Jan had another wedding later that day and wasn't even able to stay for my wedding (understandably) but as my ceremony took place in the same room as my reception, I had to have my friends and wedding coordinators figure out how Jan had wanted my flowers. The was very frustrating for me and I wish she would have assistants that could stay when she had situations like this or that she would have drawn out a detailed plan for how she wanted it set up. Aside from those pitfalls I was more than pleased with what Jan delivered as far as my flowers. I hadn't known what to expect but when I first saw my bouquets and the arrangements I was speechless; they were better than what I had pictured for myself. So admongst the frustrations, I am very glad I chose Jan Baker as my florist. FYI: I'm unsure if this is the same Jan Baker as I don't recognize the address. The Jan Baker's address I went to was on Edelweiss court.

on weddings. When we first got engaged before even picking out our wedding date, I knew she would be the one designing our flowers. Our theme was a "rustic garden" feel, and her creative touches were really what brought this theme to life. She knew just the right wild flowers to use. The colors were so vibrant, the ball jar centerpieces with flowers and little glass vases set in the window sills were perfect as were the lit votive candles everywhere you looked. In addition to being incredible in her own field, Jan also knew exactly who to recommend when we asked her opinion about other vendors. In the end every single vendor we went with were ones she recommended, and we were thrilled with each and every one. She knows the wedding business well, and is in my opinion among the very best!

and we even partnered with her in finding the materials, which helped us save some money. Come the wedding day, Jan delighted me with gorgeous flowers that were EXACTLY what I wanted. She is so talented, and everything was absolutely perfect. She is very professional, and we had no worries whatsoever - everything was perfect!
