Jana is simply the best! We hired her for our wedding after a fantastic experience with her for another family wedding. She is AMAZING! Not only is she incredibly talented but highly organized and gives great direction. We had a large bridal party and a bit of a wild bunch and she kept us all on schedule so we could prioritize time with us as a couple. She has a fantastic eye for lighting and setting and takes great candid photos! She was so much fun to work with and her photos are BEAUTIFUL! We highly recommend Jana and can’t wait to work with her again in the future for other photography needs!

The BEST decision you can make for your wedding is to hire Jana Bannan as your photographer! Jana was so helpful in the wedding planning process, including when we had to postpone our wedding date due to covid. We also enjoyed two engagement photo shoots leading up to the wedding day! Jana was THE most helpful person on our wedding day - from helping us plan our wedding day timeline, keeping everyone on schedule throughout the day, and even helping putting my veil on perfectly! Jana and Chelsea are both so professional and truly talented with photography. We could not ask for better pictures from our wedding day - they are perfect! We are so excited to see our wedding album when it is complete! Jana is so knowledgeable about photography and weddings. She is truly the BEST of the best! Jana is absolutely AMAZING and we could not be happier to have had her as our wedding photographer. She was super responsive and easy to communicate with which was so helpful during the wedding planning process. We had her for our engagement shoot and wedding and were absolutely blown away. Her attention to detail and talent is incredible. She and her partner Mike made the day so fun, helped to make our day run smoothly, and made sure to capture all of our special moments with ease. Jana took beautiful engagement photos of my fiance and I at Winterthur Garden in DE. Her and a colleague who assisted made us feel comfortable, took their time and made sure we were enjoying ourselves along the way. We were so excited to have Jana photograph our wedding July 2020, but unfortunately had to cancel our large ceremony due to Covid 19 and opted to have a small ceremony at our home in Maryland. Jana was not only understanding, but offered to travel to our home to capture our ceremony if government guidance allows (depending on how many people are allowed at our event). Two takeaways working with Jana: 1. She is talented and will have you feeling comfortable as soon as you meet her. 2. She is compassionate and reasonable. Jana was kind enough to offer us a refund if she is unable to render her services for our small wedding in July. You'll love working with Jana. She is sweet, lively and a true artist. Jana was the best! She was professional, yet relatable, caring and accommodating. We just love what she did with our special engagement photo session! But we were ecstatic with the wedding photos! Jana included everything I wanted with the photos and was able to accommodate a large family, weather changes, vastly different locations, and unpredictable situations and children. She helped me organize the wedding day to help with the flow and timing of everything from pre-wedding hair and makeup to the ceremony to post-ceremony pictures to the fun of the reception. It took only a few moments after meeting Jana and her partner Mike at The Hotel the afternoon of our wedding, to realize that we were dealing with the best. Although she came highly recommended, my fiancé and I decided early on that we did not want photographers, cameras and posing to take away from our ceremony and special time with friends and family. Photographs were not important. I will be the first to admit, after seeing the beautiful talent displayed in her photos of us that I was wrong. We cannot stop looking at our photographs and get tears of joy each time they are viewed and shared with friends! Our friends are amazed and share with everyone as well. She captured such beautiful moments. I knew immediately I was dealing with more than just a photographer, we were dealing with a high-end professional who knew exactly what she wanted. Before the wedding she captured me and my gown and friends in the beautiful light of the sun shining in the window while suggesting the best, natural poses, as she swiftly moved and snapped photos before the sun set. Her personality and warm smile made me less nervous. She continued photographing as I walked down the hallway into the ceremony. All beautiful. During the ceremony I wasn't even aware of their presence because they were so unobtrusive, yet the gorgeous photos prove they were! We changed our minds on the importance of professional wedding photos! What we thought would not be a big deal turned out to be one of the most important parts of the wedding. Memories will fade in time, however, the photographs that Jana and Mike captured will continually speak to us and remind us of the best day of our lives. Jana Bannan is a true artist and we are lucky she was recommended to us.
