Jan Pelton Photography

She was prompt in her quotes and gave us a really fair price compared to other photographers we spoke with. In fact, I don't think she charges what her work is worth-she is absolutely amazing! From the first meeting, to the wedding, she was unbelievabley nice and considerate of our needs. She made me and my husband feel so relaxed and comfortable during the meeting and both picture sessions. My entire family after the wedding told us how much they enjoyed her being there for every moment, but not "being in the way". After we saw our wedding pictures, we absolutely knew what they meant even though it sounded blunt. She captured so many special moments that we didn't even know existed until the photos came back. On our way home from our honeymoon, she sent us a slideshow of our wedding pictures to view and my husband and I literally spent over an hour crying like babies in the airport because of how great she did. If there was a rating for 10 stars, Jan would absolutely deserve them. We will have her take our children's baby photos when that time comes, as well as our family pictures. Each person I come into contact with that is having a special occasion coming up, gets a reccomendation for Jan. She will work with you to give you exactly what you invision and will surprise you when you see the results. If she doesn't win for best photographer of the year, I will be shocked! Please use Jan for your engagement and wedding photos, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Jan for taking all of our memories and making them into photos that we can share with our friends, family and hopefully future customers.

photos (and we did)! Jan and her partner were very professional, and they had beautiful and fun ideas for photos. They captured every moment of my day and now we have great photos to look back at and remember our wedding. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great photographer for their wedding.

e past ten years and her work never dissappoints. She was willing to travel 600 miles in order to shoot my wedding. She was there from start to finish, including the rehearsal. She is extremely easy to work with and friendly to boot :) She understands the shots that are important to get and finds creative ways in making those shots. Our pictures are beautiful and stunning and are more than I could have ever hoped for. Jan will not dissappoint her customers and I will continue using her in the future.

igh on The Knot, so I decided to give her a shot. From the beginning, she was very professional and laid-back, two qualities I really wanted for our photographer. She let us have our wedding and ceremony and photos "our way" and did a great job of making the flower girl and ring bearer have fun (and behave!). Jan was confident, concise, prepared, and always available for questions. I highly recommend her to anyone that wants a special event captured in the most candid, real way. Thanks, Jan!

en we got the pictures back we were floored at how beutiufl and how "us" they were. Then on the wedding day she came early to make sure she knew the place well and helped calm the frantic bride (me) down a bit. She was quick to get previews back to us and they're BEAUTIFUL! She really got us and what we wanted. The best money we spent for the wedding! Love her and will use her again for any family photos!

still waiting on prints, but I know they will be exceptional. The experience was very memorable and they made it extra special: helping us along the way, allowing us to be a little creative, and making sure they captured all the moments.

cient without making you feel like they were being quick and efficient: it felt like she was taking her time and arranging poses and pictures and listening to you, while at the same time keeping everything moving. The pictures were AMAZING -- she caught all of the right moments. She also asks you about the style of pictures that you like, and she delivered on the styles that we requested. Excellent photographer.

n October 2011. I would recommend her to all brides in Colorado. She just has a way of making you feel comfortable while shooting pictures. I didn't even realize she was taking pictures half the time during our wedding reception. She took pictures of every little detail. Being a bride who obssessed about all the details, loved that she got photos for me to remember every little thing.

ur photos without feeling like we had to pay a fortune. She had a unique challenge with the natural light and bright sunshine coming through very large windows at our venue. Our photos show that Jan has expertise in taking photos under these circumstances. Both indoor and outdoor photos were beautiful. If I had to select a photographer over again, I would definitely select Jan Pelton Photography.

ly easy-going, yet very professional in her approach towards this important day. She asked ahead of time what kinds of pictures we wanted to ensure we didn't forget anything. And she got things I didn't even think of - like photos of the guests at the reception, a beautiful artsy shot of our rings with a bouquet, and some beautifully wrapped gifts. I can honestly say that I love every single one of my wedding photos and it was difficult to choose which ones I wanted to enlarge and frame, because they were all so wonderful in the moments, expressions, and details that Jan captured. Everyone who has seen the photos since the wedding has also been very impressed with the quality of our photographer and how she captured some amazing live action moments, like when my husband carried me down the aisle after our wedding was over, or when he dipped me for our first dance. They turned out beautifully and really captured the feeling of the day. Her assistant is also very good and shot GQ-like poses of the groomsmen. Jan is excellent at manipulating the light to get a desired effect and both indoor and outdoor shots looked great. In the end, I am so glad Jan photographed my wedding and am looking forward to her photographing my sister's wedding next year!

tion and took absolutely wonderful shots of the whole event. She does beautiful inside and outside photography as well. She is easy to work with to be able to figure out what you want for your wedding and what type of photography you are looking for.

he also pays close attention to details that really make her work shine. Jan is incredibly professional but laid-back which makes her easy to work with. She put my mind at ease during our wedding knowing that she'd arrive early, make sure we got all the photos we wanted, and then did a great job mingling with our guests and capturing photos that are keepsakes for my husband and I. Jan's prices are very reasonable and she can tailor any of her packages to fit your needs. I would highly recommend Jan for any photography needs and we hope to use her again in the future for family pictures and for any other special occasions.
