She was so communicative and responsive with numerous meetings leading up to the wedding date to make sure we were on the same page with everything we wanted. She was with us for the whole day, and is so much fun to be around that she really helped us to relax and feel comfortable. We had SO many of our guests tell us how amazing she was. She had a preview of our pictures to us ready very quickly and we are absolutely in love with them! She is absolutely phenomenal at what she does and is a joy to work with!

We had absolutely terrible weather for the wedding, resulting in the majority of our pictures taking place indoors (which was not the original plan), and they turned out phenomenally. le 2 times and Jana was EXTREMELY flexible and beyond helpful and kind during the entire process. At the wedding, she was an absolute GODSEND. She helped keep the day on track, was EXTREMELY flexible when the timeline went off track and worked tirelessly to get it back on track and capture every important moment from the day. She works with your other vendors and really takes a TON of work and stress of you. I unfortunately learned the hard way not to wear a corset under a 40 lb ballgown in 390482030 degree heat and when I inevitably got sick, Jana jumped into action and literally iced me down, nursed me back to health, and made sure that I got mints. She's literally an angel on Earth. I honestly have no idea how we would've gotten through the planning process and wedding day without her. I cannot stress enough how incredible she is. Beyond her extremely kind and fun demeanor, she's absolutely fabulous to work with. My now husband HATES getting his picture taken and even he admitted how fun our engagement and wedding session were and he's looking forward to a second wedding pic session in the fall. She makes the process SO fun and works tirelessly to ensure you get ever single shot you want, no matter how crazy. Now on to her talent - Jana is easily the MOST talented photographer I've ever seen. Her work outside of portraits is inspired and her portraits (wedding, engagement, etc) are INCREDIBLE. I'm a plus size bride, EXTREMELY insecure and self conscience, and normally don't like pictures of myself that other people take and I LOVE every picture Jana has taken of me. She knows the best angle for everyone and every couple, her ability to use and thrive in any lightening is amazing, and her shots are all pure art. I will forever ask Jana to be our photographer! Pricing - honestly she should charge a million dollars for her work and I'm not sure why she doesn't. Her prices are beyond reasonable and she is worth more than every penny. Photography is THE single most important thing for your wedding day, pictures will be the only thing you get to take away from the day. Hire Jana, I promise you won't regret it!

She even helped me get in my wedding dress after my mom and bridesmaids had trouble with the back buttons! The planning stages leading up to our wedding were amazingly organized. She was there from the time we started getting ready in the morning until the very end of the reception doing what she does best. the time and I already knew she would be my photographer. We spent the months leading up to the wedding planning every aspect - my inner-planner loved it. Jana knew all the right questions to ask and things to consider. Our Wedding day did not go to plan at all. Our wedding day was 5/27/18 near Main street Ellicott City, Maryland. This was the day of the historic flooding: 11 inches of rain in about 3 hours. I had planned on an outdoor wedding, and that nice idea was not an option on this day. We had bigger problems with guests getting stuck in the floods on the surrounding roads, including Jana herself. She almost didn’t make it from my parents house to the venue; nevertheless, she persisted and found higher ground after getting flooded out in Ellicott City. After the Ceremony, we were cramped inside the venue, we had the scheduled family photos to shoot, and the first words out of Jana’s mouth were “Rain Check?”. This was in reference to the photos I had wanted in the sun and evening light, so the priority at this point for the day was to take the family photos. Jana had my back as we went through the tedious process of family photos and keeping people out of the frame (way more challenging than it looks). There was nowhere else in the venue for guests to go, so this took a lot longer than expected. It was a stressful day and I’m glad it has passed; but, the best thing I did was take Jana up on the rain check reshoot. It was the best gift ever, and she didn’t think twice about it. I could have gone back to the venue, but why?...when I could choose any location without cost being a factor. So I picked Longwood Gardens: it’s a beautiful place that makes me so happy that I could live there. Jana was down for the adventure, and we planned out our next shoot date with no problems - and thankfully it didn’t rain. I got to have my beautiful dress photographed in glorious evening sunlight at a stunning location. I had a figure-hugging gown with a 10 foot train, so I was pretty upset not having photos of this outside on display. We got to have photos of us together, as well as immediate family - with no rain or limitations of being inside. These are the photos on my wall that I show friends and family. These are the photos I look at everyday. Making the choice to prioritize the family photos on the wedding day and hold off the other photos I wanted was the best decision Jana and I made. I will never have all those family members in one place again. It wasn’t what we planned for the day, but Jana adapted to the situation and we rolled with it. Bottom line: Jana has your back. She’ll drive through flooded waters for you (unknowingly), adapt to the changing environment, and will make sure you get the photos you want, come rain or shine.

ng her when the time came was one of the very first, top-priority wedding planning tasks we did! Jana is so passionate, professional, talented, fun, and kind. She did both our engagement shoot and wedding, and the photos were so gorgeous, artful, and full of emotion. She really knows her stuff, and helped us to draft a solid wedding-day timeline in the months leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day itself, she helped ensure we were following the timeline and also coordinated with other vendors. We had a short thunderstorm before the ceremony, and she and her lovely assistant Sam took it in stride, worked around it, and made sure we still got all of the shots we had been hoping for. I admit I was a pretty demanding bride, with a clear vision in mind, and Jana had so much shared enthusiasm and great ideas. I really hope to work with her again in the future! She is worth every single penny— wedding photos last a lifetime, and I’m excited to share our beautiful pictures with our kids and grandkids some day :) Thank you, Jana!

I love the art and wanted someone who was more than just a person who decided one day they were a photographer because they bought a nice camera. Jana is a true professional and a true artist. She added to our wedding day with her engaging style. All of our guests raved about her and wanted her to join the festivities. Her willingness to do a specific session my wife had hoped for was incredible... particularly since it was dependent on a snowstorm coming to town. At every step, she was responsive and understanding, and when there was family drama and hardships to overcome she was a seasoned voice of reason to help me make decisions and put a smile back on my face. She was absolutely worth every penny and I wouldn't trade the experience we had with her for anything.
