedding to view as we made our way to our honeymoon!!! And lastly, Jamie is just so kind and trustworthy. She treats people so well and makes the process fun!!! Obviously each couple has a process to find the vendors they want to work with. What I can say with high confidence is that Jamie captured our day in the exact way we had hoped she would without us even articulating what that was. She made the day flow comfortably by capturing the special “in-between” moments so when we look back, nothing feels posed or unnatural. She also stepped up on the day of and gave extremely clear directions to our wedding party and families to keep things on schedule and get all the pictures on our checklist. It’s truly an impressive skill for someone to lead/direct a large group of strangers, doing so in a calm and collected manner. Especially when emotions are running high for a lot of people! We can’t recommend Jamie enough. It’s truly a beautiful process when vendors that began as strangers start to feel like friends. She is going to be the first person we call when we have another milestone in our life that is photo worthy!!

my husband also got to join, and we had the best most relaxed time with Jamie. All the wedding jitters and stress were gone, so we got to have fun and take photos that showed our personality a little more! From the start Jamie was quick to respond to my inquiry, flexible and extremely knowledgeable as she provided so many wonderful recommendations through the process. During the shoot, Jamie made both Austin and I feel so comfortable! Jamie was so welcoming and treated us like one of her close friends. From the start, Jamie came across as bubbly, thoughtful, and warm - she is incredibly responsive and was willing to offer her list of vendor recommendations and advice when my partner and I felt stuck in the process. We didn’t have to do uncomfortable poses, but instead Jamie offered suggestions of movements for us to try and see what felt natural to us and our relationship. Day off, if there were aspects of the background I didn’t like, I felt very comfortable voicing my ideas to Jamie and she would pivot in less than a second! It was clear she wanted us to be happy and enjoy the process. Lucky for us, we not only enjoyed working with her, but were BLOWN AWAY with the photos she captured. We were in awe! The way Jamie captured the light, the natural background, the people, and the intimacy of our family moments is better than we could have imagined. We looked natural and relaxed in our photos; I feel like our photos help to tell the story of our Nikkah and are so much more than posed moments. For example, we recently saw a friend who was unable to make it to our Nikkah, so we used Jamie’s photos to help fill him in on how the day went - the emotions and depth she captured in the photos were perfect to tell our story.
